Creekside Inn

Choose rooms at the "back" of the hotel facing the water. Rooms located at the front face a busy highway (had construction when we stayed and it was loud). The rooms facing the water are peaceful and lots of boats, fish and birds to look at. Rooms are mediocre and consistent with the price. We didn't have any hot water in the room. Air conditioner was too loud to sleep with it on. Grocery stores, restaurants etc about 1 km down the road. If you spend most of your time outside the hotel exploring and need a place to sleep and drop off your stuff, this might be for you. If you are looking to stay at the hotel for some R and R, you might want to choose a different location. Staff friendly. 2 pools on site (not heated) Lots of seating areas outside by the water. They have bbq you can use and fire pits

Great spot for having your boat right on the water behind your unit. Well appointed rooms. Close to bars and restaurants. Great island vibe! We will be back

Great location right on the creek. Rooms very spacious and comfortable with regular size refrigerator. Two really nice pools. Definitely would come back.

Love the Property, Fishing off the back side doch, BBQ Facilities, clean and complete rooms ! Will come back for sure!

Two pools but a little construction going on while we were there made getting to them a little odd. But once the construction is finished on the waterside walkway all will be good.

Cool location. You can walk out your back door and fish right off the dock.

We stayed here off season, the price was right. There is decline in the appearance of the property, looks like they may be trying to fix it up. Breakfast and the bar was closed. The office hours are hit or miss, but the ladies are sweethearts. The pool we had all to ourselves and extremely clean. In a great location for shopping , restaurants and all around. We had a king room on the canal, that was so nice.

The area of the hotel we stayed in had caution tape by the creek. We could not enjoy that area safetly

Waterview room was very nice, just step out the door and catch a fish.

Great place, beautiful view of the creek behind our room, even saw a Manatee! Staff was very friendly and informative my room was large & beds very comfortable, it was very quiet. I only saw one pool (they have 2) and it was very clean and nice. There were only a couple issues I had 1. No hot water - It gets lukewarm if you wake around 5am but otherwise fridgidly cold! Sadly made showering impossible. 2. The TV connection wasn't great, the shows skipped or went to a screen saying "no connection" every 5-10 min. 3. Floors weren't terribly clean-I had to toss my white socks when I got home. But everything else was very clean. However, for what I needed it was liveable and I will happily stay here again!

Empezando por la habitación que yo reserve una con vista al canal y me dieron otra sin vista ninguna ,la habitación estaba sucia el baño nunca lo limpian la cortina llena de moho y las toallas y sábanas viejas de un siglo y manchadas las piscinas igual ,no lo recomiendo . Starting with the room, I booked one with a view of the canal and they gave me another one without any view. The room was dirty, the bathroom was never cleaned, the curtain was full of mold, and the towels and sheets were old and a century old, and the pools were stained as well. I do not recommend it.

The creekside was immaculate, lovely clean airy room. Nice bed linen and covers. Bathroom had lots of little extras like , shampoo, body cleansing soap, shower cap, body lotion etc.The staff were lovely. The area was nice with a very good restaurant Lido 73 next door on the waterfront. Quiet area and safe.

Room its self seemed clean the only area of question would be the shower curtain had some mold on it

Room was not clean. TV did not work properly. Leftover food in refrigerator.

Reviews on hotels.com were super promising, but the room we stayed in was a huge disappointment. The lights flickered, tv remote didn’t work, and the bathroom was disgusting (body hair everywhere, a very dirty shower curtain, and no hot water). We were originally booked for 2 nights but we left first thing in the morning and didn’t return.

Our room was VERY dirty. We didn't want to take our shoes off. The decorations had inches of dust on them, under the beds looked like it hadn't been swept in months.

The room was not clean (we found quite some hair in bed). When we asked for cleaning and new towels, we noticed an old towel was picked up from the floor and hung over shower rod. Floor was sticky from cleaning products, balcony table had cigarette ashes on it. We spend 600 for 2 nights, I'd expect better than that.

The room was dirty, there were hairs and stains on the sheets, and the white towels had brown stains on them.

I only stayed one night but overall, Creekside was better than I was expecting. For an old keys motel type inn, it was very clean and well kept.

Noisy, can hear the next rooms and the highway. Old rusted hinges and towel racks. Noisy air conditioner. No fire in the fire pits. RUNDOWN!

We had a canal side room, but the back of the room was to the street, with a window, so not very sound proof. Also the only window to the canal was in the bathroom and frosted. The main room window was also frosted, so no way to see out anywhere! There were some chairs outside to enjoy the view.

Room was satisfactory. Only problem with our room on the north end was the lights outside the room stayed on throughout the night. There were no black out blinds on the front door windows so it allowed the light to shine brightly into our room making it hard to sleep.

Beautifully remodeled pet-friendly hotel in Isla Morada. Tiny rooms but you dont need more than that while in paradise! Would stay again for sure.

Good midway location along the Florida Keys. Having the walk-out in the back of the room giving access to the pier along the creek was very pleasant for the evening sunset and morning coffee. Older property with very small bathroom, but comfy bed. Front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful.

