The pool wasn't in working conditions and when I requested a refund the front desk person said it just wasn't "pretty". It was green and I had no idea what chemicals were put in or when so I didn't feel comfortable putting my kids in. They were unable to issue a refund (within mins of check-in) without the general manager, who wasnt there. We, had to stay because i counldnt affors to lose the money we spent on this hotle and another, if the refund wasnt granted. The General manager did call me on the 2nd day of the trip, but by then there was nothing they could do. I expected my trip to be protected by Expedia and they werent helpful and will be wary of using them in the future.

Very quiet and friendly place. The room was a little musty and didn't get as cold as I would have liked. The pool could have used a good clean, had a lot of bugs sitting on the bottom and floating on top. Shower was hot and bed was comfortable, over a nice stay.

It was good for a quick stay. Definitely an old hotel that needs updating. Shower had very low pressure, the shower head could have used a good soaking with vinegar. Room was clean, but dated. Old mattress, very uncomfortable. Road noise is an issue with thin walls. AC took a long time to get to temp since they turn them off when no one is there probably. But, good for a quick no frills stay. Big pool on site.

The price was gouged $200 a night! The comforter on my bed had many blood spots and the floor made under my feet dirty. The carpet needs shampooing. The bed isn’t comfortable you can feel the springs in your back. The breakfast was ok! The waffle maker kept sticking so they keep burning. For the price I paid it wasn’t worth it!

The one towel looked like it was run over by a tire--it had black marks on it. The pillows were not comfortable. The bed was okay not one of the better mattresses I have slept on. Stayed there for convenience. Will not be back unless major renovations are done.

Then told us sheet change days were only three times per week. Which was concerning. We had to make our own bed after obtaining new sheets late that night. Staff was nice but not accommodating

We evacuated here from St. Petersburg for Hurricane Milton. The small staff at this hotel worked day and night for five days taking care of all the evacuees. They did it with Grace and patience and excellent customer service. It was always very easy to find a staff member for help. This may not be a five star luxury hotel, but the customer service and the staff there make it feel like it is. The rooms were extremely clean and so were the grounds. Thank you for everything you all did for everyone! You ALL deserve a raise!!

Easy convenient location, comfortable beds. Got a second floor room facing the pool, and it was fairly quiet. The main lobby reeks of old cigarettes, so that’s a bit unpleasant. The hotel offers free breakfast, which we did not try due to the odor in the lobby. The room was clean, showed some wear and tear, but I could tell they try to keep the place tidy.

location is convenient by 75 and historical downtown Alachua where the Tea Times restaurant is very impressive! the bedding is very good! Hot water is good and AC works well! The cleanness is ok. There are rust in metal parts and the facility overall can use some updates like painting, landscaping etc.

We were on the road side and it was very noisy. But what is unacceptable is the included breakfast. In fact, we arrived at eight o'clock, and contrary to what was indicated when booking, there was almost nothing. 3 slices of sandwich bread, waffles to make, hard-boiled eggs, and cereals. We frequently go to hotels, and this is the first time where there are so few things.

The bed was ok. The room was clean. The towels were thin and small. The breakfast had only sugar choices. No proteins like eggs, meats. It was not diabetic friendly at all. The lady who was serving the breakfast area was very accommodating and kept it clean. It would have been nice to be able to go in and drink coffee in the afternoon.
