The staff was very friendly, breakfast was great, pool was great everything within walking distance. Only thing that Is Not clearly stated when reserving a stay there is the parking "fee" listed in the amenities is actually a separate billed valet parking of 20 dollars a day plus taxes and if you dont use this service you have to find alternative parking not at the hotel. I found this deceptive to guests of the hotel. The valets were very friendly and welcoming. Doing their jobs. We stayed 7 nights and each night was priced differently so in the future i wont choose this hotel again.

Details said "parking available" not MANDATORY valet service. If you're going to make it mandatory, add it to the cost of the room. Elevators were slow (when working at all). People got stuck the first night we were there. Made us nervous every time we used them. Usually only 1 was working

Great location right on the beach and surrounded by walkable shoppung and restaurants. You have to use valet service at $20 a day but worth it. The valet staff are amazing. We were pleased they were dealing with parking and keeping our vehicle safe. Great bunch of guys running that valet. Breakfast is perfect. Bar on property is convenient. Nice clean rooms with balconies. Elevator is small but never was an issue. 24/7 desk personnel is a plus. Very friendly. Its a great hotel to stay at especially at the lower price. Theres everything you need right there.

They did not mention that we would have to be paying $20 a day to park to a valet company that sends you a link to your phone. The elevator was broken. The walls were thin. People loud and slamming doors smoking dope and cursing throughout the night. Homeless people picking through the garbage. Staff was friendly and seemed to have to deal with a lot.

For the extra $15 a day they charge to park your car I would have spent the extra money for upscale hotel. It does state this but the wording is misleading. If you’re a guest you shouldn’t have to pay to park at the hotel. Leaving your car there while on a cruise etc I understand. I got there before check in and they said they would call when the room was ready. Never got a call. Signs in the hotel state no smoking, in designated areas only. Well there are no designated areas. So on the beach or out in front by the road with several homeless people hanging out. As a solo traveler I didn’t feel safe walking down that road to get to places. Walk the beach. Breakfast was great. Pool and pool area was dirty. Had ocean view room which had a great view. So for the price it was just ok.

Was a good stay. The only problem was a 15.00 per day for parking, which I had to pay upon arrival. Hotel.com said all fees included, so I felt a took on that charge!

there was no reason they couldn't have had access to beach from pool fixed a year after a hurricane. had to either walk thru a restaurant next door or road access further down. And hoped we were past the "signing out" for pool towels since hotels on same strip do not. And pool had not been cleaned for awhile, pigeons were a problem drinking from and pooing in the water.

This is an excellent property, the location is prime. The pier is visible from the balcony. It was fun to be right on the beach. We were visiting over 4th of July and the fireworks could be seen from the hotel. The pool is a salt water pool. The only parking is valet, so it cost $20.00 a day extra, but the service for getting the car was quick. I will stay at this hotel again.

Pro's Nice view, soft pillows.Good water pressure in shower. Con's sheets had small driplets of blood, bugs stains. Refrigerator did not work. Microwave was dirty. Toothpaste splatters all over kleenex box and mirror. Pubic hairs in shower. Furniture was dirty. Balcony / chairs were dirty. Overall heavy cleaning needed in the room. Commode leaks and would radomly run water to fill. Could hear neighbor's clearly through the walls. Chunks missing out of floor tiles. Used lotion container left on sink. Told desk employee about maintenace issues, didn't even write it down just said ok. For 400.00 plus per night for 1 person, I expected to get a clean room with working a working fridge. Did not use anything else from hotel. Parking was extremely difficult as parking lot is very small. Very tight to get a long vehicle in lot. Also, have to pay 15 plus tax per night to park your vehicle. I feel Extremely Disappointed and Overcharged. Was a tital rip off.

This is my first time doing a hotel room review. The bed room was full a bedbug. I was there with my toddler and my 9 year boy. They did not care about my little one being allergic to insects bites. I will give 0 stars to this hotel. I would not recommend it to anyone.

The overall experience was good but it was a very quiet time of the year. I am sure if it were bike week or races in area it may not have been as quiet. The only “bad” thing we have to say is we were in an ocean side balcony and the sand that blows up on the decks and comes into the rooms is a lot, dirt under foot often! The handrail for the balcony was pretty grimy! Staff were extremely friendly! Food was ok! We thought the beds were very good!

The only drawback to this property is there is a difference that Expedia doesn’t have ocean front rooms listed. The ocean view rooms are just as nice. Those rooms do face a bar. If you’re a light sleeper, you won’t sleep until after closing. If you’re a deep sleeper, you’ll do just fine. I would book there again if I could get an ocean Front room.
The only drawback to this property is there is a difference that Expedia doesn’t have ocean front rooms listed. The ocean view rooms are just as nice. Those rooms do face a bar. If you’re a light sleeper, you won’t sleep until after closing. If you’re a deep sleeper, you’ll do just fine. I would book there again if I could get an ocean Front room.