The property is aged, but the room was super clean, comfy except the pillows were cement! Unfortunately there was a lot of construction making access to hotel and restaurants congested.

Disappointing! Wasn’t allocated room that was shown in room pictures. Room was very small and although they had tried to modernise still much in need of further modernisation. Felt like hotel grounds hadn’t been cared for in a while. But good location as half way stop through the Keys.

This resort is right on the highway so noise was an issue all night. Also there were no curtains on the windows. There were blinds but they were not enough. It was like daylight all night.

All around decent place. One bed rooms are small but,, two bed rooms are quite large.

Terribly uncomfortable bed, however the location was beautiful.

It was easy to park. No-one was at reception despite it being around 5pm. I eventually found an email in my spam giving me a code for a key box. I was given room number 100. This room is probably the worst one in the Inn. It is right next to the reception with loads of people standing outside complaining. It also needs blackout curtains as the room never goes dark because of the outside lights. There is also significant noise from traffic. I'm sure the management already knows this and have done nothing about the problems. The water in the shower is barely warm. This is the worst review I have ever written.

The location of the hotel is very nice but for the price we expected better service. We weren't asking for much, just basic room service 1 out of 3 days on our trip. I requested room service by leaving the tag on our door and also going to the desk to request it before we left that morning at 8:30am. We came back at 7:30pm and nothing had been touched. When I went to the front desk to ask for fresh towels I was told I was the 9th or 10th person that did not get room service as requested. At this time, they came and got our dirty towels and let me know that some clean ones were in the dryer and it would be another 10 minutes. After about 30 minutes of waiting and no towels showing up, I went up to the front desk again - at which point we finally got some towels so I could get my daughter showered and in bed. The building itself is very old and worn down. The only thing they have going is the beds are comfortable and the location is good. If you care about nothing else, this might be then place for you. We will not stay here again.

Always clean. Conveniently located and friendly staff.

Property doesn’t answer phone and doesn’t respond to emails so left us with a lot of unanswered questions when traveling. Properties auto email with their availability for check in states only from 4-9 and then they called asking for our ETA because they close at 6:30. Very frustrating experience. Would not recommend

The property is old. Staff were friendly and hard working. Checking in was a breeze, and we were given a lot of useful information about the area. Our room was cleaned and supplies were restocked as needed. The hotel is in a great location, and we will stay there again!

Horrible!!! This location was advertised as something much different than what it was. Find a new spot. Dirty bed sheets & towels, bad plumbing, very loud not able to sleep! I called ahead to notify the front desk that I was delayed and I was concerned about missing the check in time listed as until 9pm. The man at the front desk said i would be able to pickup my room key at anytime. He said that I had room number #123. He said this room key would be in the lock box and that I would be sent info via expedia messages for the after hours pickup protocol (he said he would be locking up the hotel lobby by 7pm). I arrived at 8pm and no email was sent to me and no info was given for the lockbox. I called all 3 numbers listed on the exterior of the hotel. The same man from earlier finally picked up and said oh okay but then he hung up on me. I called again and he said oh yes yes i am on the way. I explained no email came and no other hotel employees were reachable. He pulled up a several mins later and said I have the room key on the desk not in the box. I asked its still the room that I reserved that you confirmed as room #123 as he handed me a key to room #139 (in the older 2nd building). I was told that my room was in the newer main building and he then informed me that he gave my room away to another guest because he thought i was not coming. All of this even after I confirmed a late checkin was possible as listed online as available until 9pm. Just dont stay here if possible.

Had a terrible experience in that hotel. Checking in was easy and the staff was friendly gave us beach towel and everything went well. Next day when we ask to exchange our towels the manager was there and asked us to leave a piece of ID in exchange for new towels!! Obviously I could not leave my piece of ID and drive around without it so I refused and they denied me new towels. Then she started to videotape me as I was really irritated which irritated me even further and then she asked me out of the office and called the police and force me to leave the property. Never ever in my life had to be escorted out of hotel as a result of refusing to leave my piece of ID in exchange for towels. We've been to many hotels different places in the world that was the worst ever experience. I didn't believe the reviews or rather I didn't want to believe them, but now I regret not listening to other people warning about this place! I connected with the owner which promised me to resolve the issue but never heard back from him!! Terrible place and left us with very bad impression about the whole area!

There is no staff. Their confirmation email said they'll let you check in early if you phoned ahead. So I did. We were only looking to get into the room at 3:30 instead of 4pm. But the reception office was closed with a sign on it saying they won't check anyone in until 4pm. So that made for a long wait to check in when they finally did open the office because there were four other families waiting to check in. Our tv did not work, despite numerous efforts to fix it ourselves. So when I finally gave up and went to the office to tell them the tv was broken, the clerk was on the phone with someone who was trying to help her figure out how to do something on the computer. She spent ten minutes talking to the guy on Facetime until he finally heard me in the background and had to instruct the clerk that she should try to help me first. When I told her about the broken tv, she said she would send someone to the room to fix it. No one ever showed up. Not surprising because it turns out the entire hotel was out of hot water. I'm assuming the fix it guy must've been busy trying to deal with the faulty plumbing, which never got fixed. So it made for a fun stay not being able to take a shower or watch tv. When I got home I realized I left my JBL Bluetooth speaker in the room. Called the hotel to find out if the cleaning crew had found it & turned it in. Clerk said he would check & get back to me. Never did. Probably was stolen by maid or the clerk himself.

