Econo Lodge Sebring

the lodge was "worn and unappealing"! the furniture in the room was so old and outdated that it would not have sold at a garage sale for $1. the bathtub took over 1/2 hour to drain after a shower. the blanket on the bed had a cigarette burn in it. one of the lamps next to the bed did not work - because there was no electric outlet to plug it into. cigarette butts on the walkway outside the room entrance. c

Property was quite and easy parking

11/24 Rm 131 roof in the shower was hanging where you can see the wire in the ceiling. The floor was not swept or mopped at all especially under the bed. 11/25 my room was changed to Rm 134 by the pool. After unpacking I went to put water on my face and I notice in the sink looks like someone vomited in the sink and left it dried up hard. I took a picture and went back to the front desk and he asked me what do I want him to do. I told him I’m tired right now and need some sleep but I wanted to bring it to your attention so he told me to tell the guy in the morning who will be working the front desk. Well I tried to get some rest and the room next to me to the right was having a party and the music was so loud til I couldn’t sleep. So I called the front desk and spoke to the young lady and she was nice enough to walk around to the room next door to me and have them turn the music down but they only turned it down a little. I was going to stay another night but the customer service was not good at all because the guy at the desk who I told about the sink he told me sometimes when the room next door flush the toilet it might come up through the sink. If this hotel knows there is an issue with their rooms why rent them out if there is sanitation and hazardous issues and problems. I would like a refund for my 2 nights. The girl say she will send the picture to her boss but no one reached out to me or refunded the money

The easiest way to describe is. Dump! The property is generally in terrible disrepair. The door only worked when it wanted to both from the outside and inside. This is a severe fire risk if you are inside trying to get out. The toilet paper holder was ripped from the wall. When we first walked in there was a bug on of the beds. Breakfast consisted of 2 choices of sugary cereals and one selection of stale muffins. The coffee was not ready at 6am as advertised. The person in the next room smoked pot day and night so we could smell it constantly because there was a big gap at the bottom of the door adjoining the two rooms. We had to reach behind the furniture to plug in the refrigerator. The sink faucet was very noisy and the water pressure in the shower was very weak. The road sign is very faded and difficult to see.

Need nicer snack area & only 1 vending machine & there's nothing in it, plus it's @ least 100° in that room where the ice machine & vending machine are!!! 😕

This hotel was so gross! Thankfully the sheets looked clean but there were bugs all over the room. Spider webs and spiders on the walls and ceiling. Dead bugs all over the floor like they don’t sweep or mop. The only reason we couldn’t cancel was because everything in the area was booked due to the Spartan race. The washer and dryer was not available, the lady on staff said it’s been out of service for a long time. The window and mirror was very dirty. We mopped the floor with the bath towel because it was so dirty and that towel was darn near black!

There are cigarette butts all over the parking lot. People hanging out on the stairs and cars parked in the middle of the parking lot talking to people hanging in their windows. You can hear people talking and yelling outside all through the night. The room was clean but the sink would not drain. It was the cheapest in the area but for good reason.

Front sign needs replaced. Can’t see or read it. Bathroom light falling, toilet seat hinge broken.

This property is due for an overhaul.

This is the most filthy hotel I’ve ever seen. Dust, hair, spiderwebs and cockroaches everywhere. The walls are full of holes. This hotel should be closed for good. I tried to get my money reimbursed but they wouldn’t. If I was hotel.com I would not advertise this hotel to rent it. How dare they charge you that amount of money for one night when this hotel is in that condition. Hotel.com didn’t do good this time because the minute I told them what was going on they should have reimbursed my money.

a mixture of cigarette smell and humidity in the room, the air conditioning only worked for a moment, many bugs, returning to the smell... it was so strong that it caused discomfort in the throat and nose

BED BUGS!!! They came back to Ohio with me and now I need an exterminator for my house. SO sorry I ever stayed here!!!

There was a bunch of hair on my sheets.

The bathtub was extremely dirty, bugs were flying in the room and roaches were crawling on the ceiling. When reported to hotel staff they shrugged their shoulders as to say who cares.

Roaches everywhere in the a/c, couch, bathroom, and even on the tv stand.

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed up the minute I lay down. I was bitten by thousands of bed bugs and had to leave the property and then they were not refund my money. Don’t stay here

Cockroach hotel. They were everywhere. We walked in and right back out.

The tv had static on every channel. The bed was very hard. The floor in the room was sticky. The lighting in the room was terrible. You couldn't even see the whole room with all the lights on. There was only one lock on the door

Tv didn’t work in first room clerk gave a list of codes to try instead of fixing it. Have me another room air conditioner heating unit didn’t work shower water didn’t get hot enough!! Will never stay there or recommend them

It was an ok place to sleep. Great AC and bed was comfortable. Water pressure for shower was below average and temperature of the water was below average. But it’s an ok place to stay.