What a great place to stay. The room was a great size the ocean front view from the balcony was amazing. Really good price and well situated. I do have to mention the noise from the ocean bar next door but we only really heard it one night of our stay so didn't really bother us Great value for money

Motel is OK. Yes I said Motel this place was a motel that has a hotel added to it. Room was OK. The door to the balcony was super sticky, you had to really pull on it to get it closed and push your weight against it to open it. The elevator was broken most of the time. The breakfast was an ok selection, but made from very cheap ingredients. Got sick from eating the scrambled eggs. They looked like eggs but tasted like old watered down egg beaters. The staff at the front desk were super friendly and helpful, They get 10 stars. Was not at all happy about the valet only parking. Had to register through an online app and use the app to get and put my car. Valet attendants were very helpful and friendly. But just hated the app thing. The valet parking was 20.00 a day before any tips. Whether you used your car or not. The motel was also very dated. All in all I will likely not stay there again or recommend them to anyone else. Place needs a major remodel and a complete overhaul of the valet parking thing.

Our room was nice with a very good view. We could watch the slingshot and Fireworks from our room. Toiletries were provided and greatly appreciated. The only real negative for us was no WIFI in our room. That was a real downer for us. We were stuck trying to use our phones for the whole week. Would have been nice if they had offered a different room because of this. The hotel is very convenient for walking to just about anything you would want or need. Overall I would definitely consider staying there again.

Front Desk, Valets, Bar were excellent 10/10 the issue I’m having is with house keeping. Checked in on the 8th and out on the 13th, not one time did they change towels or empty the trash in fact I had to ask them where to put the trash and dirty towels housekeeping 4/10. Hotels needs to Say on their page it $20 a day for valet parking

upon arrival, Jeff or Jeffrey checked us in. He was the most condescending, unhelpful and arrogant human I\'ve ever come across. They had multiple bookings that were beyond my knowledge and he steadily would rolled his eyes and tell me that "it was my problem, you\'ll just have to pay the fees and expedia would have to handle it". Would not tell me any itinerary numbers, would not assist to figure out the booking issues, and acted like I was a complete waste of his time. He snatched my credit card and began to run it without explaining what he was about to charge. This was a problem as the room had been paid for upfront and I did not have a car attached to this room. When I asked for my card back he yelled at me saying he was charging me for parking and placing a hold on the account. He would not allow me to explain WE HAD NO CAR. I had to ask for a manager and he tried to stay next to her to continue his escapade of horrible attitude and eye rolls. Really started a family vacation off wrong. HORRIBLE customer service. Horrific experience. There is a bar on one side of the hotel that gets rowdy at night, so if you have littles, ask to stay on the left side of the hotel. They have a parking fee of $15.99 a night but not enough parking spaces to accommodate every customer. So, you have to pay their parking fee and $30/night to park across the street in an off site lot. The 3 other rooms we had at this hotel that had cars had to pay this. Subpar truly.

The front desk service was amazing! There was a problem with my room and the night worker had no problem fixing it immediately. She learned our names and helped out with any and everything we needed. Night maintenance was very friendly and helpful as well. The first room had a leak, the second had wash clothes left hanging on the shower rod, but there was clean linen and washcloths available. Overall the experience was great minus the minor hiccups which were resolved immediately with a room change or cleaning service. The breakfast was decent as well.

Property is dated. Rooms are ok but housekeeping never showed up for 3 days. Had to call desk for clean towels only to be told we only come in to service every three days. So I guess your limited to those two towels in the bathroom for three days... Television was not working. Unable to use due to a previous guest leaving there log in info in the TV and maintance had no idea how to delete it so we were limited to the things that were down loaded by the previous person By the way no Cable TV all apps Hulu, netflix etc Could not even get a single local channel to see the news or weather. Breakfast was scant . Eggs that were rubbery one day there were at least muffins but the following three days just danish that tasted like they were previously frozen . no bagels, english muffins etc. Ice maker on our floor was broken . I informed the desk/housekeeping but nothing was done until the last night of our 4 day stay. But the final straw was the two men from the bar next door fist fighting in the parking lot. Spoke with the front desk manager when I checked out about it and she stated the police took a hour and a half to respond. I was glad to be leaving

My check-in time was at 4pm, I arrived at 5:30pm and had to wait about 30 minutes before my room was cleaned. The receptionist wasn't too friendly. And I don't understand why they charge you $15 per night parking. The bed were comfortable and the room was decent. Though, it leaked from the ceiling in shower while using the shower.

You had to request for your room to be cleaned. I asked on 4/16 for towels for our bathroom and my sons. I ended up going for towels. Asked for room to be cleaned. It was marked in the book and room 412/414. I asked Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday room to be cleaned and towels. Finally on Thursday night lady came to change the sheets and give both rooms towels.

Great lower cost option to stay on Daytona Beach. Beach access right out the back door and only about 5 minutes to the boardwalk. I wish I could give the staff 6 stars the check in was spot on and the guy working was a character

Good location for dining, shopping, etc. Room was oceanfront, and we could listen to the sounds of the ocean. Boardwalk was a 5 minute walk. Beach was very clean and peaceful. So many shops within walking distance.

