Forgot that I've stayed here before. Room is rather sparse. No frig. No microwave, etc. The toilet ran. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet and the shower nice. It is fine for me.

Ok of a property but could improve if at least they would provide rooms with coffee makers and breakfast area . Replacing the gel soap dispensers with sope bars would be a good idea as those dispensers hardly put out enough sope in one stroke to even wash your face, several pumps are necessary in able to have sufficient for body wash.

The accomodations here were about half as good as a hotel room that would cost twice as much. Can't really complain, then, since the room cost only $56. But throwing on clothes and walking 100 ft in the cold to the lobby for morning coffee was really a bummer.

warning, no elevator also, the exit out of the hotel is terrible. to get back onto the freeway, you have to make an immediate left from the hotel, sit at a light, and then make a left. there's traffic coming from all ways making it difficult to find an opportunity to safely make your left turn.

One of the filthiest if not the filthiest. Just gross. Hotels.com should take off their list immediately!!! Hotels.com already charged my card before arrival. I absolutely would have done a chargeback and because hotels.com recommended this place I can no longer trust them as a site for hotel needs.

This was the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced. The cleanliness was also the worst. There were stains on the sheet, a terrible odor/stench in the room, black spots on the sheets (indicating bedbugs), rips and holes in the sheets and a dampness in the entire room that left it very uncomfortable. I experienced insect bites all over my legs and I was forced to check out early due to the condition of the room. I have requested a refund. The manager was not helpful. Instead of offering to assist in improving the room, the manager indicated there would be an investigation. An investigation? Wow - that is the worst customer service I have ever received. This was a completely horrendous experience and I am certain that I will never stay at a Red Roof, recommend a Red Roof, etc. I have stayed at many hotels over the years, both inexpensive and not, and this was the worst on every criteria. Cleanliness and customer service are definitely not a priority for Red Roof Inn. I hope hotels.com will take them off of their list.

This is the most disgusting place! We came to FSU Parents Weekend and could not believe the problems at this hotel. There was mold everywhere! No soap, disgusting fridge with old drink in it and something spilled in the inside. Dead roach in the floor and huge spider in a web on the wall. Worst thing was waking up to water all over the floor from the air conditioner. My husband stepped out of bed in the morning into water everywhere. And there were electrical cords laying in the water too. We’re so lucky he didn’t get electrocuted! The hotel had gouged us for the two nights we were there - $388 per night! - because of parents weekend. They took 20% off one night but refused to do anything else. Stay away from this place! It’s not safe or clean. The smell from the mold was overwhelming.

The bed sheets had yellow stains, the A/C was extremely noisy, and the entire room smelled like mold. The floors were filthy, and we even found spiders in the room. The door hinge was broken, adding to the overall unsafe and neglected condition. We have never stayed in a hotel this terrible. We were supposed to stay for two nights but checked out after the first and went to a much better hotel. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this location!

There were cockroaches in room and no toilet paper in bathroom. We brought this up to their attention and we were switched not another room. Opened up bed and found another cockroach in the bed. Front door had a chunk missing on the bottom corner. Air conditioning unit was rusted and roomed smelled like there was a lot of mold. We left.

This place is nothing like advertised! There was paint peeling off the walls and door. Filth in the corners of the bathroom, toilet wobbled, room smelled like mold, pubic hairs were in tub! Absolutely disgusting! Had to stand out in chilly weather to wait for the staff to make beds! Not at all as ad descibes on Expedia!

We were tired and stayed , but did not use the shower as it was dirty and trash was on the bathroom floor. Yellow spots on towels and sheets. COuld be a nicer place but need better dleaners.

Horrible. They have roaches. The sheets are stained and dingy. I had to go buy sheets and pillows. If I could have found another room I would've left. The bathroom had a used face cloth hanging on the shower rod.

The door to the room would not open for many tries even though received green light. Room smelled of bleach and urine. Was on trip with son to see ballgame .Waited 46 yrs to see. The tub area was clean. Beds were not comfortable very bumpy. Air condition unit was almost disassembled. Location was good. But condition s wee almost undoable.. With game in town prices were high. This more affordable so we stayed. Over the years Red Roof has been very on scale this one did not achieve expectations. Would not return.to this location.

Staff during check in and check out were friendly. However, room had a strong smell of mold, and door was rusted and had a hole big enough for rodents to enter. We were only there to sleep a couple of hours after a long road trip, and checked in too late to bother with requesting a room change. I do suffer from Athsma and allergies, so needless to say, I am having a flare up after the stay. The nightstands were equipped with USB and plug, but USB port did not work. Lastly, check-out is at 11am, but yet we had housekeeping knocking on our door just before 10am, which I was surprised about, as I believe it should be a standard procedure on or after 11:00am. Ultimately, I would. or choose to stay here again.

Apparently they had just remodeled this room. It appeared that it hadn’t been cleaned after the remodel. There was what I was told construction dust all over the room. I thought it was cat litter. It was in the drawers of the dresser all over the floor everywhere. I can’t imagine that they didn’t see it. There wasn’t a remote control for the TV and then when I got one, it didn’t turn the TV on. The bed had some kind of a cover on it that caused it to feel very clammy. I didn’t get to sleep until after 2:30 and someone that worked there maybe on the landscaping crew was yelling outside of my door at 7 AM not the way I wanted to wake up after a short night Overall it was not a good experience

The people were very nice and kind, the room was really ugly and run down. It was way over-priced. The bed squeaked, and was uncomfortable. It may have been as clean as they could get it, but it just looked dirty. First and last stay.

