There was only one elevator which was inconvenient. The swimming pool was very small and shallow which didn't offer enough room to swim. I did like that kids stayed free and that we were able to take a pet free of charge.

The hotel looks nothing like the pictures online. The whole facility was dirty. The door handles to just open the hotel were slimy and gross. The front desk lady was super nice but had no real information about the pool. Lights weren’t working in or around pool and said she was getting conflicting information from manager. The one elevator was SO slow. Our room was gross. Bed was awful. The plastic part felt like we were sleeping on a toddler mattress. Thank goodness I brought my own pillow. It’s like they remodeled, but a child did it. The entire hotel smelt like musk. We wouldn’t even take our shoes off to walk on the floor. They gave us 2 towels when we had reservations for 4 people. Wouldn’t give us new towels until we returned the ones we used, and we had to bring them to the front desk. Hotel is old and just yucky. Absolutley would never stay here or recommend it to anyone ever.

Some things need to be addressed like the side doors being able to be opened without the keycard. They're not working properly and the owner or manager should address. Other than that I guess im just not that picky. Rooms were clean, everything in there functioned as they should, King size bed, TVs....5 stars

I picked this hotel because I knew it had a pool. When we checked in we were told there was no one to clean the room and if we needed any linens we would have to get them from the front desk at that time I asked about pool towels and was given towels for the pool. When we went to the pool we found it green and closed.. would have been nice had we been told . Will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

There was visible black mold growing on the ceiling above the shower, the beds were sagging and creaky, very uncomfortable. There were hairs and hair balls in the pool. When in told the staff this at checkout, all I got was a half-hearted “sorry”.

Large suite 316 had one dead bug, maybe a rosch. Breakfast wasn’t the best but it worked for 6 nights. It was affordable for our beach trips to Pensacola. Homeless or criminals also reside here. Did not use pool. Laundry needs updated. 35% was out of order. Not very clean room.

The property had good parts and bad parts. The staff was really friendly. The room was pretty clean but the floors definitely could’ve been cleaner in both the hallway and the room. The little breakfast was terrible. Thank goodness there’s a waffle house next-door. The pool area was wonderful and we really appreciated it. The room had lots of little misrepairs that were kind of frustrating, for example, the bathroom door wouldn’t stay shut because the frame is warped. The front door we couldn’t bolt the deadlock because the door is warped. It almost looks like maybe there was some water damage at one point… I don’t know. The beds are terrible. The sheets and blankets were clean and comfortable, but the mattresses were so old that we felt every single spring on both beds. The mattresses really really needed an upgrade.

Hotel was very dirty, poor condition, we stayed for 5 nights, wpuld have moved but too hard with puppies. Room never cleaned once, had to ask for towels after turning in dirty ones at the front desk.

No shower curtain which they did replace the next day. Mold on roof in shower/toilet, roaches on floor. Don't think I'll ever stay at a Red Roof Inn again based on this visit.

Room 312 the bathroom show pressure is terrible and there is mold growing on the ceiling. The bed closet to the a/c unit squeaks. The continental breakfast was never stocked it was hit and miss and the same crappy food.

I thought the Staff did an excellent job. There was an issue where I noticed a couple of roaches crawling into the cracks on the door which was kind of not good. I've never been to a hotel with visible roaches. Overall though, the room was clean and comfortable. The only negative I have is with the wooden floors, anyone with kids that are active, you can literally hear them running around, vs having carpet. I would return just because this hotel was very convenient location wise to where I was going to, so the couple of negative things were not that big of a deal.

They do not offer daily housekeeping they only clean rooms that check out if you need anything for your room, you have to go to the front desk and hope somebody’s there. I stood there for 30 minutes and nobody come to the desk definitely would not be staying and if I could get my money back and had went somewhere else I would have on the it allows pets so the hallway smell. It smells outside from where they use the bathroom and it’s not cleaned up

Positives-The girl that checked us in was very friendly. Convenient, right off the interstate. Negatives- The hotel had a weird smell in the lobby and in the rooms. The bathroom door would not shut. TV reception was very poor quality. Thin walls, so you could hear everything in the hallway. Breakfast was ok, but limited options (bagels, cereal, pastries). Hotel is not worth what we paid. Would've been fine for around $75 or less a night.

Not much was unique....first we got a terrible mattress in the first room. Was reassigned and then bed was ok. We had no Wifi for the whole time we were there. The room we had had a dog smell to it and the bathroom had mismatched top to the toilet and looked like it had water damage that was just covered over with paint that didnt work. We only stayed one night but was not impressed. The staff was great and did their best to make it better for us. Improvements need to be made.

We were passing through on our way to Texas from Florida, and as it got later we started looking for a place to stay. We were traveling with two dogs, and while I looked at the competitors in the area it was going to cost an additional $50. Red Roof, no charge for pets. So we booked the room. We didn't have very high expectations. Boy where we were wrong. Our front desk experience with Casey was wonderful. She was warm and inviting, took the time to orientate us and let us know to call her if we needed anything. The room was very clean odor free, and no carpet. For those that travel with pets that is a very important factor. The bed slept well, and the bedding was nice. We will book again on our way back through.

Bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. Shower leaked water all over the floor. Toilet didn’t want to flush. Remote batteries kept falling out because there was no back. Ants EVERYWHERE! This is the second time we’ve stayed in this same hotel but it will also be our last. Desk clerk was not friendly and twice came in to staff yelling at each other. A real let down.

The hotel is abouy 30 minutes fron Pensacola City. The place is very safe, clean and new. It is very clean a confortable. The breakfast is a little weak (not hot food), it is only to take something and go. However, being there is worth it for its price-quality ratio.

I made the reservation thru Expedia, but was absolutely unable to reach this location on the phone to ask a question. I finally called Red Roof main reservation number, they couldn't reach them either. That aside, this motel is right next to the interstate, so while very convenient, it was a little noisy. The check-in was easy and fast. The clerk was friendly. Our room had a walk in shower which my hubby required. The towels were decent, toilitries were provided. The internet worked, but was slow. The room needed minor TLC, but was clean. We did see some ants in the bathroom during the night, but better them than roaches! They do offer a breakfast, but we brought our own, so can't speak to that. The pool was quiet and clean. We enjoyed the Waffle house next door...it was welcomed after a long day in bumper to bumper traffic. The bed in my opinion was too hard, but my husband liked it. The bedding was clean. All in all the room was decent and we got a good rate. So we would recommend this location.

The desk couldn't help with doing a military discount dew to the Expedia booking,they did not offer, desk was informative about the third party booking. Stay was good for the 1 night, breakfast was a bit of a stretch, good thing Waffle house is next door.

The staff was friendly and polite, the rooms were clean but the beds are very uncomfortable, the hotel is pet friendly and the 2nd floor hallway smelled like pet urine so strong that it could be smelled as soon as the elevator door opened, and breakfast food options only consisted of snack cakes & 2 types of cereal.

We have stayed here several times before on our way to and from Texas. I would suggest changing a few things to provide gluten free options. Change one cereal to rice krispies and offer regular instant oatmeal too. The only thing our son could have was juice for breakfast.