Roaches in room. Walls like paper compared to competing TVs on either side and a very loud and angry man shouting for 3 hours.

Pulled in and noticed a tweeker rocking back n forth in the parking lot. Checked in. Couldn’t get the room key to open the door. They gave us a different room. We didn’t stay. This is basically a trap house for rent. Please do not be lured in by the price. Pay another $100 and move on.

The room smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke, and the blanket had cigarette burn holes in it. When I came home my family said I smelled like cigarettes and I have never smoked, nor was I around smokers. Additionally, there was an internal deadbolt, but no safety lock/chain, which should be required especially when door access is to the outside.

Bathroom was dirty, hair in the tub and all on the floor, tv was not working properly

The shower had warm water at best...if you let it run. Breakfast was a muffin or cereal.

It was outdated, my doorknob kept falling off it had tape on it to attempt to keep it on

Typical corporate economy setting. No bad , not great. The AC (heater) kept on cycling on/off making sleep difficult.

They charged me twice and did not want to solve the issue right away. Super lazy and rude personnel

they didnt have my reservation and the staff was very rude, she didnt even attempt to help us

The lady at the front desk, excellent customer service, very accommodating great personality and she only been here for a couple days ( not of here name), Awesome job!!!

The shower leaked out into room, the bed was worn out, the guy at checkin was not friendly at all. The pet fee really is a bad idea, my dog is small and cant damage anything, charge the guilty, not the inocent.

Had reservations but arrived and they had one room left which was not the type I reserved. Most everything in the room other than hot water and AC was broken or damaged. Most lights missing bulbs. Only lights in room were one small bed light and bathroom lights. Hotel very neglected, staff friendly but the guests staying there were a mix of prositutes, pot smokers and the rest either had screaming fights all night or played music top volume. Had to sleep and all other hotels were booked so had to deal with it but will not be back. The bed sheets were clean so that was a plus.

This place was cheaper then most in the area, (3 miles). Everything about Econo Lodge was terrible. If your needing to rest, go to another Hotel or find a rest area... 1) Hotel room condition was bad. 2) Hotel service bad.bad. 3) Hotel room Maintenance bad. 4) Hotel check in "EASY" was done online. 5) Hotel check out was "FAST" 6) My over all rating with this is a 1, One is being worst.

no tissue less than half toilet paper, without another roll, had to call one garbage bin, without extra bag no coffee pot exhaust fan in bathroom extremely loud lamp between beds didn't work bathroom tub fills as you shower toilet clogged first night used, used garbage bin to flush room smells like sewer relocated to dirtier room when asked to be moved threatened to vacate property when voiced concerns about second room third room same as first room, had to ask for toilet paper and toiletries. Room smell like mold. breakfast the same each day: mini chocolate muffins, frosted flakes, cheerios, orange juice, coffee In our thirty years of traveling this is the worst hotel we've stayed at.

The pictures seemed nice when I booked the room through Hotels.com. The actual property is full of people living there on vouchers and selling marijuana to both of their income. See the attached pictures to enjoy the filth cockroaches and furniture that should be on the side of the road somewhere. Also there is absolutely nothing available in the morning. No beverages no breakfast nothing. See the picture of the included breakfast at 9 AM. As you can see in the picture in the first half hour I killed three cockroaches and there were people on the ground and on the balconies looking at their phones and smoking marijuana all night long. The police were out front once or twice but it didn’t stop people from parking going to room 132 putting money in the door and leaving with a baggie

Close to shopping and restaurants

Overall I think the econolodge was much nicer than the Highland Co. prison.......loved the test track out front for my pit bike............see ya next lap:) BW

Im just going to say I was glad i brought my gun forvsafety. Kept looking out thecwindow to check my vehicle. Dirty and dilapidated property. Horrible check in. Did not feel welcome at all. Will not be back of course.

It was clean and adequate but needs cosmetic care. Breakfast was very minimal. Bagels were stale! Would’ve been nice to at least see the lake behind it.

I\'ve stayed at this property several times since 2015, the last of which was in 2019. This stay was an absolute nightmare. First, I was given a smoking room in error, which was so filthy. I had them change the room and, although the new room was better, the place was still dirty, with little bugs crawling around in the bathroom. What they had as "breakfast" was a joke - coffee, orange juice, English muffin and some cupcakes - that was it! There were no eggs, no toast, no fruits. The place seems to have turned into a truck stop and I will never stay there again and I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Great breakfast, great location, great staff, great room, excellent pet policy very pet friendly for my cat and dog.

Beds were dirty with stains, room was really dusty, dead cockroaches on the floor, furniture were worn out and sticky, broken blower, outlets dont work, alot of dead bugs everywhere, the breakfast is muffin coffee and cereal.

The shower had warm water at best...if you let it run. Breakfast was a muffin or cereal.
