The photos, of this property, are false advertising. It listed having a pool but there wasnt one. There were ants and the carpet was filthy. The motel was inexpensive....except for $50 + taxes, and now i know why.

The pool is gone. But, they do accept pets! The price is so reasonable and the location for a mid trip stop is perfect. This is no glam, hotel. Family run. A bit dated. Tv, ac, fridge, hot water, all working. Comfy beds.

You get what you pay for and I was t expecting a 5 star hotel, just needed an inexpensive place to sleep, but the place is not well maintained. The curtain in my window was loosely hanging and could barely cover my window for privacy, the shower plumbing was all loose and it was difficult to turn on the water because of this. The outside of the place was a mess. The entrance in was full of potholes, I’m glad I didn’t pay thier full rate. It is in close proximity to 3 restaurants however so easy to get food

Let me be honest! I stayed for three days, and what i noticed was that the staff are nice,friendly and welcome you with a smile and the rooms are clean with nice fitted sheets and towels and calm atmosphere and free parking lot. Its a budget hotel with in your reach and you have fast food close by and also its with in the hub of other hotels surrounding and close to free way. What more to expect for the price we pay

There was a truly awful smell, in the office and in the room. The clerks did not speak to me except to ask me for my ID. No instructions, just handed me a paper to sign and my room key card. The entire property was run down, and felt unsafe. The room also had a number of insects in it. It was dirty, from the walls, to the carpet, every surface looked to have a latyer of grime, even the doors. We were exhausted after traveling, so bought insecticide and air fresheners and took out chances for the night. Around 2:30 in the morning, we were both awakened by a commotion outside our door- someone yelling, throwing things. We left first thing in the morning and cancelled the rest of our reservation.

Property was, not at all, what was shown on EXPEDIA. There were broken down cars in several of the parking spaces. They used cement blocks as part of their landscaping. Further, there were numerous potholes in the parking lot. The OLD sign for SUNRISE INN, is still up; and, only a tarp above the front office reflect the TraveLodge name.

The hotel room was extremely dirty with cockroach droppings everywhere. The bathroom was moldy and the carpet was extremely dirty. The bed had hairs and the sheets were wrinkled. I was offered another room that was not much better. So I had to make another reservation for a nearby hotel. I asked for a refund and i was told I would get it. It's been 3 days since I checked in and I haven't received the refund.

Disgusting. Walls were falling apart. Door was so gapped you could see outside with it locked. Heat took an hour to warm up. (930pm @ 34° outside) bathroom door didn’t latch. Walls were so cracked you can feel the air blowing thru into your face. Dogs barking all night. Hard uncomfortable beds. Pillow case on pillow had what looked like blood on it. Bed had someone’s hair embedded into the blankets. Nasty food crumbs and garbage behind the beds on the floor. Couldn’t wait to leave.

This property was in absolute terrible condition. I walked into the room and was instantly assaulted by the smell of sweat. I walked into the bathroom and the toilet had visible poop stains on the seat. The floor and bathtub were filled with dirt and grime. Dirty towels were the only ones available. There was only an empty soap wrapper for amenities. The wallpaper was peeing and dirty. The smoke alarm was on the dresser with the batteries out. This place was deplorable.

The worse experience at an inn. The place is a complete mess. The wall paper is falling of the wass all over the room, the carpet is so dirty when I stepped into the tub black water came out from under my feet, the bathroom door frame is falling off the wall, holes in the bathroom door. When I closed the front door I was still able to see outside from the spaces between the door and the door frame. I couldn't sleep I was so uncomfortable. I should be compensated for this.

Very polite folks working at the registration desk. Efficient. It is obvious that effort has been made to improve the condition of the property, but there is still a lot more work to be done. There was no secondary security lock on the entrance door (it had been pulled off). The shower curtain was covered with black mold. The television worked and the AC unit worked perfectly.

Not the nicest place to stay. Property is in need of a lot of improvement and is pretty rough. Not a great place for families. Room was old and outdated. The only decent area was the overly small bathroom which was the cleanest part of the room. There is aTV with DISH so it got a good number of channels. The WiFi worked except in the last day. It is a cheap rate so sometimes you get what you pay for, although I will not make the same mistake twice. The front desk staff was polite.

There were many safety issues to which I will notify the state of Maryland about. No smoke detector, deadbolt on the door didn't work properly, only hot water in the shower, no telephone hooked up. And then there was a list of other things that I previously mentioned that were inconveniences

The room is spacious,could use an little sprucing up in the bathroom area,the bed is comfortable,nice television,could use some local channels 😁, wouldn't mind coming back again one day...slept comfortably until the SUNRISE 😂😂😂

The bolt lock on our door was broken so when put a chair in front of it. The floor was dirty but the sheets seemed clean. The staff stared at me when I checked in and out. They didn't smile and I felt uncomfortable.

Great location, kinda noisy at night. But just needed a place to crash overnight. It’s an older property but served it’s purpose. Sheets were clean nice wooded floors but dirty. You get what you pay for and for 67$ it works.

Room was disgusting. Lobby smelled horrible. I got charged a second time when checking in. Long pre check in process was not used. Front desk did not seem to know how to handle check in. Wall paper falling ofd the walls. Bathroom stained and discolored. Floor creeky and feels like you will fall through.

Horrible Property Booked drove an hr to be told we don’t have a room. Then gave the run around for 2 hrs All to end up with no room at this property or the other one they tried to pon us off on. Trash service never stay here

Needed to stay for a few days for a job in the area. Was good for me - dunkin donuts right next to it for breakfast, walk to Cracker Barrel for dinner. The area was unsafe. The property had rooms emptied into the parking lot for renovation? Apparently illegal activity is a problem in this area and in the parking lot.

You get what you pay for tbh. I mean its like 50ish$ a night, the ac unit was working good, shower, tv, bed. Its good that its walking distance to dunkin, kfc, and a couple of other places. If you want something thats just to stay for a night or 2 with budgeting, its good.

This is definitely a hotel to avoid if you have a family or kids. Looks like people live there on a 1 night at a time basis. Car stereo parties spilling out into the parking area, some doors tagged with graffiti, and a general feeling that if you look at someone too long you'll get into a fight or worse. Hotel employee couldn't locate my Expedia booking so just handed me back my ID and basically said goodbye. The helper came in and managed to find it but then gave me a 1 bed room when I had booked a 2 bed. Turned out to be a blessing as the first room stank of cigarettes and ironically I had to pay $25 extra for a non-smoking room in case I smoked in it... that was refunded at checkout, but seemed to be a very strange policy. Stick to the nearby Elkton Lodge or Motel 6 if you don't want to worry about your hubcaps being stolen while you sleep.

The room smell like cigarette smoke, thay had mold or dark stains in the bathroom, the WI-FI kept going in & out. The door didn't close tight, the same door had a gap in the top & on the side where door lock was. Over all it was ok for the price. It was close to several restaurants. The owner was nice & friendly.

I’m not one to write bad reviews but I felt I needed to this time. The inn is badly out of date and in great need of cleaning up. It appeared to be a permanent residence for some. I was stuck at the back of the property basically by myself, except for the 2 large dumpsters in the parking lot. There was trash strewn everywhere. The room needed a thorough cleaning. It appeared as the carpets hadn’t even been vacuumed in a while and there was a lot of hair from previous people still on the shower wall. The phone and the remote in the room were not working. I asked the front desk and they said they would send maintenance to take care of it. I never saw them. They only offered coffee in the morning but not any healthy sugar substitutes were available.
