Courtyard by Marriott Orlando Airport

Courtyards by Marriott are always consistently clean and new properties whether they’re new construction or newly renovated. This property was no exception as it was clean, newly renovated, and for the most part had friendly staff. Although there were 3 glaring problems. The one BIG issue and annoyance was their airport shuttle service. That’s the main reason we stayed here. I thought I’d give Marriott my business just to change it up from my regular Hilton Diamond service at Hilton Garden or Hampton Inn. I waited 2 hours for the hotel shuttle at the airport coming back from NYC. My handicapped mother accompanied me on this trip and she was in pain for a week after waiting for that shuttle in the heat for 2 hours! I just got an Uber Black to pick us up even though it was $55, it was well worth it. To make matters worse, the hotel front desk couldn’t care less that we were waiting for that long. Sorry, but never staying here again. If you don’t mind waiting 2 hours at the airport for a shuttle service to come pick you up from a hotel that’s literally 1.9 miles away, have fun! The icing on the cake was that parking wasn’t free, it was more expensive than Orlando International Airport covered parking garage(3x the price), and they didn’t even offer valet!

Never going back. Shuttle service never showed up even after 1 hour. Front desk made false promises that shuttle would show up, knowing fully well it won’t. Wasted over an hour waiting for it before taking taxi. Emailing to general manager was futile as well as there has been no response. Bed was not great and sheets smelt bad. Encourage people to avoid this property.

Transportation on this Friday, 01/24/2025 was busy and there were over 15 of us that had been waiting 30 minutes or longer and were getting short on patience. There were even small children waiting outside on chilly winter night. The shuttle driver was a bit snippy with us.

There was no free breakfast and very limited parking.

The hotel was great,we only stayed one night but it’s a nice place for multiple nights as well. The hotel is conveniently located at the complimentary hotel shuttle was efficient. The pool conditions could use a little work and the ice machine in my floor 1st floor was out of service.

All good except parking, small spaces and charges for parking.

The young woman who checked us in on our first stay and then remembered us when we checked back in a week later. She was friendly, efficient, and helpful. Transportation was poor. I tried several times prior to our arrival in Orlando to book the shuttle, no one answered the call. On arrival at MCO the airport information attendant also tried to contact the hotel with the same no answer result. We ended up taking a taxi. It was the front desk agent who booked the trips from the hotel to the airport for us. The shuttle dropped us off at the correct terminal.

Check in was quick, the room was clean and ready early. I was pleased with everything about my stay. The only issue I encountered was with the free shuttle. Upon my arrival, I called the hotel as instructed and went to the pick-up area. I then waited an hour for the shuttle. I had made a second call prior to that and was told the shuttle would be there to pick me up in about seven minutes.smadesecond

I stay at Courtyard several times a year. I like the quietness, courtesy of the hotel staff and the comfortable accommodations. However, the transportation from the airport has been very disappointing. This past Sunday I waited over an hour in the hot sun for the shuttle to arrive. Several others were waiting with me. We all called the hotel several times until our calls were all put on hold. This wasn’t the first time this has happened. One exhausted gentleman, who had traveled to Orlando from England, had been awake for over 17 hours. He finally gave up on waiting for a shuttle and called an Uber at his own expense. If a hotel advertises free transportation to and from the airport, transportation needs to be provided in a timely manner.

Hallways were gross. Very dirty. Comforter was not clean. Had stains. Surprise $17 parking cost. Only hotel I’ve ever stayed at that has charged money to park. I would never recommend this place

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean.

We asked to be dropped off in terminal A for goport and he shuttle guy dropped us off in terminal B. Not impressed. Rooms were outdated and had bed smell. AC worked good though. No free breakfast. Room was dirty carpet not clean and bathroom tub had slime on it so gross. Bed was comfortable.

The hotel smelled as it was moldy. Plastic tarps on the floor and we were put on a floor with apparent construction starting early morning

Courteous staff, room was spotless. Water pressure was a bit much but everything else was lovely, modern and comfortable.

