The elevator wasn’t working and apparently hadn’t been for some time

The night staff associate was nice. However, the property is really old and in need of renovation. The hallways along with bedrooms had such a soot and cigarette smoke smell. The elevator also did not work.

Elevator not working. Room didn’t have a clean odor (musty) hints of smoking. Faucet fixtures loose. . Stains on carpet in a few spots.

Our second time staying here. The hotel is old but well kept. Smells nice, AC is cold, water pressure is strong, hot water is really hot and beds are confortable. My only complaint was the broken elevator. Good thing its only 3 floors. Fix that elevator!!!

TV did not work. Room smelled like it was dirty. Elevator still broken 2 months later.

The manager and staff were very friendly. The location was perfect for our needs as our son lives close by. The building is older but the management are doing a great job of keeping it clean. The pool is small but inviting. The bedding and towels were very clean and white.

Asked for towels several hours later we got them. The pool area needs to be redone it was awful. Four old plastic chairs at the pool need to be replaced. It was nice and quiet.

Checkin was interesting. The entire time I was at the counter checking in , the one doing the checking in was looking over my shoulder at my husband who was looking as brochures ( free ones by the way) the entire time! Pretty sketchy . Breakfast they just need to give up on . Terrible! No elevator still which is not just pure lazy on the hotel since they were sold out again so I’m the money is coming in . Walking 3 flights with luggage is ridiculous !

Extremely outdated, cigarette burns on sink. Lukewarm fridge, old school coffee pot Smoking is allowed, so the smell is horrendous Trash piled outside. Pool was out of service Requested maid service, housekeeping flipped my sign to do not disturb and kept it moving. Do not stay here… It’s Bates Motel

Upon arrival we were told that the elevator was not working and had been broken for 3 weeks. Along with no first floor availability. That's a bad plan when you have bad knees. Stairs are not friendly for knee pain. If we would have known this ahead of time we would have booked elsewhere. Oh, I almost forgot. The bathroom exhaust fan is louder than my predator generator when it's running. Obnoxiously loud! Won't be staying there again.

I booked this hotel because of the price. When I pulled up, at the front door it smelled like weed (this was for the entire stay). Every smoker congregates at the front door to smoke as well. The room was nice looking at first glance. I completed my meeting and got ready for bed and when I pulled back the covers I had a bed sheet with a cigarette burn in the middle of the sheet I know the cleaning person had to have seen, there were also several stains on one side of the bed sheets nearest the window. I went to the other side of the bed and when I laid down, I literally slid towards the middle of the bed because the springs in the bed moved me that way. The staff was friendly once they finished their conversation or text message but you had to wait on them to complete that before you could speak. Next time I will pay extra and go to a different place.

The bedroom area was clean and recently painted. The bathroom was nasty - the area around where the tub joins the shower enclosure was covered with black mold/mildew. The hotel was occupied by only a few other guests - il looks like a ghost town. We thought it was closed when we drove in.

Perfect location. Clean room and bathroom. Nothing fancy but perfect for me. I would check in there again in the future.

Breakfast was not stocked at 8:30am. There was a very dirty man, who smelled very badly, sitting in the eating area so we had to go to McDonalds and brought it back to eat. We didn't even bother to try and eat the second morning. We just left and ate at Bob Evans before leaving to our next destination. The entire hotel had a fowl odor and was filthy. I also killed 2 roaches in our room. People were hanging out outside the hotel and it made us feel unsafe. I do NOT recommend this hotel. Bad experience.

Our room did not smell good. There was mold in the bathroom and above the A/C units. Cockroaches were under the refrigerator.

Sleep area was just ok (one bed squeaked), no printed tv guide and tv navigation was difficult, very bare bones furnishings. The bathroom had one upgrade from the 1980’s…the toilet. All other fixtures/shower enclosure were antique and the handle on vanity faucet spun around. The floor was disgusting with black mold along wall and in corners. I booked online for $140/night taxes. Expedia should re-evaluate this place.

The sheets had stains, the bathroom floor was sticky, and the smell was not pleasant. Could not wait till the morning to leave.

