Booked for the pool and the pool was closed with no sign hanging up so we didn’t get to swim. Had reservations for 4 people and would only give 3 towels. When I asked housekeeping for clean ones and had the dirty ones laid out for them the cleaning lady didn’t seem to happy that I asked and gave me a stare down. Other than that it was clean

I really feel in love with the king sized bed. Very comfortable and super wide! The pool was right outside the room I had. The pool was very warm and clean.

Everything was good, beds and pillows were comfortable. Lobby area was clean and checked in was a breeze. Pool was open,met some very nice people while at the pool. Only thing was on the step and general area seem to have some crumbling concrete. Over all enjoyed our stay.

Below average RedRoof. No t really sure what the Plus means… maybe it means a remodel gives paint over dirty walls plus plus some extra paint splatter for extra measure. Lobby looks like low budget medical clinic waiting room… very depressed appearance.check in counter has advertisement about 2 bedroom suites - I asked about them housekeeper NG person at counter just said, “we don’t have that” - why advertise what you don’t have. Room AC units very loud. Vending machines - ice= didn’t work, vending= takes money okay but does not deliver anything.

I used to stay here a lot when attending the Daytona 500, but I’m gonna have to book elsewhere. The staff was great, as was the service they provided. The building is very dated. They don’t do breakfast anymore. All the rooms need to be updated. The ice machines didn’t work. Again staff was good, but those other things out weight it.

It was close to restaurants, which was convenient. Floors were filthy. Our feet got black,so we had to wear shoes in our room. Staff wasn't friendly. It was an okay stay. Nothing unique about it . We were supposed to get an upgraded room, which I paid for, but when we arrived, the only upgraded room there was, was handicapped , which wasn't what we needed. So, we got a regular King, not upgraded.

Last minute stay as all the rooms were sold out downtown. Bed is probably 20 years old, very old hotel that needs updating. No breakfast but if you just need to crash for the night it’s ok.

The connecting room door was very noisy ( the people in the next room were extremely loud till nearly 1am all days we were there. The door had almost 2inch gap at the bottom.) There were no extra amenities available unlike other hotels (ie. no pool, hot tub, sauna, gym, breakfast.) Due to roadwork it was highly inconvenient to get in and out of the hotel. The water pressure for the shower was very low. It took nearly 10 minutes for the water to get hot. Ultimately this rates as one of the top 5 worst experiences in a hotel I have ever had.

The walls are VERY thin. The room next door to us had their TV on all night and we could hear it clear as day. This is also the type of property where people like to sit outside their room and talk all night, so they kept us awake for a lot of the night. We won’t be back.

The front desk staff get an A+, the housekeeping staff unfortunately failed. We got there in the middle of a downpour (that's Florida for ya!) and the lady at the front desk was kind, welcoming and made check in a breeze. We got up to the room and had my 10mo old nephew with us for a quick beach trip and we were soaked from the storm. Housekeeping was walking by and I kindly asked her for a couple extra towels. She got very annoyed and snarkily said they're in the room. To which I replied, I know, but its pouring and we just wanted to dro off but not dirty our towels which we'll need in order to shower later. She didn't even respond to me and just angrily walked away. The room was extremely dusty, painted over several times with paint peeling on the door hinges and fixtures in the bathroom. The beds were very clean and comfortable enough for a one night stay. We made due but couldn't let the baby down at all or bathe him there becauase it wasn't clean enough.

Kevin the front desk agent was awesome. He was very friendly and welcoming. We needed two rooms which we wanted the room to be side by side although we could not have them side by side he was able to place us very close just having a room between us. We also got locked out of one of our room. I called the front desk and without hesitation Kevin came immediately to the room to open our room door and gave us a new key. Kevin is a great front desk agent that takes his job serious and he is not afraid to go the extra mile for the guest. Go Kevin go.Keep up the great work.

They gave us a room for disabled, so the shower was very inconvenient. We had no water pressure in shower. The room was next to office there was alot of people coming in and out. When I bring it to the girl in the front attention, she told me that at least we will be safe because we were next to the office. Which made me feel like the place was not safe. Then the room Next to us had a dog who did not stop barking when I told the front office that I was exhausted and just wanted to sleep told me you can just check out. The TV didn't work no Internet and every time I bring something to the attention of the front desk i was told you can check out.

The Red Roof in Plus, was fairly clean and pleasant to be in. the staff of the establishment were very Helpful and Pleasant. We were expecting housekeeping to come to our room during the day to give us clean towels and coffee, however that did not happen. We did have to deal with Construction and huge potholes getting into the Hotel, but I do not take that factor into consideration seeing they have little control over it. I will be considering another stay at the Red Roof Inn on my next trip.

The Red Roof in Plus, was fairly clean and pleasant to be in. the staff of the establishment were very Helpful and Pleasant. We were expecting housekeeping to come to our room during the day to give us clean towels and coffee, however that did not happen. There was vomit on the stairs. There were ants in my room. The sheets and blankets smelled like sour cigarette smoke. Guests in nearby rooms blared music and talked loudly most of the night. Someone in the parking lot repeatedly honked a horn, revved an engine, and squealed tires. Every time the air conditioner came on, it filled the room with the smell of cigarette smoke & marijuana. I called the front desk re: the noise and the smells, and the lady I spoke with said she would address the issues, but the noise continued for quite awhile thereafter, and the smells were not addressed. She never followed up with me re: my complaints. I booked 2 nights but left after 1 night. Wish I'd left a lot sooner!

