We often stay at the Gaylord because it offers activities for the whole family. My 8 year old likes the kid’s pool, and my husband and 13 year old son like the Flow Rider. So imagine our disappointment when we got there and found out that both the kid’s pool and the Flow Rider were under renovation. Why close both attractions together? They should have some kind of disclaimer for these situations because had we known that, we wouldn’t have booked this hotel.

Stunning and exceptional. Massive hotel with gorgeous garden atrium for an ejoyable discovery stroll, with alligators, turtles and coi fish to see as well. A mid sized waterpark with a lazy river that kept the kids happy. Impeccably clean and courteous staff. Only negatives for us were slow elevators, a non- functioning bathroom vent fan, and steep priced food.

Dont bother paying for chairs at the pool. We payed for premium seating for 3 days and every day we noticed people sitting in reserved seating without paying for it, they issue rist bands and the people didn't have the wrist bands which were white. big waste of money if you ask me

The property and staff are great! Now the cons: The price is not the price. Be ready to double your rate with every kind of fee they can throw at you. Water park is always closed. Common area is beautiful, but half of it was closed for a private party. Just feels like we paid full price for limited access. We will still give it another try. It’s a nice place.

Its a beautiful resort. Luxurious and at the same time great for children. My kids 5 and 10 year olds loved the waterpark and pools, they had a blast. The hotel is super clean and staff is super friendly.

Kids enjoyed our stay, Hotel is beautiful, we enjoyed water park. We also ate at the breakfast buffet which was good. The concerned we had was, our bed had bed bugs. Talked to the manager to raise my concerned and a lady from forgot who she was, she said she sent someone to check on the room and of course she told me there was no bed bugs. I had bites on my chest, my back and my arms. I knew it was from the bed bugs on that Hotel because 1) I never had that bites before our stay 2) the bites are traces- looked like tracks. Other than that it was an enjoyable stay.

it only takes one bad experience to drive people away. This is our third visit, and i am pretty disappointed at the quality/cleanliness of our room this time. The carpet had bubble gum stuck to it, looked very very old. Furnitures had dusty legs/feet, so cleaning crews didn't do a very good job. The safety bar in the shower had a ring that was loose, and there was moldy stuff underneath it. Is it not habitable? no, but i didn't get a very clean vibe from this particular stay, and once you see the dirtiness of the room, you start tiptoing around the room. I kept my flip flops on the whole time because i didn't feel that it was clean enough. I should have asked for a new room, but our stuff was already all open, laid out and organized, so i didn't bother. Emerald bay room 4432 is where we stayed.

Bathroom shower was not cleaned properly. There was human hairs on the shower walls. Balcony door is locked and can't be opened. This room was booked with "view", but horrible with useless balcony decorative bulky stone rail. You can hear sounds coming from outdoor wedding reception, next door neighbors, and late night restaurant chair sounds and music. HORRIBLE!

One thing that really stood out for me was the staff that maintain the rooms. There was always a presence and it shows, the carpets in the hallways were spotless everywhere gave the impression of everything being maintained.

Lovely property within small uber or share ride distance to all the Disney parks. Early enough in the season to not be overwhelmed with crowds but no enforced quiet times and atrium facing rooms get the full blast of kids wheeling around and screaming until 2 a.m. it’s a resort so be prepared to pay a premium for everything. Lots of cheaper delivery options but no delivery to rooms. Pool area clean with good spaces for adults and kids. If you’re not aware of Florida water bring plenty of bottled water, even for brushing teeth.

My wife and I live i Kissimmee, and decided to get away fror a night to celebrate our 33rd anniversary. There were lots of hotels to choose from, and every one of them was cheaper than Gaylord - most of them significantly cheaper. I decided to spend the extra money and take a chance, and we are EXTREMELY happy that we did! When we first walked in, we were absolutely blown away at the shear size.it was awe inspiring. Every single aspect of our stay was just incredible. Check in was smooth and the young man that helped us was swift, friendly, and efficient. Once we got to our room ( we got the atrium view) we were incredibly impressed. The best way I could describe the cleanliness level of the room would be to describe it as "military" clean. Every nook, cranny and corner was absolutely impeccable. The view from the balcony was stunning. There are several restaurants on site as well as ice cream, Starbucks, Jamba, a spa, an arcade and shops. We didnt do any swimming, but the pools and water park were just as clean and just as impressive. The bed was firm and comfortable and even the pillows (which are always a crap shoot at hotels) were comfy. The 60 inch tv was perfect for watching a movie while we enjoyed our snacks dropped off by room service. If I was forced to come up with any feedback, the balcony could be a tad bigger. Our overall experience was a 10 out of 10.

Great place! Would love to come again. The only downfall was when I’d watch tv at night the reception would go in and out and the tv would go black for a bit. Might have just been the time of day? Other than that, a great place!

The entire building appears to be mostly renovated and looks great. The problem is its too loud and too crowded plus they nickel and dime you every chance you get. $45 for resort fee, $52 for valet parking ($40 something for self-parking), $45 per person to reserve a chair at the pool. They had multiple events and weddings happening simultaneously and their was a long line for everything - coffee, food, pool, etc. The wedding was held in the atrium and was so LOUD it could be heard non-stop in the rooms. It was disturbingly loud. I won't stay here again. Not a good value for the money when al is said and done.

Hotel and staff were awesome, rooms are clean and spacious. My only complaint was the bed was really uncomfortable, it had a big sink right in the middle like a 400lb guy had slept in it for a year. They need to check the mattresses every so often.

We have stayed at this property several times before. This time the staff were pretty rude and our room view left a lot to be desired. The view was facing all the roofs. We brought this to the attention of the Front end help and she was extremely rude and said that she didn't care as the rooms were selling like hot cakes. We will never stay at this property ever again.

