There are some really nice touches to this little hotel. The key cards look like replicas of UCONN alum's id cards, the room's bathroom has adorable custom wallpaper showing basketball players, huskies and college students, and even a welcome back kotter lamp in our particular room. There is a giant husky right when you walk in to the lobby which is fun. You know you are at a UCONN hotel. The hotel truly feels part of the campus, which is very convenient. The not so great parts were the person at the front desk was super unfriendly upon check in. The front desk person upon check out was a ray of sunshine though! The room is nice but has some wear and tear. The hallway is somewhat worn down with peeling back wallpaper. Also, we were here in between semesters and it was sooooo expensive. I can only imagine how much it is during the school year.

My only issue was how early house keeping came around, knocking on doors before 9am. I feel as tho they should know which rooms are ready to be cleaned. Everything was amazing!

Everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Big bathroom and plenty of towels for all of us. Loved the shampoo and conditioner. Made my hair so soft. The staff were polite yet easy to talk to. Excellent coffee and what food we did have was delicious. Plan to stay here when visiting my granddaughter at UConn. Five stars ..
