Overall, I had an excellent stay! I was disappointed that the pool was closed for a day without notice and the breakfast is underwhelming… fortunately, the Whole Foods is close by and I made use of the room fridge for breakfast. Parking was costly but that seems to be common in Atlanta. The room was clean, the bed was incredibly comfy, and the shampoo, conditioner, etc. was wonderful. I’d definitely stay here again (and will ask about the pool ahead of time:)).

5 cars were broken into while security was on shift. They busted our window's. It's freezing cold we have to drive 3 hours with plastic on the windows. This has really dampened the trip. That's pure evil! We were parked right next to the hotel. Staff must be the people doing it.

I truly enjoyed the location of the hotel, but it definitely needs to undergo some renovations. I don't think the gym has ever been cleaned and the equipment is extremely dated.

Very friendly staff. Nice to have Starbucks available in the lobby. The bed was a little hard, but not terrible. Location was very convenient. The ticket/gate presented some issue with Lyft drivers. The scanner wasn’t working well and was frustrating. Overall, I would stay again.

My room had ants in it and the front desk clerk offered an apology but nothing else. The night clerk seemed to be more interested in being on his phone and not getting out of his seat to address me with concerns i had about the room. The initial desk clerk that checked me in was very nice and friendly. The elevator smelled bad and the carpets were not clean. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was below average.

I was in room 315. The A/C didn’t work well. I found a long, thick, black hair inside my bed and was forced to sleep on top of the covers with no blanket. There was a black private hair inside one of the washcloths. Lastly, there was a clot of blood around the drain in the tub. I really feel like I should be compensated for the disgusting state of the room. The front desk clerk said she’d be happy to fully refund but, since I booked via Hotels.com, she couldn’t.

The entire property was dirty. The balcony was dirty. Upon arrival our pillows were dirty there was trash under the small sofa . We requested house keeping and she came an switched out out towels but left everything including the dirty bedding . Didnt bother to make the bed or anything. This Was the worst stay ive had .

The room was standard, but in worn condition; ripped/melted shower curtain. Empty shower soap dispenser's, scraped and dented wood furniture. The halls are carpeted and AC was not on in the halls caused a moist smell and humidity to space.

We loved our stay with the Sonesta. It was 3 minutes from our Granddaughter’s apartment at Georgia Tech, and we were in the area visiting her. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property clean, and safe. The only negative I would say is it is next to the interstate highway and the traffic is loud and can be heard in the room into the morning hours. It did wake us up quite a bit the first night but by the 2nd night we did not hear it so much. But we loved it was so close to Georgia Tech and would probably stay again for that reason. It was easy on and off the interstate and traveling around the campus from that location was a breeze!

If I hadn't booked my room on discount for $84/night before taxes I would've had to raise a fuss with the front desk - I was put in a room for hearing disabled people closer to the highway. It's right next to the highway. I'm on the autism spectrum with intense hearing sensitivity. It took me over an hour to fall asleep (with sleep aids) when I got back the first night. Fortunately a friend took me in for the second night. - The track for the curtains was hanging off the wall, still functional but not in appropriate condition - I paid for a balcony and did not get it - Other areas of the walls were dirty, though carpets and counters seemed clean. PS They did a facelift of the lobby and certain areas so that their pictures look more modern. I get the feeling that, unless this one is discounted, it isn't on par with similarly priced options. But I haven't been around enough to say that for sure.

Unfortunately this was a terrible experience we arrived at the hotel to find out they charge $28 a day for parking. Room#1 My wife got stuck in the bathroom because the door jammed shut and the phone didnt work. Room#2 phone still didnt work and there was red splatter stains on couch, wall, and picture. Room#3 one of the queen beds were broken and the balcony doors handle broke off. I honestly wouldnt recommend, front desk clerk Grant tried to help and did a full refund, but i could tell in his voice that this wasnt the first complaints he has heard about room conditions.