I was so disappointed. I have enjoyed stays at Gaylord properties before and after this stay, I will not come back to the Orlando property. I came with my kids along with a friend and her kids for spring break. So many little things wrong: * No microwave in the room and the Market is the only place on the property that has the one microwave, but it closes at 10p! My daughter got sick and needed some tea but I couldn’t get hot water. * Outdoor bar closes so early, doesn’t encourage anyone to stay late and hang out past dinnertime * Not enough servers at the pool; and they don’t come around at pool very often, even forgot our orders/requests more than twice. * Ran out of Icee for kids at the pool at 12p on Sat, the busiest day * Not allergy friendly - Diff ingredients of the same food at the pool and the one kid-friendly restaurant, Wreckers * No activities during week for kids to enjoy * Slides/river closes early * Never enough cups at water station at the pool * Vending machines in our tower were out of order so had to walk all around trying to find something cold to drink * Wreckers food takes so long to come out. We were there late at 10p and it wasn’t even crowded but food still took long to come out.

I had to make a last minute switch in my accommodations (literally within a 30min. window of time). And they were able to accommodate me. Service upon check in to check out was wonderful. They understood I was not there for vacation and accommodated my needs as such. Property staff was extremely helpful from the concierge, to parking attendant, to food delivery. Everyone was extremely friendly and made me feel welcomed.

Ive stayed at the Gaylord a few times now while my daughter was in Orlando for a cheerleading competition at ESPN. This resort customer service is beyond 5 stars and so accommodating. It has so many great offers such as the pool restaurants etc. I also love that it is not inundated with teams while there for competitions. I will be back next season.

I've stayed at Gaylord with my wife multiple times and always had an amazing time, but was completely disappointed this last trip. I took my wife for her birthday and some time away from our kids, got a sitter, and payed extra for an atrium view room to overlook the Christmas lights and music. WELP, when we arrived I was placed in the Everglades wing, which overlooks a restaurant and boardwalk, and is competely separated from the MAIN atrium. Couldnt even hear the music or see ANY Christmas lights except for hanging trees. We took it in stride and figured it would just require us to do more sight seeing. On night number two, a family was placed next to us (rooms had a connecting pass through door), and their baby woke us up screaming at midnight, 2am, 4am, and 6am. I marched down to speak to a manager to express my frustration and was dismissed. The first manager offered to and did refund our parking and a dinner check, but for the price I paid for a night (over 500) it wasnt acceptable. I spoke to a 2nd manager and she basically stared at me with zero empathy or concern. What was supposed to be a romantic celebration was extremely disappointing. The atrium price should differ and be clear at booking and confirmation. Deceptive, and our last visit to Gaylord.

Pool side it’s like they needed more help. Valet didn’t have any urgency. You pay this much to stay here and pay extra $50 for valet, you should be able to call down and have them get your car. Twice was sent to voice message saying we are to busy, just bring ticket to valet and we will get your vehicle. We do exactly as said and they have valet people standing around in circle chatting among themselves and cars piling up. No urgency no organization to who’s doing what. Side of these 2 things, it is a beautiful place to go, just was disappointed in the first people we see and the last people we see. Also the care at pool side.

Very nice clean ,family friendly atmosphere ,loved that there are designated areas away from the resort for smokers,I hate the smell of cigarette and vapes so I was very happy that my kids and I didn’t have to deal with the unpleasant smell of cigarettes or marijuana ,the resort has a variety of store and restaurant ,very pricey but if you go well prepared you don’t have to spend lots of money in there ,also outside the resort there are multiple restaurants and it is very close to Disney Springs .My family and I loved the experience.

This hotel is amazing! So much to explore from the atrium with the crocs, snakes, turtles etc to the waterpark. BUT what we did not like about this hotel was how much the food was. We ended up doing a walmart delivery and uber eats which did save some money. Breakfast buffet is $30 adult $17 child or you can go to the starbucks cafe and get robbed there. Dinner entrees for chicken tender and fries simple things was at least $20 a plate. Food was ok. Nothing to rave about. Alcoholic drinks that were small $20 each. They were stopping ppl with small coolers at the pool gates and told them they were not allowed which i find to be BS especially when there are small children in your party. There are ways around it, you just have to think and be sneaky. Which is why we did walmart delivery. Are sandwiches for lunch. No microwaves in the room which is a disappointment. Had our alcohol in that order also so saved there. Just have to be sneaky and outsmart them. Bring non see thru waterbottles 😉

Overall such a magnificent property to stroll around. Plenty of dining options. Our room was very large, shower great, and nice amenities. We dined at Wrecker's Sports Bar and although they brought me an undercooked burger and was not made as the menu described (ordered a Smash Burger & they brought one medium rare single patty - I ordered well done), the bartender immediately noticed it too and remedied that with a smile. Overall we had a good experience sitting at the bar, meeting other friendly patrons, and very nice bartender. Parking is very expensive which I understand, however, after paying $38 parking fee, then seeing another $2.85 on top of that for a Bundle Tax??, seems a bit over the top for a one night stay. Glad we stayed here once!

Property was excellent, staff was awesome. The only issue was it was insane to jump the buffet price from 35 a person to 85.00 on Thanksgiving!!! There is zero reason for that, especially because you know many local places were shut down early or not open at all.

The buffet breakfast was really overpriced and many of the gym machines had broken cables. I had also called twice to make sure I could have a connecting room with my daughter and when we came to check in, we were told that was not possible. Our check in person was terrible. It was only when another person overheard the conversation that he was able to find us 2 connecting rooms. I should have asked his name. He was fantastic.
