Quality Inn St Augustine Historic District Area

Quality in name only! This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Don't walk away - run. As soon as you get to the front desk, despite the "deal" you'll get on Hotels.com or a similar platform, they are going to hit you with a $10 parking fee. I have never heard of such a thing in all my travels - not to mention, their parking lot is enormous and not filled up by any means. Then, once you get to your room - cheap, cheap, cheap. Obviously, when booking a stay such as this one, most of us are not looking for luxury - just a place to stay that is clean and safe. This property barely meets these thresholds - absolutely everything in the room and around the property is cheap, cheap, cheap, and this ownership is looking to "nickel dime" you however they possibly can. Entire atmosphere is hostile and the entire place is crap.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean with parking in front of your room. We really enjoyed the beds and bedding which were extremely comfortable! They had a free hot breakfast of eggs, sausage and waffles along with coffee, juice and cold cereal options. A very nice dog park is on the property and fenced. Bathroom towels were nice but only the minimal toiletries were supplied, one small bar of soap and a shampoo/conditioner dispenser in shower. We appreciated the tissue dispenser in the dressing area. Please note: a notepad, pencil/pen, laundry bag or extra trash can liners not supplied in the room but would be helpful and nice to have available if needed. We were disappointed to find the pool was closed, the soda vending machine close to our room was not working and the laundry room was not in service (door knob removed). These should have been available as described in the hotel amenities. The Hotel shuttle service is $5 per room per day for transportation to the Fort and St. George Street area which is an excellent service provided. You should plan on using the shuttle or driving to the historic section for it is NOT within walking distance from hotel. You'll find Parking is expensive and difficult to locate, especially at night in the historic downtown.

Room was clean and updated. Breakfast was great and dining area was clean. Staff was very helpful!

Sehr ruhiges Zimmer und die Innenstadt ist sehr gut erreichbar, das Frühstück hat für USA Verhältnisse auch gepasst. Die Anlage ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.
