The front office staff was very nice and friendly. The dining options were great and in walking distance. Parking was easily accessible. The rooms were okay but very basic...no decor. The window air conditioner was noisy even though it cooled great. No T.V. guide you just had to search randomly. The breakfast was very limited.

If I could go be 0 stars for cleanliness I would. The beds looked and felt dirty. The floors were very dirty. The non smoking room smelled like cigarettes and nasty. Breakfast was garbage. They ran out of coffee. The shower water was cold. The elevator was broke.

I love the stay although when it was time to check out after 2 days, the man in the office refused to give me my 100 dollar deposit because one of the towels got a mark on the from the HOTEL pool tables that were cracked and brown junk got on one of the towels ! ALSO there is NO jacuzzi or steam room like the pictures they have posted! Other than that it was a great stay for a beach weekend out of town

Very deteriorated room furniture, torn curtains, very dirty sofa, deteriorated tables. elevator deteriorated breakfast in the restaurant regular microwave damaged I would not recommend it

There was no breakfast during the week, only on the weekends. The beds were hard and infested with bed bugs( I had red swell marks on my right arms), WiFi constantly went out. The only thing that was good was the price.

This property is in awful condition. Shouldn't have guests until renovations are absolutely complete. We had 2 rooms. 210,my nieces room,had cockroaches running all over. She threw away her toothbrush because so many bugs in the bathroom

It was dirty and we had mold growing in our pull out sofa! And then when we got moved rooms, it was just as bad. Looked like mold was growing in the closet ceiling and the furniture was all warped and dirty. Anything metal was rusty. The room was painted half assed. The tiles in the bathroom were cracked and it looked like gum or putty plugging a hole/leak. I’ve never stayed at such a nasty hotel for the amount we paid to stay there. On top of that the 2nd night we stayed we got locked out of our room and had to go to dinner in our bathing suits. The staff was the only thing awesome about this place. The pics online do not match what they are selling!!!

The floors were so dirty that my feet were black after just a few minutes of walking around the room in my bare feet. After washing my feet, I had to lay towels on the floor to avoid getting black feet again. The room had no closet.

Noisy, lots of suspicious looking characters hanging around, very limited breakfast with few items, old and run down and nowhere near Tropicana Field. Plus, my room had bedbugs. At least the water, TV, AC and wifi worked and there are lots of places to eat and shop nearby. Good in a pinch. Avoid if you have a choice.

Terrible hotel / dirty and strong smell of mold / asked manager for new room but they refused and I was supposed to stay 3 nights but couldn’t take it after the second with the mold smell when running the A/C and they charged me an early departure fee

Got a room on the south side, close to 34th st, so their was road noise but no worse than any other hotel on this street. Front desk was friendly even though they were having an Internet issue. Got my room quickly, Room was nice, bed clean and made . Bathroom was clean and stocked. Fridge and microwave were both clean. Nice TV that hooked right up to my laptop via HDMI. Wifi was adequate, as good as any other wifi I had in a hotel. Some of the other guests did get a little boisterous in the evening but nothing to touch. They all had fun . The pool was crystal clear. The buildings are in good shape overall

The rooms are clean and reasonably quiet. The beds are brutal to the point that we left a day early because my back just couldn't face another night in that horrible bed. The bathrooms are clean and spacious but you won't get service daily, they do them every 3 days. We didn't have a problem with that because we tend to tidy up after ourselves. The front desk was a mix of trying to be friendly and rather snotty. This was our second year staying at this location and I'm sad to say we won't be back.

we stayed on a suite and it was spacious and really nice, the only thing I can say about the room is that the bathroom area was not pretty, has “mold” and on a past was white and now is like yellowish. But overall really nice. Staff was friendly and really nice. Definetly will stay here again.

Good location if you have a car to get around, within about a 20 minute drive of just about anything you'd like to do. Clean, relatively well maintained, smelled a little damp when we walked in, but that's mainly just a FL thing. The major issue was that the bed was very hard and the pillows were old and lumpy. If you like a hard bed, this probably isn't a problem, but my wife and I woke up a bit sore from the hard mattress. Also, breakfast, like with most of these places, was over way too early. We went to check out at 9 and everything was completely cleaned up and over.

We got in very late and Ty was about so sweet. When I walked in he was dealing with what seemed a difficult situation, but his amazing attitude never changed towards the other lady or with helping me. The room was very clean. Air was super cold, which we love. The only complaint I have would be that the beds are hard (which I like) but it looked like they were put on futon beds. All the other staff we came in contact with us were all very polite. If we are ever back in St Petersburg we will be staying again.