This was the worst experience that we have had at a Red Roof so far. Will not stay at this location again. The first room had the TV turned on when we went in and there was no remote to change channels or turn it off. The representative at the check in desk gave us another remote and it did not work. Ended up moving us to another room and the air did not work and the drawers on the furniture pieces were broken and knobs were missing. The headboard and the floor were filthy and there was a lot of damage to the room. Thank goodness we were only in there for a few hours to sleep halfway through a long road trip.

The shower knob was very difficult to turn and I was afraid it was going to break. The paint on the ceiling was peeling off and the bed and pillows were hard as a rock. Room was clean and perfect for a quick rest on a long road trip.

The room smelled like cigarettes. It was a non-smoking room . There was hair on the bed that wasn't mine when I first got there. The grips on the bottom of the bathtub or black and unclean. There was no microwave or refrigerator in my bedroom. When my key wouldn't work there was no one in the office to let me in to get a new key so I was just stranded outside. The bed was uncomfortable. My sister and I were there for three nights. Our trash was never emptied, beds never made, towels never replaced. We had to either call for towels each night or go and pick them up. The person assigned said the room was cleaned and I told them to go look at the used towels stacked in the corner of the bathroom and to look at the over flowing trash can and the bags of trash next to it. I will never stay there again.

Upon arriving I had to wait 20 mins for the desk person to arrive and check me in. Going to my room there were several people outside of it doing drugs. I attempted to enter my room only to find out the keycard didnt work. I had to go back to the office and get another one. No apologies were given. Inside the room the TV remote didn’t work. It looked like a dog had chewed on it. There were zero towels in the room. Upon leaving I expressed my disappointment to the same desk clerk and again no apologies. I find out the next day that an additional 50.00 was charged to my credit card

I attempted to enter my room only to find out the keycard didnt work. I had to go back to the office and get another one. No apologies were given. Inside the room the TV remote didn’t work. It looked like a dog had chewed on it. There were zero towels in the room. Upon leaving I expressed my disappointment to the same desk clerk and again no apologies. I find out the next day that an additional 50.00 was charged to my credit card

Everytime i visit the red roof inn in Tallahassee. My family as well as myself are treated like family rooms are always clean and the staff is so helpful there's one young lady that stands out shes ALWAYS smiling and in a great mood her name is ivette she's always so nice and helpful and outgoing thank you for treating us like family

The Red Roof Inn is an Overbooked hotel run by an extremely rude, unprofessional and uncaring staff member. NEVER book this hotel period. Upon check in we went to the first room that was absolutely digusting. Staff was nice and understanding and gave us a different room, when we went in it someone’s things were in there. Basically they hadnt checked out yet. A third room was given but again was quite dirty. Within the hour of switching 3 rooms we asked if we could just have our money back and we would find another hotel. The front desk person was kind enough to give us our security deposit but the hotel manager wanted to charge us for that 1hr as a full night. We are still waiting on our full refund.

The staff is what made the stay really great. We arrived pretty late and the temperature had dropped. The heater wasn’t working in our rooms and the front desk was quick to transfer us to different rooms. They were quick to respond when we needed additional towels and always had hot free coffee in the lobby available. Everyone was very pleasant. The main drawback was the cleanliness of the rooms when it came to bugs. We saw some tiny baby roaches in both rooms/ bathrooms. However, both beds were clean! The bathroom tub in one of our rooms was also not super clean. But I can give benefit of the doubt that it’s probable maybe the room hadn’t been fully turned over since we had to change rooms at 1 am when we arrived. The hair dryer was also broken in our room. The main thing that would help this property is doubling down on fumigating for the bugs. Other than those setbacks - we had a good stay for the price and what we were looking for. The staff is great and helped enhance our experience. Location was good for dining experiences and stores.

Our room keys did not work multiple times. We came back late and there were several men with their pants down hanging out in the parking lot. The young lady at the front desk was so friendly and tried her best to accommodate us. She deserves a raise!

The hotel was very hard to find as there were no signs and it was tucked up a hill behind Cracker Barrel. In looking on my phone i couldn't find an actual address other than University in its name so thought it was downtown. When i called the front desk for directions was sent in the opposit direction The place itself was nice with lots of little touches i appreciated. I am an older traveler and finding this hotel was a real stresser. When heading east on the way home one could see the Red Roof sign butt not heading west....

Room had dirt in every corner Shower had what appeared to be pubic hairs on the walls Ceiling paint was peeling Baseboards and walls were chipped and in need of painting Wi-Fi did not work for three days Television would only work on certain stations National stations like Fox and CNN would work for 2-3 minutes and then go off Tv was so old that I couldn’t sign on to Netflix The entire place on the outside was hard to breath at all hours because of the marijuana in the air I was told the hotel was raided a few weeks ago and lots of prostitutes were arrested. Prostitution seems to still be going on They advertise coffee 24 hours a day. I had to be at work at 6:00 AM and when I went for coffee at 5:15, I was told they had not made it yet. They did make it right away. Second day was the same and then they had it every morning. 1:30 AM the smoke detector went off. I took it to the office for fresh battery, two days later they still had no battery and I gave up at that point. The box springs were broken on one side of the bed Dog waste station was not emptied and is right outside the room doors. Smells

Just make sure you ask them to make the room daily because I didn't and they never came to do the room. I went to get coffee in the lobby twice and both times it was locked bc the front desk agent was walking the property. Other than that, it was fine and i love the a/c noise in order to sleep.

The accomodations here were about half as good as a hotel room that would cost twice as much. Can't really complain, then, since the room cost only $56. But throwing on clothes and walking 100 ft in the cold to the lobby for morning coffee was really a bummer.

When I checked in the water had been shut off for several hours. I was not informed of that and when I figured it out I called the front desk and was told they hoped to have it back within a few more hours. There was no refrigerator in the room. No microwave in the room. No breakfast in the morning. And the staff did not speak English.
