Courtyard by Marriott Orlando Lake Mary North

It was convenient with access to food shopping and my daughter. I did not like. We were there to move her and really would have loved the jacuzzi whirlpool which was broken and the same temp as the pool! Also the laundry washer was broken. We understood the two day housekeeping but the day we were due we left early, I took the do not disturb sign off our door. When we returned, the do not disturb sign was on the door and the room was not clean. Trash full, no new towels. We returned late so they could t help us. Disappointing!

Elevator continually broke down. Left us stranded inside.

The whole front of the building building is under remodel, so it is an eyesore and parking is very limited due to construction equipment, taking up most of the parking

Staff was great! No Bar, Pool was ice cold, and the hot tub did not work.

Place is old. Bedding is old. Bathrooms are old. Lobby was under construction which wasn’t mentioned at booking. Patio area is dirty

The pool water was filthy, not enjoyable at all.. the hot tub did not work the Jets did not pump..

The check-in process was friendly and thorough. The front desk staff followed up after we'd reached our room to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We also enjoyed the pool on a hot Florida afternoon.

Let me start by saying the staff was excellent, very nice and helpful. However, the hotel itself left much to be desired. The hallway carpet was dirty and your feet stuck to it when walking. While the room was very clean, it smelled very musty and everything felt damp. By the end of my week stay all my paperwork and clothes were damp and musty smelling as well. The hot tub was closed by the health department the first day of my stay and the pool was cloudy and dirty. The restaurant is just a frozen fast food place, and there is no one available to take your order. There is a bell to ring for service, but it doesn't work and you have to go to the front desk of the hotel for them to find someone to help you. This was just not the Marriott experience I am used to. I travel often, at least 6 times a year for a week each time and have stayed at many Marriott hotels, this one unfortunately did not live up to the Marriott name,

The good aspects of this stay is that it was clean and the staff was extremely friendly and willing to help. It is also conveniently located off the highway and next to a grocery store. That was greatly appreciated! However, take note that all rooms do not have the small balconies. I was a little disappointed that we didn't have one (I like having outside access/air). The rooms we were in could use some updates. We had a few minor issues (we couldn't get the plug-in to work in our bathroom and the water was not as hot as we normally like it). The hot tub was also not very hot (about the same temperature as the pool) but maybe not necessary when staying in June! Overall it was a clean and convenient stay.

Everything was wonderful till we got stuck on the elevator.

The rooms did not smell good. The carpet smelled line urine. The place was not clean. The beds were very small. The options for food were almost not existent. The bathrooms were dirty and were not clean. House keeping was spotty. bugs were coming into the room

The humidity smell in the hallway and room is terrible

This was a great location etc and thought it would be a 5/5 until I looked in the tub. Would you sit or put your child in this tub ( see attached pics). Cmon Marriott you’re better than this

Excellent front counter help. Room looks clean and straightened out, but there is a slight (faint) smell of mildew.

First off my room seemed great when I arrived however after settling in I noticed the shampoo dispenser was in the tub/shower it fell off and apparently this is a known problem it seems the adhesive is not sticky enough! Second my shower faucet wouldn’t turn off completely. Third I purchased a Breakfast w/ my hotel yet the morning manager couldn’t find it or give me the coupon I needed. I told the food manager on duty and she waived it both times supposedly. On the plus side my view was spectacular, the patio view was amazing!

Room 219, Executive King, show pressure was at the very best a trickle, there was a considerable amount of mold on the tiles in the shower. I did not speak with anyone at the hotel regarding this as I was there one day and did not discover these issues until I was getting ready to leave for a meeting. Huge gap under the door illuminated the room at night, and allow a great deal of noise to pass into the room thru from the hallway. For a Marriot property, this particular room was in rough shape. The hotel in general appearance is good, Lobby and Lounge are also well kept. Hopefully this room is schedule for a revamp soon.

Caden, the front desk clerk, was incredibly gracious, as were the staff at the café—both provided excellent service. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. We had reserved a king suite with a pull-out couch intended to sleep two, but the pull-out was more like an extended twin. The couch was visibly dirty, and when we opened it, the mattress was lumpy and the frame couldn’t support any weight. We ended up folding it back in and covering it with sheets because we didn’t even feel comfortable sitting on it. The carpet had a musty odor, and we didn’t want to walk on it barefoot. I reported the issues to Caden, who kindly offered to move us to another room. However, the second room was just as subpar. I would not recommend a stay here, unless there was a remodel project.

Wonderful stay. Very close to multiple things. Clean, friendly staff and spacious rooms. Love the balcony.