Terrible stay. The area was very noisy and it felt unsafe. Everything was dirty, the beds were uncomfortable, and my shower didn’t have a shower curtain. When I finally got one from the front desk, I stepped on a piece of broken glass that was in the shower. I went to the front desk to show them the piece of glass I had in my foot and to tell them that I had bled in the shower and towels. The front desk woman was more concerned about the security deposit. She said she’d relay it to her manager, but I never heard anything.

While everything about the facility and my stay was great, they hit me with a $100 security deposit that does not get refunded until 3 to 5 business days after checkout. I understand if they feel the need to have that as their policy, but if you’re on a tight budget for the trip, this creates a big inconvenience. Some warning before I booked the room would have been nice.

There was nothing to like. The walls to our room had holes in them to the outside walkway. Front desk was less than helpful. On our check out day, we walked into the lobby to find an employee with a guest in a headlock and the police arriving. Totally an unsafe environment, especially with rooms having tenants live in them full time. I would never return to this establishment!

From the time I arrived, the Staff was rude to me. I had driven 5 hours and ask to use the restroom while they checked me in (and they had my ID and bank card). I was told NO. Later I had a complaint about noise in the next room. They called the room and told them I was complaining. The other guest knocked on my door wanting to know what MY problem was. This should have been handled by management not causing an argument between guest.

Old white guy got mad bc I only had $100 bill to pay for a bag of cookies. He cancelled my reservation for the following night without telling me and left me—61yo woman with a 24yo son in a wheelchair— to be kicked out by other staff in the morning with no place to stay. All over a damn bag of cookies.

Service was excellent. Front desk people who checked me in were very helpful and pleasant. Hotel itself looked a little "tired;" like it could use some updating or painting. Pool was very nice in the late afternoon. A very good place to stay.

The hotel is old so there is wear and tear such as steps etc. that need repair. The counter person Tyshon was excellent. His service standard made the stay pleasant. The area make sure car does not have belongings visible.

Stayed here because it is close to Tropicana Field. The area is not very nice but the hotel staff work to keep the property safe. Staff is very courteous and friendly. There is a nice pool! Fridge and microwave in room. Okay for a quick stay to go to the game. Just be cautious of your surroundings.

If there’s something I really dislike it’s being misled or lied to. Quality suites at Tropicana Field? It’s a 15 minute drive to the Tropicana field area from here and the explanation was that they were the only hotel when Tropicana first opened. That was in the late 90s. It’s time you revised that description and quit misleading people. For the price I paid it was definitely not worth doing. If it wasn’t such a tight month for me, I would’ve walked off and left no matter what. The staff were rude. The hotel is filthy, there was somebody’s mouthguard, sitting outside our door when we checked in and the smell inside the room was masked urine. A hot bath after a long day would have been nice, but no stopper for the tub. Yanked clean out. Never again I will book through someone else next time.

This property is convenient and cost effective. It’s not the newest or nicest, but the staff does a great job and you don’t have to spend hundreds of dollars on a place that you barely spend any time at anyways. It was clean and comfortable.

Was definitely a lot better experience than my last visit at a quality inn in new jersey. The one in new jersey kept 50 of my hundred dollar deposit for ratting them out to choice hotels and hotels.com for not having a hot breakfast. This place had it right!. Only thing. That they didn't have that they said they had on their website was a hot tub. Other the that!.. they were great!

Chose a property w/ breakfast included and that was important to us. As it turns out they only offer a breakfast on Sat & Sundays & we are here for work through the week…not happy and truly belive they are marketing this properly under false pretenses. I will never come back! Rooms were just OK but not truly clean.

My room was a "non-Smoking" room but as soon as you opened the door you could smell someone had.. not real recent.. but could still smell it.. The tub was so stained it looked like tar was in it.. cigarette burns on the edge of the tub.. The toilet was so low to the ground and loose it was almost scary.. Also the website states breakfast is included.. it however does not state only on weekends..

On Expedia and sign at the property, it says breakfast included. They neglect to say that it is only Friday-Sunday which I think is false advertising. No way I would let the kids take a bath in the tub. There was black mold in bathroom. Will NEVER choose this hotel again!

Very good stay. A lot of value for the money. Free breakfast is only on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. No breakfast offered the rest of the week. Hotel staff courteous and attentive.
