Hampton Inn Atlanta Buckhead

Hotel had no shampoo for several days. Stayed 5 nights no room service although l asked for. The front entrance locks doors at 8pm, the key card scanner does not work and you have to wait till sb sees you to get in. Very annoying

Got confirmation from Hotels.com, but Hampton said they never recieved it. There were no rooms available once I arrived. This was a work trip and a co-worker and I were sharing a rental car. He had a room and I had to find another location for the night. It was a huge problem as well as costing additional travel expenses.

Positives: good location, decent buffet breakfast. Negatives: walls are super thin. You can hear every car drive by, especially on the weekends, every conversation in the halls, & every time someone drops something on the floor above you. The barn door to the bathroom is cute but is not sound proof so you hear everything when someone is using the restroom & there was no exhaust fan either, to help drown out the noise. Stayed 3 nights & did not sleep well any night we were there.

The pool was not opened after i checked online and nothing stated it was closed. I called to confirm and all amenties were going but upon arriving the road work was a little hectic then kids got ready to go to pool only to find out it was closed and noone wasnt sure why or when it would be unlocked. So very dissappointing that the pool was the only reason on staying for kids to do. Breakfast was good staff was nice. Rooms were clean could be a little better and rooms could be updated. EX recaulk bathroom baseboards etc where things needs to be addressed. Other than that it was good,