Hotel rooms need updating Old smell in rooms

The property was ok but the room was terrible dirty and definitely needs repairs the bathroom was horrible for a mariott brand hotel it was horrendous for the money The TV didn't work for the entire stay and the staff didn't do anything at all to accommodate the guest

Very nice room except the bed was caved in in the center, so not so good.

Awesome staff

Well, I booked this room through Expedia. I realized that we would be checking in later then I had anticipated, so I reached out to the hotel, I was told it would be no issue. I proceeded to ask if I could confirm the room etc..., It was a king bed and the room had a balcony with pool view. The receptionist proceeded to say sorry you have a regular room. I didn't understand if it clearly states on my reservation room/balcony. I ask if that could be fixed and she said no, that I had to contact Expedia since a reserved through a 3rd party vendor. I did, Expedia called them and credited me for the upcharge. I get there the balcony was like a hole in the wall and the view was over the garage dumpster. Next morning, making coffee, there were not coffee cardboard cups, it was plastic, as I went to get the coffee, it almost melted in my hands because that wasn't a HOT CUP. I asked the front desk if I could have a coffee cup, "we don't have", so I walked over to the "BISTRO" area and sure there was coffee cups. We were made to feel like 2nd class citizens because our reservations was made through a 3rd party vendor. Front desk didn't seem like they cared to be there, it was just a pay check. Very sad but I will never go back or recommend it. Oh and the towels in the room all seemed damp, they weren't completed dried. Didn't ask for more I was afraid of what I would get.

I stayed at this location for a work trip. It was conveniently off the freeway and very clean and comfortable. I arrived late (midnight) and William at the front desk was so courteous, he definitely made my day great after a long evening of travel.

It was clean. Also the clerks at the front desk were very helpful at changing our room at last minute. Great service.

I’m sad to share a review like this but I need to share the experience we had in this hotel last Saturday, May 20. We arrived at the hotel between 5 to 6am after a delay of 5 hrs in our flight. My husband called from the airportand informed about the delay and an employee , Latoya,told him that she was taking notes. She treated us very well and kind. When we arrived the employee at that time was Janelle. We tried to check-in but she informed us that there was only 1 reservation for 1 room and 1 day. We told her that we did the reservation since March and that we reserved 2 rooms that we prepaid for everything thru Expedia. I had the confirmation number for the 2 reservations. All the time she was unkind, disrespectful and showed no consideration for us. She told us that she was going to call Expedia but after 1 hour I decided to call Expedia by myself and informed the situation. The person from Expedia confirmed to me that we had 2 rooms and they had the hotel confirmation number. Using my cellphone, Janelle talked with Expedia as per the Expedia’s associate request.Janelle was also disrespectful and unkind with them. This was not the first time we were going to stay on this hotel. We stayed 4 to 5 times in the past as we had relatives that lives in the area. But definitely this was the worst experience we have had in an hotel. At some point I thought we were trying to check-in in a motel or a lower category hotel. Expedia worked to relocate us in another hotel.

The young lady who checked me in was friendly and welcoming. I asked for a vacuum or broom to clean my bathroom floor and she was kind enough to accommodate, although she tried many times to change me to a clean room. The girl at the desk in the morning was curt and not friendly at all.

No staff at later hours at night, only 1 person, if something is needed we have to walk to the front desk. Rooms need some cosmetic maintenance. My coffee maker was dirty. Luckily the guy at the front was really helpful and nice

Nice hotel but don’t book through Expedia they charge you an extra $18 for Complimentary breakfast

Location: Great location near highway. Its the part of International Drive that does NOT have the crazy traffic congestion. - Room: Bed & pillow was very comfortable clean. Toilet kept flowing, took off lid & made adjustment. - not your usual Marriott, but this is Orlando & all hotels here have that little need of "TLC". Pre-Paid Breakfast: DO NOT take it! It was a Bagel & Orange Juice ONLY. They tied offering an alternative of an individual box of cereal or a yoghurt. You're better off ordering from the regular menu for a couple of $ more. The order to take to room was each in a paper cardboard box & no plates. So if not in a hurry, sit downstairs and enjoy a proper meal. They are extremely slow to make an order, so be patient. Overall: Good stay for business, couple & family.

Bathroom was dirty. Shower curtain didn’t fit, too small. No option for food. Very disappointed.

Not clean. No ABC or NBC No coffee station for guest.

Room was not ready on check in. Member was in training, so longer delay to find out the room was in fact ready just not listed as such in their system. Finally got checked in. Charged for coffee from the lobby machine ;-(

Good stay with nice small restaurant

Dated hotel… needs a LOT of maintenance… bathtub was disgusting. No one came to clean my room nor changed towels.. and yes, there were no sign on the door. Overpriced “breakfast” with super slow service. Stay away from this place
