We needed a room change and the receptionist found another room for us. When we had a problem with the door / card key, she came up to our room with us and showed us what we were doing wrong. I read other reviews about poor service, but that was not my experience. We asked nicely and we received excellent service. For breakfast, the avocado toast was good. We needed a hotel in that area. This one was a good value and a nice stay. Yes, you must park in the parking garage, $12 / day. We had no issues with the garage / parking.

everything was good! it was a pretty view and the pool was really big and clean! the gym was great too. only downside was the bed not being so comfortable. but we only stayed 1 night so it wasn't much trouble. we would stay again for the city view, it was beautiful watching the sunset!

The pool floor was stained and the ceilings were bubbled (mold indication). The bathrooms were not clean at all. The toilets were dirty and hair was all over the floor. Lastly, a cockroach was found on the ceiling. We traveled from TN to watch the Braves game and only had the internet as a source, which failed me miserably. Do not recommend.

Stayed here for one night so that we could walk to a Braves game. Arrived at the check in time of 4pm. However, they did not let us check in until closer to 5pm because the rooms weren’t ready/clean yet. So, this messed up some of our plans. But, we eventually got up to our room. The hallway smelled of marijuana. I had brought Lysol spray because some of the reviews mentioned that the rooms smelled stale. The room smelled stale/musty when warm, but once we got the room temperature down, the smell went away. I did spray Lysol in the hallway and that helped with the marijuana smell. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was nice with appropriate water pressure and hot water. The toilet would not fill back up with water after being flushed. I informed the front desk and they said they would send an engineer the next day. We were able to fill the back of the toilet up with water to get us through our stay. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel or use the pool, but we did use the well equipped fitness center. The hotel has covered parking. One of the parking garage gates was messed up, so we were forced to use a different entrance, which was not as convenient. All of the staff we met were very friendly. The walk to the stadium took us about 30 minutes due to the traffic. There were some big hills, but overall it was a great walk. I’d stay here again for Braves games.

I came down for a funeral and booked this hotel through Hotels.com, but I was extremely disappointed with my experience. I reserved two rooms that ended up being on separate floors, which I found quite odd. After attending the funeral, repast, and family gathering, I finally checked into my room around 9:39 PM. As soon as I entered, I was hit with a terrible smell. The shower had dirt in it and didn’t function properly, there was pubic hair left in the bathroom, and the bathtub was rusted. The only reason I didn’t switch rooms was that my 3-year-old and 9-year-old were exhausted. The pool area was equally disappointing—dirty, no towels available, and large puddles of water everywhere. I will not be returning to this hotel.

The property is in a great location with convenient parking. However, the room was disgustingly dirty. After showering, I put on white socks—only for my wife to notice how quickly they turned dark. When we checked the kids' socks and hers, they were just as filthy. Our excitement instantly turned to discomfort, putting us in an uneasy mood. It made us question the cleanliness of everything else in the room.

The room was not clean. Carpet felt dirty. Bathroom was not at all cleaned. Had to pack up to go to Target to get cleaning supplies to clean up. Mold was found in the bathroom and in and around the bathroom fan. Will definitely not stay here again.

The Staff were great. They were very cordial and polite. Over the rooms were okay, but the cleanliness of the rooms was not great. Under the pullout sofa there were plastic cups, fries and other garbage, The bathroom was somewhat clean with towels, but the floors in the bathroom and throughout the suit didn’t look like they were vacuumed. Unfortunately, the last night of 4, there was a musty/foul odor, that occupied the suite we were in. It was coming from the floor along the wall next to the adjacent room. The carpet was damp, and it got onto my backpack as it was sitting on the floor along the wall. It was so bad that I could not sleep the entire night. The next morning, I left my backpack and many of my contents in it in the room as it smelt terrible. When I spoke with the person at the front desk, they were very apologetic and said they would have given us another room had we asked. I wasn’t about to wake up the rest of the room to move for about 6 hours of sleep.

When we checked in the girl at the front wasn’t really welcoming. She wasn’t rude, but didn’t inform me of anything I just had to ask all of the questions, which is fine. I’m just not used to it. Usually reception will give you all of the information up front. We got to our room and the view was great! However it smelled musty. So it clearly wasn’t getting enough air to get the moisture out. We did love the location and we walked everywhere and even walked to Truist park. We may stay here again, but unfortunately I’d look around other places first.

We got the room with a balcony, but the balcony was closed off due to maintenance. I'm not sure if we paid extra for the balcony. Then, early in the morning, the construction began, which woke us earlier than we were comfortable with 8:30 a.m. Besides that, the hotel is beautiful, and the staff is friendly, although there were no apologies or warnings about the noisy maintenance outside our balcony window.