Front desk woman tried to charge me for my service animal, I'm a Vet. Had to call manager. My wife asked the woman at the desk about the TV guide on remote and the she rolled her eyes at Her. Could not lock window in room #1! So next day they moved us. Room #2's A/C did not produce any cold air, very hot night in that one. Manager says it must have stopped working because we must have left the door open or something, so then they moved us to another room. Each move resulted in a smaller and smaller room. Finally room #3!!! The shower would only give you either super hot water or super cold water, no in-between. In each of the three rooms, all of the floors were sticky and felt dirty, (even with the overwhelming smell of cleaner. They spray some type of cleaning solution on the sufaces in the rooms which smell so strong and harsh that the second you open the door, the smell literally takes your breath away. The smell is like you mixed corlox bleach with fabuloso then added spick-n-span with a touch of comet. The next morning my voice had actually changed from the smell and typically nothing bothers me. Even the TV screen was coated with that cleaner-spray. Most of the female front desk staff were very rude to the point even the manager advised he was firing one of them that week. The only one which was nice was the youngest one. I will say the manager did try but the facility is just beyond repair. Sherry the housekepper was very nice. They should promote Sherry to frontdesk.

Great communication and easy to reach when needed

Nice hotel close to excellent restaurant. On a canal, nice for fishing and having your boat with you.

The room was spacious and clean. It was nice waking up to a beautiful view of the canal. Plenty of restaurants in the area within driving distance.

The only issue is the highest noise at some rooms. Ask first if it is facing the highway. Otherwise good.

I like the excellent water view. It’s clean. Everybody at the hotel was very nice and helpful. Nice location walkable to many restaurants and different excursions offices. Affordable rates.

Road construction going on. Loud banging noise early each morning. Woke us up. Horrible traffic due to major road work.

This property provided amazing views of the boat channel. Provided fishing if guests wanted to. Property management was friendly. Within a 2 min or less walking distance, there was paddle boarding or kayaking available. My son and I had gone kayaking through this company when we stayed in key largo, and we became familiar with the area. Many of local amazing places to eat. Certainly not your 5 star hotel experience, but, the stay is clean, nice, amazing views, and well worth that morning view through the channel. (They offer bug spray at the paddle/kayak shop, buy it!)

Right on the canal and great location in proximity to great restaurants and activities

Cassandra was wonderful, friendly and helpful. But, the poperty had major road construction right out front that was very loud and access to the property was very limited. Probably a better stay if the construction wasn't so invasive.

Very neat concept being able to walk out to the pier from your room! Service was not great however. Office was not staffed when we first tried checking in, room service did not come back despite us putting the tag on the door, coffee was available in the room but no creamers, sugars or coffee cups - when I went to ask them for these - the office was empty again. Outdated but cute. Other than that, the bed was comfortable and the view was awesome. We will visit again, but hopefully the service is better :)

This place was amazing with a restaurant connected to it with amazing lobster rolls and a bar also connected with the best $5 stone crab claws. Also had a beautiful walking area near the water and chairs outside near a fire pit. The only complaint is the bed/pillows were a little uncomfortable but other than that we loved it!

We loved our stay here but this is not a fancy place. It is on a canal and is older but very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting outside our room in the mornings and evenings watching the iguanas across the canal. The pool was enjoyable. The on-site restaurant has open air seating and is not fancy but the food was FANTASTIC! It's called Made to Order. We had breakfast there and were amazed. I had the French toast made with croissants and orange batter with orange butter. Delicious. We will stay here again.

The staff was super friendly and quick to help out if questions arose- Sydney at the front seat was really wonderful - the canal outside our room was cool, bed was comfortable, there was a breakfast place that shared a parking lot open 8a-3p and a small outside bar with stone crab claws at the end of the complex open 3p-10p and still in the same old highway spot was another outside bar that had lobster rolls and fresh fish tacos or rolls made to order and beer choices in a cooler and also a great snorkel/ dive place and a kayak/ paddleboard store

Property was clean, tv remote broken, a/c had trouble during the day keeping the room cool. Breakfast is not included as advertised.

Great place to stay! We enjoy our visit every time we stay here, a little dated but very nice. Excellent location, close to movie theater, arcade, and plenty of eating/drinking options within walking distance. Front desk has limited hours but if you let them and housekeeping know what you need during working hours they take care of everything you need.

My stay at Creekside was not what I was expecting at all. The pool areas could have been a little nicer. The coffee they provide in the rooms was awful. They may want to get Keurigs. They may also want to have some kind of breakfast food, like muffins, fruits, and yogurt for their customers. There really aren't any restaurants close to get a quick breakfast. The only good thing was the king-size bed was very comfortable.

Good location, right on the water. Our room had a bad odor. Pool looked OK but we didn't use. Nice breakfast restaurant on the property.