This was our first time staying at a hotel in Daytona and we chose this hotel for our one night stay because it was close to the Ocean center where our daughter had a cheer competition the following morning. We were placed in a room right next door to what we thought was a normal restaurant with a bar but by bedtime we realized that the bar was playing very loud music and even though we had a white noise machine, a fan, and the AC fan on continuous, we could still hear the bass from the bar's music which kept us awake. After an hour and a half I went downstairs to ask the man working in the lobby how late this music was going to continue playing and he told me 1:30am. This was upsetting since we needed to be up at 6am to get ready for the competition. It was too cold for the beach or the pool so we just needed a place to sleep and we were unable to do so. In the morning the manager was friendly and apologized and gave us a refund of about 20% of what we paid. She told me we should come again and try the north end because we shouldn't be able to hear the bar on that side but I'm not sure I'm willing to risk spending a few hundred dollars and not being able to sleep again.

Downtown Daytona is…ghetto. Not what I expected- and not for that price. Literally flooded with drug addiction and homelessness. We went down the boardwalk once when we got there at night- never again! We didn’t go anywhere downtown at night due to people asking for money and walking around messed up on something. People were walking through the hotel from the beach all day (NOT guests) the common areas were not kept locked. We went in May, so I can’t imagine during Spring Break or a holiday.The paint was chipping everywhere. The outside stairs to the beach were missing a step. Lots of garbage right around the property. For the price, do better. The breakfast was mediocre at best. They had waffles to make and NO syrup. The front desk was friendly, but the rest of the staff couldn’t care less about guests. The parking was full constantly at night and not secure. The property is right next to a popular bar, so if you’re looking for a quiet evening in your room- this is not it. The hotel bar was barely open, so if you did want a beverage, you had to go elsewhere. The boardwalk is a joke. 3 stores that all sell the same items and one arcade that overcharges for a game. There was police presence one night when a popular band was playing, but not any other time and there definitely needed to be. The entire area is run down and every shop or restaurant is not even close to being something decent. Pros- the coffee was good and they had lemon water available (until it ran out).

This (as other Comforts) has been our go to place for years of travel, b.u.t.. somehow the breakfast here has diminished - below Comfort standards! As one patron said to me, "it's okay"! But 'okay' is not a word I would ever have assiciate with any of the Comforts we go to! Everything else we experienced was top notch... from the pool man, maintenance, right up to chk in/out. Please note this is not a bad review on the facilities, we'll still use this Comfort, even if the breakfast is "okay"!!!

We were very happy with our stay at the Comfort Inn. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean and came with a safe, refrigerator, a nice TV, and a large balcony with great ocean views. The property had an oceanfront pool, a bar, a grab-and-go mart, on-site parking, and a complimentary breakfast including eggs, sausage, waffles, tater tots, biscuits and gravy, coffee, muffins, and juices. The boardwalk, pier, and Ocean Center were a couple/few blocks away, and there were restaurants a stone's throw away. The music coming from the restaurant next door can be a little loud at night, but we're right in the middle of the action.

3rd time staying, we arrived early and rooms were ready and we were able to go ahead and check-in. Pool was clean. Convenient close to stores, restaurant, pier and beach. Amazing views from balcony in the front and back. Breakfast is the basics but good. Will stay here as long as it stays the same

Great location right on the beach and surrounded by walkable shoppung and restaurants. You have to use valet service at $20 a day but worth it. The valet staff are amazing. We were pleased they were dealing with parking and keeping our vehicle safe. Great bunch of guys running that valet. Breakfast is perfect. Bar on property is convenient. Nice clean rooms with balconies. Elevator is small but never was an issue. 24/7 desk personnel is a plus. Very friendly. Its a great hotel to stay at especially at the lower price. Theres everything you need right there.

We arrived a couple hours prior to check in and were given a room that was not what we had reserved. Vinnie at the desk was great and put us in a room that was more satisfactory, even though the shower stall rather worn with cracks everywhere.The only other issues was housekeeping came while we were out and took our dirty towels but didn’t replace anything. The other thing was breakfast was terrible. The only thing edible was the cereal and toast. The biscuits for the gravy were across the room from everything else and was frozen. The waffle syrup was a commercial brand that wasn’t even sweet. My husband and I were visiting for our 28 th anniversary and were sorely disappointed. The beach and surrounding area was fantastic we just found the hotel itself lacking.

Stay here all the time. I like the convenience of being able to walk to things. Staff is always nice. Rooms clean. Parking is tight. Breakfast is good. Plenty to choose from. Can’t beat the ocean view from the balcony. Beautiful.

The room the view was really nice the staff was generally really friendly issue getting towels but no big deal on that breakfast was phenomenal but the dinner bar was closed disappointed but everything else was pretty much good

The weather was great. Hotel was super clean and room was nice. I highly recommend staying in this hotel. This is my 3rd time at this property. Conveniently next to the beautiful beach and a short walk to pier and other attractions and restaurants. Our favorite place to stay while in Daytona.