The Good: The Check-in process was smooth and efficient. The room appeared to look clean upon entry, and definitely looked every bit of a luxurious experience. It’s located directly across from the mall and near a variety of food places. The Okay: The bathroom shower is within a tub and the placement of the shower gels and shampoos are directly underneath. The Bad: The room smelled like stagnant water (or mold?). The tub filled with water when the shower was running—despite the plug being up. Within 5 minutes, the tub was half-way filled. The Ugly: We were placed on the fourth floor. As soon as we stepped off the elevator, we heard music blasting in the hallway from one of the rooms. Since I was already told that the hotel was booked to the hilt—I knew we wouldn’t be able to switch rooms. That music and loud commotion did not stop until late. We were awakened at 2am by fighting—literal furniture moving fighting directly next door to us. This went on for 10mins until we stepped into the hallway and said we’d call the police. Overall: For the price of the hotel per night, I’d expect a way better experience and condition. This has been, by far, one of the worst hotel stays I’ve experienced in years.

We had issues at check in regarding amount due. Then, at 9:00 pm we discovered the sheets for the sofa bed had dried blood on them. During a phone call to the front desk were told no one on staff was able to access clean linens; the earliest would be 11:00 pm. My husband when to the front desk in person. He found two attendants lounging in the lobby. He inquired again about getting clean sheets. Eventually, one of the front desk employees got us clean linens. Disappointing experience.

During our stay at the Sonesta Select Atlanta Cumberland Galleria Ballpark, my mother and I had a very unpleasant experience with the front desk staff, particularly a woman named Tiffany and another pregnant employee. Their behavior was rude, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. Upon arriving at the hotel and heading to our room, we received a call falsely accusing us of making excessive noise—something that was simply not true. Meanwhile, there were other guests openly smoking weed, laughing, and causing a real disturbance inside the hotel, yet we were the ones targeted. When I went to the front desk to clarify the situation, Tiffany was extremely rude and dismissive, insisting that she was “just doing her job” instead of addressing my concerns professionally. To make matters worse, my mother, who requires an accessible room due to her mobility needs, was not provided with proper accommodations. When we arrived, they did not have a handicap-accessible room available for her, forcing her to use a shower that was not suited to her needs. They provided a shower chair, but it was too small, unsteady, and unsafe—she nearly fell while trying to use it. It was incredibly frustrating that we had to make accommodations for the hotel’s shortcomings while they showed no effort in accommodating us. This experience was particularly upsetting because we were celebrating my mother’s birthday. Instead of enjoying our stay, we were met with rudeness

The staff took too long to check in and once I got to the counter and was being checked in the agent did communicate clearly that she needed me to insert my card into the machine so I was standing waiting on her to complete my check in and give me my keys and she never said anything. Finally I asked what the hold up was and she said she was waiting on me to pay the $50 incidental fee. I found her to be unprofessional. Once I paid and received the key she didn't explain (as a typical agent would) the layout of the hotel, it's amenities, or the parking to building acess. I've stayed at the Sonesta Hilton Head previously and thought I made a good choice, but I was mistaken and will never book at this location again. Additionally, there were at least 2 customers during my check in process that experienced issues with there room keys and/or room door upon leaving for my evening the bolt on my room door was stuck and took some time to get back into the slot so that we could close the door.

In Atlanta for a few days with my son, who slept on a pull out sofa bed. The bed's springs were poking at my son as he tried to sleep. I complained to management that night and asked for a different room...nothing. Complained the next day...nothing. Complained the next day after that...nothing. Everybody kept passing the buck. Will now complain to Sonesta corporate HQ and very likely will get the same result. DON'T STAY THERE!

I would highly recommend staying here. It was about a 20-25 min walk to Truist Park but well lit and great sidewalks. The walk felt safe. The staff were friendly as soon as we walked in and check in was fast and easy. They had parking which was covered and safe. The beds were very comfy and the room clean. We had plenty of towels and the AC works great. The hotel was clean throughout. They staff was always greeting you and making you feel at home.

Excellent room, clean and quiet in a good location The only negative was the breakfast, it was advertised to start at 7am but we went down and it was not open. Another guest said the day before he had the same issue and had to sit a wait 40 mins. Frustrating when you have to get on the road and find breakfast elsewhere

The menu was misleading, listing items not available. I found thw bedding too firm. Im addition the Business Center doesn't even habe a compute to get online! Rather, they only have a printer and you must email what you want printed. They gym was a plus as was having ice machines on every floor. The mall is within a block away as was a bus transit hub.

I stay using rewards points but I would have been very disappointed if I had paid the full price for this stay. The hallway and room shows ware from over the years of service. The morning breakfast isn’t because it’s just a cold sandwich that is placed in a toaster there isn’t enough space to have a seat down meal with family.

Their website said they had a restaurant, with a full breakfast. Lies. It’s a nook with microwaved food, and it wasn’t even open the first day. No manager available for Hotels.com to talk to about issues and possible discount since they blatantly lie. When asked front desk about restaurant, they had no clue what I was talking about. Very unprofessional spot. Felt like they were just winging it. That’s just my main complaint. No one will read this or do anything about. Don’t stay here though, plenty of better options nearby.

This hotel stay was for a ballgame weekend was easy to get to easy to walk to the stadium and the hotel staff was amazing very friendly very helpful knowledgeable and extremely courteous breakfast had quite a few options great muffins would stay again most definitely when in the area
