La habitación con peste a humedad debido a que no limpiam ni cambian los filtros del aire,el servicio de limpieza de habitaciones es malo tienes que pedir que te pongan papel de baño, al hotel le falta recreación, en las noches es aburrido y de día en la piscina no ponen música, es aburrido,en fin no me gustó hay otros lugares mejores y muy caro todo

This resort was absolutely beautiful!! The pool was amazing, a resort style pool. The resort had its own private beach area and a dock. Had plenty of seating everywhere, many cool sitting areas around the property. The only negative thing I could say is that the staff didn’t pick up trash and towels around the pool which seemed odd and it was off season so it wasn’t busy. It’s such a beautiful resort that I would think that would be a priority to keep it clean. Another cool thing is that they have a water taxi and shuttle to their 2 sister resorts which you can utilize all of those amenities as well. They also included bike rentals, paddle boards and kayaking on site which is convenient. You can also bring your private boat there and leave it at the dock for a fee. I would absolutely stay there again!

We moved here last minute from a grimey hotel down the street, so we had to settle for a small room next to the elevator w a parking lot view, but it was still really nice. We’ve stayed here before, in a bigger room w a water view, and it was awesome. Will definitely stay there again. Only con is the shuttle they offered… the pickup time kept getting pushed off to the point where we finally just called an Uber and it was there in 2 minutes. They need more shuttles going at once.

Our stay at Amara Cay Resort was not as expected. The location was nice, and the personnel friendly. However, there were several areas that could use significant improvement, especially considering the price. My biggest concern was the pool area. There was no personnel supervising the pool, and I saw several guests getting into the pool wearing dirty sandals. I also saw a large dog sitting on a pool chair, and later its owner used one of the pool towels provided for guests to dry the dog. This is a major sanitary oversight, and after seeing this, I did not feel comfortable getting into the pool or using the towels. There isn't much of a beach, and it could use better cleaning and maintenance. The water was only ankle-deep, making it impossible to swim, and there was also a significant amount of sargassum. I think the resort could do a much better job maintaining, cleaning and improving the beach. If you're looking for a peaceful stay, be aware that there is live music near the rooms facing the pool from approximately 6–10 PM. The noise was disruptive and made it difficult to relax or sleep. After complaining, the staff moved us to a room facing the sea, where the sound did not travel as much. The other room option appeared to be facing a parking lot, which was unacceptable. We did not eat at the hotel, so I can't comment on it. Amara Cay was not the escape we were hoping for, and the resort experience left us feeling that there is significant room for improvement.
