No heated pool as advertised . I would of never stayed here if I knew pool would not be heated for duration of my trip . Not 1 person was in the pool for the four days I was there . I would appreciate a credit of some sort because being a Marriott I expected a premier experience and was let down tremendously by this. Pool was open to 11pm and I would of enjoyed being in it every night but it was ice cold and not heated by any standard . I asked them to turn the heat on the second day and the facilities worker informed me that the pump was broken and they did not know when would be fixed . Well how about you change the amenities or let the person know before they book .in February a heated pool in a big pull for someone to book a particular hotel and I would of chose countless other hotels with a heated pool. This was a huge damper on my trip and I would reconsider ever choosing a Marriott again !

Our stay at Courtyard Orlando Downtown was great! Check-in was quick and easy. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The Bistro was a great place to grab breakfast and the coffee they served was delicious. The only issue we had was with the hotel’s shuttle. We called the hotel to ask for the shuttle at the end of a show at the Dr. Phillip’s Center and told them the location we were waiting to be picked up. More than 20 minutes went by and we decided to go with a rideshare. When I let the front desk know that we were not picked by the shuttle the staff were gracious to comp our breakfast this morning. Despite being left out in the cold by the shuttle (it was 50 degrees and very windy while we were waiting) we will stay at the Courtyard Orlando Downtown again.

The hotel is located in downtown Orlando with access to gas station, restaurant and entertainment. It is also not too far to all the theme park attractions. The room is neat, you get what you paid for, small size unit. We stayed for several nights but housekeeping came once during our entire stay and we had to take our own food garbage out. I’d say housekeeping can improve to at least once every other day. The service at the restaurant is hit and off, with some staff being friendly and others not so much. We had a wonderful experience with front desk staff Leo, who is kind, professional, helpful and genuinely was the highlight of our stay. There is an outdoor pool but too cold to swim in December in case anyone was wondering. The complimentary laundry facility was handy for longer time stay with children, although it does get busy. You have to check for availability often and be quick to take your clothes a courtesy to other guests since there is only one washer and dryer. We rented a car but there is also complimentary shuttle that takes you within 3 miles distance if not planning to travel far.

Pros: This hotel was great for many reasons. The rooms and bathrooms are modern, well equipped and clean; the bed and pillows were super comfy and soft; the service was wonderful; the lobby restaurant/convenience food and choices were awesome (as was Dana's service!) with breakfast served all day (reasonably priced); and our room was generally quiet (except for traffic noise from the busy street and gas station nearby). They offer a free shuttle bus (3 mile radius), nice pool, nice gym, and decent WiFi. The surrounding area is quite nice, with an entrance to the Orlando Urban Trail (for walkers, runners and cyclists) just a quarter mile from the hotel's front door. Cons: Why not 5 stars? Room service is provided "every other day", meaning that if you stay for two nights, there will be no service provided until you depart. This means that if you need anything - like replacement coffee for the coffeemaker, trash emptied, etc. - you need to request service at the front desk. Parking, in their open parking lot, is charged at $20/day. This might be common in Orlando, but I'm not sure. Overall impression: one of the best hotels we have stayed at for some time, and we travel a lot! Would we book to stay her again... you bet. It was a wonderful experience all round!

This was our second stay this summer, and the Courtyard by Marriott has become our favorite hotel in downtown Orlando. The customer service is unparalleled. We have been visiting for concerts throughout the summer and were attracted by the shuttle service to Kia center and Camping World Stadium, but we will keeping coming back due to their excellent customer service and comfortable, spacious rooms. There are a variety of shops and restaurants in walking distance, and a starbucks/bistro right in lobby downstairs. My sister asked me to book our next trip when we have no plans so we can just relax in our room for the whole stay because it was so comfortable. We will definitely return and have already recommended this hotel to friends and family traveling to the area this summer.

