Stayed 1 night

I was extremely disappointed with my stay, especially considering I paid $156 for just one night. At that price, I expected at minimum a clean, comfortable, and peaceful night’s rest, and unfortunately, that was not my experience. The noise throughout the night was unacceptable. I could not determine whether it was coming from the elevator or the room above me, but it was loud and disruptive enough to keep me awake. On top of that, the ice maker was extremely loud, which only added to the problem. What bothered me even more was the location of my room. The designated smoking area was directly outside, and the cigarette smoke was strong enough that I could smell it inside my room. A guest paying $156 for a room should not have to spend the night smelling cigarette smoke or being kept awake by excessive noise. I left feeling like I paid a premium price for a very poor night’s rest. I understand that hotels cannot control every sound or every guest, but room placement, smoking areas, and excessively noisy equipment are things management can address. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I was not satisfied with my stay and do not feel I received anywhere near the value I paid for.
