The bed was as hard as the floor and mad noises just rolling over. The pool was not working. We requested a pool when we talked with you. Talked to the front desk got nowhere. Talked to manager would not move us to another room. Offered two blinkets to soften the bed.

We often stay at Hampton Inns as they are usually top notch. In this case some of the property was not in good condition and or clean. The carpets in the elevators were very dirty. They were carpet and I do not think they were vacuumed at all while we were there. In our room (217) the bathroom tub had some kind of repair to the bottom of the tub that was covered with vinyl or something to hide the damage. This would not have been a big deal but the bottom of the tub was uneven and hard to stand in and keep your balance. An accident waiting to happen if I were an older person with any kind of balance issue. The shining star of this property is the staff who could not do enough for you. I did not complain about the tub because I did not want to move after having unpacked.

Everything was great as usual. The only real issue is the pool furniture is completely falling apart. The front outside lobby area was kind of dirty. Drops of blood on the ground etc. The rest of the property was good. Close to restaurants and other shopping.

Stayed here for work over a weekend. Hotel is in middle of renovations. I didn’t know this until I arrived. Needed I’m sure but they should post it. Will look good when completed. Ice machine didn’t work on my floor. Great breakfast. Nothing that bad and would stay again.

Renovations were underway on the 3rd floor (among other places), directly over our room. Drilling loud enough to drown out the TV Sunday afternoon, and not quite as loud drilling Monday afternoon until well past 6:00 p.m. No one mentioned the renovations when we checked in, and we received a half-hearted, “We can move you to the 1st floor, but we only have doubles,” when we complained at the front desk on Sunday. (We reserved a king.) Both elevators’ walls were covered with plywood and their floors with drywall (?) remains. We’ve stayed at this hotel several times a year for the past 5 years, but I’m not sure we’ll be back.

This hotel was under MAJOR renovation and was in NO condition to be operating!!!!! The room was fine but everything EVERYTHING getting to it was a loud dirty unsightly construction zone! It was obvious they were trying to keep the revenue flowing during a construction job that was NOT conducive to that.

This hotel is FILTHY and reeks of cigarette smoke. It is a petri dish of mold and bacteria. If you have children, stay away. If you don’t have any children and value your health, stay away. We were offered another room, but it was in the same disgusting condition the lights were flickering.

It was good nice place. Clean for sure. Our roo. Was right next to the elevator so we got to hear it go off all night. In the morning the breakfast was better than most hotels like it the setup of the breakfast area was set up all wrong you couldnt get to half the stuff due to others standin in your way . There was an attendant right there to handle any issues and she was pleasant.

The bed was very firm, and it was hard to get comfortable night's sleep. Generally, Hamton has a nicer bed than a cheaper hotel and is why I selected it. I will not stay here again due to that. I mean you need a good night's sleep when staying in a hotel. Maybe it's fin for people who like a really firm mattress. Staff was nice and it seemed clean in and around the hotel. I didn't eat the breakfast so I can't speak to that.

The toilets are very low in Rooms and they don’t have Microwaves in Rooms anymore! very disappointed of that! Otherwise rooms was very clean and air conditioned very cold! I will be back Soon and hope they get Microwaves back into there rooms it’s very bad you have to go downstairs to heat food up and by the time you get back upstairs it’s done got Cold for waiting on elevator

I liked the hotel and the staff was nice. The breakfast lady was very friendly. The only hiccup was that my AC didn't work -- just the fan. The hotel was full so I couldn't switch rooms and no maintenance on a Friday night so I just had to deal. I liked the large screen TV. A bit off the beaten path if you are going to Daytona Beach but it worked for me as I was just passing through. Close to food places, Walmart and grocery store.

Made the reservation through Expedia, and when we arrived at the hotel they tried to bill us for the room again. Front desk staff said they did not receive payment from Expedia. Expedia had to call the hotel which took about 30 minutes to sort out

The manager of this motel refused to honor my paid in full reservation for a handicap King bed room. Additionally the vinyl floors were filthy with dirt and food crumbs between each tile. The faucet in the bathtub/shower dripped constantly. Lastly a sticker on the bathroom mirror was the only notice that housekeeping would not be making the beds, cleaning the room, replenishing the coffee or towels, emptying the trash every other day.

I called and made a reservation through hotels.com.and paid them for 2 adults and a 15 year old grand daughter. They ask the age of all children 16 and under on there form. Hampton Inn in Daytona/Ormand Beach charged me $39.38 more without telling me they were going to add this charge . The 3 of us arrived at the hotel a little after midnight and the man at the front desk was on the rude side while dealing with me. He said he needed my credit card for a 25.00 charge in case we damanged anything which is typical but he did not tell me he was adding a 39.48 charge for my grand daughter. I called the hotel when i got home (l was driving us from Florida to Delaware) and saw the charge in my bank account. I called the hotel and spoke to a very pleasant lady and she told me the reservation by hotel..com was for 3 adults and 1 child. I should not have been charged anything extra because there were 3 of us which i paid for through hotels.com. She said she would talk to management and call me back. She never did. I am very disappointed with this whole situation and will not stay there again The hotel is average, the toilets are very short and hard to get off of if you are tall like me. I gavevit a poor rating because they basically stole 40.00 from me without telling me about this charge.

I liked the hotel and the staff was nice. The breakfast lady was very friendly. The only hiccup was that my AC didn't work -- just the fan. The hotel was full so I couldn't switch rooms and no maintenance on a Friday night so I just had to deal. I liked the large screen TV. A bit off the beaten path if you are going to Daytona Beach but it worked for me as I was just passing through. Close to food places, Walmart and grocery store.

It was good nice place. Clean for sure. Our roo. Was right next to the elevator so we got to hear it go off all night. In the morning the breakfast was better than most hotels like it the setup of the breakfast area was set up all wrong you couldnt get to half the stuff due to others standin in your way . There was an attendant right there to handle any issues and she was pleasant.

buffet breakfast is very limited. Also someone should pay attention to people who take to their rooms breakfast for 6 or 8 people every day. Like they are feeding a huge family. Traveled for my dad’s funeral. Great hotel and great staff! Breakfast was perfect. Zero complaints. It can be pricey but it’s worth it. Stayed at the Quality Inn back in June and it’s a world of difference! Stay here if you can!

I rated my stay at this property 5 stars last time because it was. This time it was not. Last stay I was on the second floor, and everything was great. This time on the third floor and it was not good. Bed uncomfortable, terrible pillows , bathroom not good. I am left handed and the way the bathroom was setup they have shelves on the wall that extended to the edge of the sink which is on the left side of the vanity, I had to step to the right to brush my teeth (left hand) so I would not hit the shelves...I should have taken a picture, it was just a weird set-up. Door to bathroom was falling off. I will stay again but not above the second floor until it is renovated.