We arrive early the next day because of a flight delay. The person at desk was very nice upon our arrival. She gave us some water to take to our room. It would have been nicer to get a bigger bottle or at least 2 person because it was hot and it was very early and we were Thirsty. We appreciate getting what we got. In the morning when we went to take our showers we unfolded a towel and it had hair in imbedded in it. I’m unsure how housekeeping would let that happen. That should have been spotted and not put into the room. I took a picture of the hair on the towel.

Booked a last minute overnight here due to a late flight arrival. Service at the front desk was super nice, but my room smelled musty/mildewy and felt very humid/sort of damp. The a/c unit also never really cooled the room down very well. The carpet was also in really poor condition (loose/thin). This was an ok stay for what I needed,

Clean quiet and safe!!

Always stay at your Marriott Courtyard hotels . Surprised at how dirty, soiled and worn carpets were. Bathroom tiles on floor were dirty. Will have second thougts about booking at your hotels in the future.

The room was very nice and fresh. Obviously was recently renovated. The balcony was literally 2ft which is a little crazy because I paid for a room with a balcony to actually use. The hotel was very close to the airport and in a good location that was walkable to restaurants and shopping. Overall it was a nice stay, just wish I could have used my balcony.

Property undergoing renovation bill have everything I needed for one night stay at the airport Great new room good WiFi and used my Netflix Stormy out but saw the pool and courtyard Had little cafe and access to lots of chain eating places

This hotel had beautifully renovated rooms. The lobby was very cozy. I love that we had a balcony that opened up over the courtyard/pool. Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. This hotel was close to the airport and was excellent value for the money. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed in a newly renovated room. The bathroom doesn't have a door. It had a thick curtain. If i was in the room alone, it would have been fine but i was sharing the room with someone. I'm not sure if all the bathroom doors are set up that way but i wouldn't stay there again if they are.

Airport hotel without good soundproofing close to flight path of departing aircraft. Otherwise fine.

The only thing I didn’t like was the AC in the room didn’t get cold enough or circulate great. The beds were too firm for me. Other than that, the hotel was very nice and the service was great.

Booked room with balcony, put on 1st floor. Non- working exhaust fan in BR, room very small compared to what I thought I booked, shuttle time was not accurate

Too much noise from the plane. The mattress was not confortable. Room needs some refresh. Coffee machine not working at all but at least they paid us a coffee from the restaurant.

First time staying overnight in Orlando for an early morning flight. We live an hour away, in Lakeland, and I thought it would be worth it, to stay in a hotel near the airport so we didn't have to get up quite so early in the morning. I was hoping for a good night's sleep...We started out in room 158, with King bed and sofa bed. I suggested my son sleep in the bed thinking I'd be fine on the sofa bed. I'd slept on hotel sofa beds before with no issue. I found myself trying to sleep on the most uncomfortable surface I had ever laid on. After about 1.5 to 2 hours (without sleep) while my son slept, I went to the front desk and asked for a cot. They didn't have cots, but the employee at the desk told me that he could move us to a room with 2 queen beds. By then I believe it was around midnight. I didn't want to wake my son and being desperate for sleep, I asked if I could just go crash in the room being offered... I wound up in the room next door (156?) with a very loud A/C unit. Every time it shut down, there was a whining/winding down sound. Prior to it kicking in again, there were random clicks (or ticks?) and sure enough it went full blast again (every time). Both my son and I agreed that the beds were too firm and uncomfortable. He slept some. I didn't sleep at all. And by the time my air travel was over and we landed, I had gone 32 hours without sleep. Great customer service at the desk (2 males) and with the shuttle drivers (departing & returning) I'm thankful for them.

Was on business, was held up for three days. Was very stressful. The front desk clerk, Rodrigo, made it so much better. From making me coffee's and detailed directions. His caring was heartfelt. Would stay again, hopefully under better circumstances.