The place was ok for the night. Very loud and noisy. I got back around 11:30 P.M. and was unable to go to sleep from the noise in the hallways and the doors slam shut

It is an old facility and the owners need to re-invest in the quality of the rooms, noisy frig and AC units, bath room fixtures need help, door dead blending work, drapes wouldn’t close all the way… facilities are just old!

Check in was fine. I was able to get a room overlooking the parking lot as I requested. However the non smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke. There seemed to be a party in the room next to me. This was a room that joined mine so there was a door in between. I assume the smoke was coming through the cracks in the door. Anyhow the party continued throughout the night. I was awoken around 3am to what sounded like a nightclub in the room next to me. I called the front desk dozens of times with no answer. I ended up having to go downstairs and track down a worked to deal with the noise. This continued to go in for hours. I wouldn’t recommend this place as it seemed like a regular thing.

There was a lot of noise outside the room, I could hear the noise through the walls. Other than that it was good.

The place looks and FEELS like a prison the moment you step into it. It has nothing to offer for the $123 that I paid for the night that I stayed. You just have a cheap bare floor, a creaking wooden desk, and an air conditioner that as loud as a large and nasty dump truck. On the bed there were 4 little pillows (1.5 foot each). When I kept them next to each other, they were very low. When I put them on top of each other, they did not offer much room for my head to move around and I kept waking up and adjusting them during the night. Now I have a terrible neck pain. We could hardly sleep from the extremely loud noise. The room has a little window that is of no use during the day or the night (because it overlooks the parking lot and the sun beats on it throughout the entire afternoon. The woman who checked us in was nasty, because we interrupted her from eating her dinner. Before booking, I called and asked if breakfast was included, and they confirmed that it was. However, the dining hall has been shut down for days, and they did not even offer a cup of orange juice (nada... nothing at all). In third world countries I stayed at cleaner and better hotels than this. If I had seen it before booking, I would not have booked it even it it was $20.

Clean property big rooms and comfy pool

The TV remote didn’t work the lamp shades were dirty. The furniture is old and very worn and faded. The shower has visible repairs and looked horrible.

Beds need an upgrade

The room was comfortable, but a bit noisy. It's an older building with gaps at the door. The communal spaces have been updated, but the room is still sporting old carpet and finishes. Corners in the room and bathroom could use some focused cleaning.

Very Clean and Quite Professional Staff

Check-in was terrible. The hotel front desk staff rude. We booked non-smoking room, because I am 9 months pregnant, but room smells like somebody smoked in the room 2 minutes ago. We told that to front desk staff immediately, but they did nothing and asked us do we want to cancel reservation. Room is generally old and dirty. We could not touch the towels at all.

The owners obviously put care into maintaining their hotel. The staff is helpful and conscientious. It's not fancy and the building is older, but it's solid, provides appropriate essentials, and it's kept clean. It had easy access to the highway to get to many points of interest. We would stay here again.

All in all place was good except the elevator was down. Just a minor inconvenience but nothing terrible. Parking lot is small and when a few trailers took more than 1 spot, made it tough to park few nights.

Hotel was unsafe and shady. Tried to talk to hotel and expedia to get my money back and was declined. Never walked foot into the door.

The furniture in the lobby looks ancient and not well maintained. While walking around the property I noticed several drug transactions in the back parking area in front of the pool area, also I noticed there was a bees nest on the outside roof area with several bees swarming the parking lot area in the front. Definitely discreet location but no one was watching the parking lot area. Unacceptable!!! Please provide security for the property. Disgraceful and tasteless establishment. Please do better!!! ASAP

Questionable people in parking lot, random person knocking on door at 1am, totally lacked any good feeling about staying there.

The property had a guy hanging around asking for money. The "free" breakfast was the worst I've ever seen. Didn't even have coffee and the orange juice was very watered-down.

The room was big and fixed, the dresser drawer was dirty, bathroom seat was broken in room 110 and 112. The backyard was nasty and also the little lake. The breakfast was poor no sausage for the eggs .

This was an slightly above average accommodation. Breakfast was pretty limited, but it saves on the overall cost, so some is better than none. Pretty good stay!

I like clean room! The breakfast was minimum, did not replenish breakfast!