The property location was convenient and the area was nice and seemed safe. We had a couple of unfortunate incidents that tarnished our stay here. One incident was regarding breakfast. My bagel had a large black hair draped across it. The other incident was a large stain on the white comforter in our room. We asked and received new linens, but they put the same comforter back on the bed. So, it was corrected after a second request. Not a great stay. I don’t recommend.

Booked for close proximity for child’s surgery. Staff were kind and caring, the hotel common areas and our rooms were spotless. The room was large, clean, the bed was unbelievably comfortable, the bathroom was large and super clean. We had to check out prior to breakfast.

Great property, staff was great but be warned, it is impossible for the room doors to close quietly at night, and bathrooms now have barn-door style doors that also are loud. If you are a light sleeper, you will hear the rooms around you.

The hotel was clean and bed was comfortable. It is right off a busy street and the windows are old they obviously were not replaced in the remodel so you hear everything. When the bars let out at 2 A. M. get ready to hear the cars revving. Next time I'd try another downtown option.

The cleanliness of the room was fantastic, and I appreciated how hot the food was when it was served! I also enjoyed the balcony in my room. The only thing that stopped me from rating this property five stars was I only had one working outlet in the room (outside of the bathroom, the bathroom outlet was fine) so it was a struggle to charge my electronics. The other outlets and USB outlets were not working. I was in room 304.

Checked in and received a room with a window that was broken and would not close, which is very unsafe. This was on the 2nd floor. Had to go back to check in wait in line and re-do the process again for another room. When i booked the hotel through Expedia it did not say there was fee for parking. Hotel had big parking lot with lots of stalls and yet charge their guests. Total cash grab I did not like that. Hotel is in a bad area in my opinion and loud loud music blaring outside in surrounding hotel area or parking lot till 2am not enjoyable. Hotel staff was totally useless and did not care.

Everything was amazing! The check-in process was incredibly easy, and the friendly front desk staff made our stay even more enjoyable. I had the pleasure of meeting JJ, who was exceptional and truly a gem to the Marriott staff. JJ provided clear and straightforward instructions on how to use the courtesy shuttle, which was a huge help. I highly recommend this hotel for any stay. Horrible experience. No room available. No customer care. Manager didn’t want to give us refund for a room he didn’t have. When we told him we will sue him for the money, he got upset told us to leave, and called the police for trespassing. He is rude.

The Hotel is in a great location, very quiet area and basically you can walk to all of down town and good restaurants around the area. there is a gas station right next to the hotel with a convenience store. Hotel is clean and staff was great and very attending of everything.

What a wonderful place to stay! To start, the check in process was so nice as the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Then when you look around the lobby, you see how modern and unique it is. With a nice lounging area with a big Tv to a nice dine in spot by the bistro. Then the rooms themself are so clean and comfortable with a great balcony where you can enjoy the morning sunshine. This hotel also offers free shuttle rides to go anywhere within 3 miles of the hotel which is a great service. Highly recommend!

Everything was VERY expensive. I guess I didn't read the fine print in the booking because I got charge $20 just for parking. The was no complimentary coffee in the lobby. They had it in the rooms but had to go to the lobby for creamers and sweeteners. It would have been nice to just get the coffee and everything down there. No continental breakfast, only the expensive "Bistro" option.

Nice hotel. Our second time here and would stay again. Staff was excellent and good location for downtown Orlando (my brother lives nearby in College Park). The little bistro in the lobby was surprisingly good for breakfast, and converted to an appetizers and drinks bar at night. Nothing fancy but super convenient and reasonable.

My stay was great! The room was very clean and felt like new. The fridge was a great size and the wine glasses provided were a perfect touch. Water pressure was perfect. The food at the bistro in the lobby was delicious, I had the tomato soup and grilled cheese. I felt like I was at a super fancy expensive hotel but it was actually reasonably priced and worth every penny. There was a little bit of noise outside at the gas station next door, saturday night fast & the furious wannabes. Other than that, this stay was perfect. I will definitely be back!