Hotel under renovation - wasn’t communicated prior to arrival or at booking time the day prior. Strong paint smell in room Sofa Bed wasn’t made - staff expected us to make the bed. After a phone call to reception someone came and assisted.

Parking is uncomfortable depending on your vehicle, A/C was not working, they had a guy to come and fix it, the TV wasn’t working, they tried fixing it but were not able to get it going. Called the front lobby twice and I ended up walking there because for whatever reasons they didn’t pick it up. The person fixing the tv was very nice, very humble. The ladies at the lobby seemed friendly and nice, but again, they did not pick up the phone for me.

We had to book a hotel since our flight was missed due to something going on in Orlando's airport. We were having a cluster of a day and the people at the front enterance were AMAZING! THANK YOU.

Roderick the front night attendant was AMAZING!! He was very nice, courteous, understanding, and kind. His customer service was top tier, thanks courtyard for having a great staff with a warm welcoming.

Very convenient access to the airport, my room directly faced the giant TGI Fridays illuminated sign which wasn't the best but not a big deal. Would recommend for early morning flights.

I like the location. Its next to a tgi fridays, an indoor kids playground and ihop is a very quick walk. I walked it with a young child and we're not walking type and it was close. I only stayed for a night because i had a late flight however I really enjoyed my stay and next time I'll probably stay there again. I love that theres mini balconies. The airport shuttle was very quick, i didnt have to wait at the airport a long time at all. The next day it was right on time to bring me back to the airport so i could get a rental car for the rest of my trip.

Close to MCO and shopping. Ideal for a stay before catching an early flight the next day.

Way overpriced for what it is. Hotel AC was very loud, and smelled moldy. Obviously the hotel is very close to the airport so you could hear jets taking off. Low water pressure, scratchy linens on the bed, popcorn ceiling, enamel on the tub was peeling up, tiles on the floor loose. You had to pay for coffee in the morning, there is a fee for breakfast, you have to pay to park your car in their lot. On the plus side, the 5 dollar a cup coffee was strong and available at 5:00 am, and the shuttle was reliable. Will not stay here again unless the price is much lower.

Fast check in. Clean and beautiful property but onsite drinks and snack are very expensive.

Had shuttle bus that picked us up from MCO airport on time. Very convenient for a one night stay but less so for a longer stay as it lacks a restaurant.

As always, Courtyard by Marriott never disappoints. It is nice to enjoy food and beverages in the lobby and then relax in a well appointed room.

Hotel was fine for a one night stay. However, rooms are very basic, dark and dowdy. Bed was comfortable but my son found the sofa bed mattress to be very uncomfortable. Breakfast for 3 was expensive at $65. Hotel transfer bus was a good touch though.

Great options for breakfast and dinner. Also wine and drinks available for purchase at very reasonable price. The Courtyard special Old Fashion is just incredible.. Must order if you enjoy bourbon....

Good not great. This is an older hotel that has been renovated to keep it competitive as this area is chocked full of hotels. We were here one night before our flight out of MCO so was convenient. As you enter the lobby, it looks updated and nice and has a small reception area with snack/drink area. The other side of the room has a large sitting area and a bar where you can not only get a drink but some food items. It appeared this hotel had some water damage recently because beyond the lobby is a sunken area that had plastic all over it with fans blowing underneath of it so dry out the carpeting. Didn’t really know what this area was for but it seemed to be an extension of the lobby. Also, our room had a damp feel to it and it smelled like it had been wet. Being that it was only for one night I didn’t request a room change. Also, we cranked the AC to ward off the moist air in the room. To be honest I would imagine several of the rooms were this way so I didn’t bother getting moved. The staff was friendly enough however the employee that was “tending” the bar had no idea how to make the drinks on the menu. 2 of the drinks were undrinkable. He was a very nice guy and apologized and didn’t charge us but someone with some bar knowledge should be assigned to this area so I don’t blame the employee, this is a management issue. There is a TGI Fridays right next door which is nice in that we didn’t have to drive anywhere for dinner. Wouldn’t stay here again however.