Wasn’t informed about a 150 fee. I got it back but still. The whole parking situation in Atlanta is crazy. Secondly the room was not clean as it could’ve been. The bathroom had so much loose strands of hair I opened the door and I swore I thought it was a gigantic spider. Nope just someone’s pubeş. My tv said WELCOME STEVEN enjoy your stay. My name isn’t Steven. The worst of it is I was woken up at 7:21am with a knock on the door I didn’t answer the at 8:30 another knock claiming to be housekeeping. Check out time is 11. So either housekeeping needs some training or there is some shady stuff going on. I ended up checking out by 8:45 after showering and packing because I felt so uncomfortable. I asked the man was that normal for housekeeping to do that he said he was the housekeeping manager and no. He would “talk to them”. Upon leaving I tried to stop at Starbucks in the lobby and the lady was so slow and had an attitude. I left instead. Won’t be back.

staff are fine but their systems were down most of our stay which really impacted the quality of the stay. 'business center (computer and printer) out of action and good luck getting a room key made. also, note this is a 'sonesta 'select' which is marketing companies way of saying 'not really as good as an actual sonesta. This brand 'focuses on what you want' which apparently doesn't include having your room serviced unless you are there for 10 days. Property is in great shape. Cafe downstairs? Can only speak to the coffee which was shocking. The staff were nice enough. Ranging from helpful to dead eyed 'i can't help you' cute little dog though.

It was a great stay. Nice, clean, quiet property. Great shower as well. I ended up leaving in a hurry and forgot my jacket. The staff has been so kind and courteous. Mrs Lesia and Alexus have gone above and beyond to assist me with getting it back and walking me through the entire process. I will definitely stay here again. You can never put a price on excellent customer service. Five star all the way!

This is a great property… A highlight was one of the front desk employees, Jeremiah, went out of his way to find me some bug spray even though they didn’t have any on hand. Clean, friendly, and great location. The laundry machines on site with apple pay was a big plus. Would/will stay here again.

This was a great hotel and super convenient to downtown locations. It’s right off of the highway, and super easy to get to. Dining options in the area are fantastic! Just 10-15 minutes from the Aquarium, Coca Cola and the zoo! Only downside was the $28 daily parking fee that we were not notified about until check in. Overall, a great stay!

The room had several parts like the lamps, headboard, and the vents are dusty/dirty. The gentlemen that was at the front desk upon our check in was very pleasant. On the property description it says about food available for breakfast and also in the evening time from 6-9 pm . However, when we arrived there was no serving of food. Which we were traveling and didn’t stop to eat cause we were looking forward to eating at the hotel. That was a very big disappointment. Especially with my young daughter with us. So we had to spend unnecessary money to order pizza. And being that I am currently a government employee who is working without being paid , spending unnecessary money was very disheartening. We came to Atlanta from Tennessee for a doctor appointment so money is tight.

The staff were very focused on customer service, extremely friendly and helpful. The interior rugs probably need to be replaced. Outside patio was very nice. The location wasn't the greatest because it is right next to the highway and a bit of a walk to get to the restaurants. Not a convenient walk to get to Atlantic Station. The information on the hotel website about breakfast and a restaurant is a bit misleading. The food is microwaveable breakfast sandwiches.

They advertised on their website that they had an onsite restaurant for dinner (which they did not), they advertise that they have a continental breakfast as well (which they do not have). Was very disappointed when I found used rubber gloves shoved in the couch seat in our suit. No shampoo or body wash in the dispensers, and when asked to fill them they gave us a bottle that barely had any in it. Then in the morning went to use the bathrooms in the common area, and was pleasantly surprised how clean they were (only to find no soap in the dispensers when my little boy went to wash his hands). Then my wife comes out after using them as well and states that they had no soap in her bathroom either. Vey disappointed in Sonesta. I had preciously stayed at one of the properties in the past and was very impressed. Not so much at this one, will be going back to Marriott properties.

The incredible staff is why I stay here every year for DragonCon! I come out to Atlanta every single year for DragonCon, and the Sonesta Select Atlanta Midtown Georgia Tech is always my home base. Honestly, while the hotel itself is great, the absolute main reason I keep coming back is the incredible staff. They make the whole weekend so special. Gregg and Day were absolute rockstars, making sure everything went smoothly and welcoming me back with genuine smiles. Medewa and Tasha were so warm and attentive the entire weekend, constantly checking in to see if I needed anything and making me feel right at home.