For a quick 1-2 night stay, it’s not horrible. There’s an outlet mall and restaurants nearby which was nice. Front desk was helpful in getting all of our rooms near one another (multiple family members with reservations).

My only real problem was road construction made it difficult to drive into hotel's parking. Should have been only a few minutes but took over 30 minutes to arrive. Hotel stated this had been going on for over 2 years. Had I known it was this bad would have not booked here.

Red Roof is generally an above-average chain, and I was pleased with the cleanliness and layout of this room, and with the courtesy of the staff. It was a comfortable stay. One problem: Lots of construction disruption along SR 16 makes getting in and out of the area a problem. I assume that will end at some point, but as of Summer 2024 it's very annoying.

Last minute stay as all the rooms were sold out downtown. Bed is probably 20 years old, very old hotel that needs updating. No breakfast but if you just need to crash for the night it’s ok.

Staff was super friendly! Has a taco bell right next to the hotel. Food trucks across the street and the shopping center not far from it .

We enjoyed our 3 day stay. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Only complaint is the coffee in the lobby was pretty weak.

Coffee in the lobby is great! Staff was very nice & friendly, rooms were clean. Only thing is, the location is one where a lot of construction workers do long term stays, they party in parking lot, weren't causing any trouble, just a little noisy & they leave a lot of garbage, didn't really bother us for the most part & I don't fault the property for that, but we're also pretty easy going and I know this may bother some other people 😏

Coffee in the lobby is great! Staff was very nice & friendly, rooms were clean. Some of the rooms lack a microwave. They have a breakfast room, but it's closed and they don't offer breakfast. For a Red Roof Plus, it's mediocre. The owner must be really cheap.

In the morning the custodians make so much noise with the little push cars for cleaning the rooms The staff for check in was little rough and no welcoming. The hotel does not offer any breakfast.

The property advertised free breakfast. There was none provided at all. This is why we booked this property because of breakfast being provided. We had to pay out of pocket expenses. Not happy at all. Never stay here again

I booked this hotel so my dog could come with me. So that was super great, however, I was told there would be breakfast (on their website) and Hotels.com. It is another reason why I book hotels. I LOVE BREAKFAST. So I was rather disappointed when I found out they don't do breakfast, with no explanation, even though they have a designated breakfast room. Perhaps Hotels.com should find out if they really have what they put on their website. No doggie bags on site, so when walking through the courtyard, you had to be very careful not to step in other's dog's poop. We pick up after our dogs, but there were several piles to be weary when walking dogs in that grassy area by the pool. However, the rooms was clean and comfortable. Staff were all very friendly at check in and when I left my key in the room...twice! WI-FI worked for me to do some work in my room. Which was handy. So there are always positives. But I wouldn't go back because I like breakfast.

I have nothing good to say about my stay here. I have stayed at several hotels and one really close by to this one & I must say that my stay last night was by far the worst experience I have ever had. First of all I did not get ANY SLEEP due to the bed being hard as a rock and so all I did was toss and turn and couldn’t get comfortable and that was the whole point of renting the room so I’m upset. I’m exhausted and have a long drive/busy day today & I wish I would’ve spent a little more and stayed any where but here. They list that there is a pool here however it’s closed in the brutal hot summer in Florida and that’s ridiculous! The grass was so tall and there is fire ants every where to the point my small dog didn’t even want to walk in grass and there was no area to let my dog run and play without being on leash with me so I got no break while here. It was SO NOISY THROUGHOUT The night and morning!! & the ice machine is all the way up on second floor so therefore I had to walk all the way to top far back corner & then the machine barely gave me any ice. I’m going through a hard time and customer service was just ehhh compared to the amazing service I have received elsewheee. Will never stay here again and now I will be more careful before booking somewhere so don’t believe good reviews or reviews stating good things because they could be lies. I would have rather have stayed in my car or spent $10 more somewhere else where it’s comfortable and I could’ve slept.

Cleaning of the rooms must of been optional, walls were disgusting behind the trash cans. Unable to get the TV to work with attempts of resetting. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Thankfully it was just a stop to sleep onto the next destination.

The best part of our visit was our hotel room. It was nice and everything worked. You could see areas where the floor was not the cleanest, in corners etc but for the most part it was in decent condition, The bath tub was clean and most other areas. Maintenance however seemed to be poor, their was a ring around the main entrance switch where the painter just left it and other things that seemed to be half way done. The ice maker was missing, and the stairs and outer areas were not clean and needed to be painted. Just small efforts would make a big difference in the outer grounds. One person was singing in the parking lot. Our main complaint was there were people hanging around the parking area all night long, some coming and going. Also a pathway through the weeds at the rear corner of the parking lot where people were walking to a nearby property. These things bring only one conclusion to my mind but hopefully I am wrong.

Check in starts at 3, I got there at 4 with my room already prepaid and reserved. The room was not ready and I had to wait an hour for my room to be cleaned. After all of that my keycards constantly stopped working and I had to go to the front desk 3 times with my toddler very inconvenient. Also they claim it’s a non-smoking hotel, the room reeked of cigarettes and the we were looking forward to the pool and it was unavailable due to a crack in it
