Property is centrally located, with restaurants, cafes, and bars within walking distance. The pool area needs a major renovation. The Starbucks gives the property a major plus, specially for those who need coffee/breakfast when checking out early in the morning. The TVs need to be upgraded, and the carperting along the room hallways could also be replaced. Besides that, everything went great!

I very much liked the hotel itself, the location was great and gym was excellent. However the room furniture was old and battered. For example, one chair had fabric that was ripped and another had seating that was damaged and discolored.

The hotel was built in 1976. Needs some renovation but I enjoyed the old school vibe especially the sundial bar! Great view and great cocktails. The homeless outside the property I didn’t care for but most of them didn’t bother you. The restaurant and bar choices were abundant along with and easy walk to centennial park

The Sun Dial food was great, Sun Dial doesn’t disappoint. The morning Cafe breakfast is quite ridiculous and mediocre at best. At almost $40 per person for a microwaved to keep warm breakfast , you leave feeling cheated for sure . The place is very outdated and definitely needs some serious renovation. Not one single USB in the room for phone charging. The only thing they have going for them is the look from the outside and the name. With a lot more options around and modern hotels with a cheaper and better amenities, I’ll be going elsewhere next time. The valet parking is a joke and almost always full. The self parking is expensive as well not mention the outdated parking deck that is about as nasty as can be and makes you feel like you’re walking a prison. The rooms are very outdated and you can hear damn near every door close and open from your bed. The positive vibe is the lobby area and the bar area along with the Starbucks inside.

The hotel itself was great! The room was cleaned upon arrival. It seems as if the desk furniture and chair were a little dated (tattered, scratched etc). The view was beautiful and the front desk staff were friendly at check in.

This was hands down the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, and it completely ruined my first trip to Atlanta. My room had vomit on the bathroom floor and on my bedsheets. I began calling the front desk around 5 PM and kept following up until midnight. Every time I called, I was told “someone is on the way,” only to find out in my final call that nobody was coming until the morning. I waited hours for nothing and was forced to sleep in a contaminated bed. The next day, I ordered food and called the front desk to request silverware. I was told I’d need to pay $15 just for cutlery unless I ordered from their café. I gave in and ordered fries and a ginger ale, which came out to almost $30. On another night, when I called again expecting to pay the $15, a different staff member simply brought me plastic utensils with no issue. The inconsistency is ridiculous. It didn’t stop there: • I went to Starbucks in the lobby and asked for a cup of ice, and was told they “don’t do that on weekends.” Absurd. • When I asked about parking and valet, the front desk staff misgendered me. • And worst of all, a hotel staff member repeatedly asked me for hugs in the elevator—three separate times. That is wildly inappropriate and unsafe. The combination of unsanitary conditions, inconsistent service, discriminatory behavior, and harassment created an environment that felt unsafe and unwelcoming. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone and urge management to address these serious failures

My key card kept deactivating, and I had to go to the front desk several times to get it fixed. The lines were long every time, making the process slow and frustrating. In addition, the shower in my room had visible mold, which was unpleasant and raised concerns about cleanliness and maintenance standards. I’ve always chosen Westin for comfort and quality service, but this experience didn’t meet those expectations. I’m sharing this feedback in hopes that these issues can be addressed to improve future guests’ stays.

The property was extremely dirty. I got a room change twice while hauling all of our luggage and each one was dirty. They gave me a comp breakfast for a day and I had a 4 night stay… they was a water bottle under the bed, the tubs were dirty, hair on the shower walls and soap residue, trash on the floor, dust all on the lamp shade and the switch, furniture tearing… it was bad. I then went down to ask if I could just have an early checkout and they proceeded to take away my comp breakfast because I decided to leave. Expedia really came through for me during a stressful time so I will continue to always book through them.

The property is conveniently located attractions nearby. However it is located across the street from a park that hosts homeless people everyday. The hotel is a bit outdated. It is obvious cleanliness is not too priority. As I found items from previous guests once I entered the room. The furniture, bedding, and appliances are outdated. Housekeeping is not consistent. The pool was not as clean as I would like. Found hair a few times.

found roaches in hotel room 5807 during cowboy carter weekend. absolutely disgusting. neverrr again. seemed like the front desk staff couldnt keep up with reservations/check in’s because it was absolute chaos, the valet’s couldnt keep up with the cars coming in (caused traffic all the way down the street that backed up 3 intersections) and the cleaning people couldn’t keep up with their part of the job either, hence the roaches. like y’all literately had months to prepare for the magnitude of the weekend too. disappointing to say the least.

The view was great. The room wasn’t clean like it should far as the bathroom. Hair was everywhere. The bed by the window was broken, my friend sat on the bed and the top mattress started to slide toward the window. Scared the crap out of her.

The room was fine. Clean and great view. The internet connection was terrible. TV also spotty going in and out many times due to streaming connection. When using Uber or Lyft, Hotel does not provide any covered seating area to wait. Could easily place a few benches for guest to sit and wait for rides. Indoor pool was like a steam bath and not comfortable to relax in.

I was avle to get a nice rate and I guess because of that I was given a room with horrible to no view. The room was super noisy from the water pipes. It dounded like a river was running through there. The furniture was super out dated.

All the rooms are around the elevator bank in the middle. Depending on which floor you are on depends how loud the elevator noise is. Don't accept blank looks from the staff either because they know there is a problem. The manager had a list of floors that were the noisiest too. They moved us twice the first night. The 2nd night we demanded a better room and they did find one for us. The staff was courteous and tried to help. Just beware if you are a light sleeper, this hotel may not be for you.

The hotel was nice and clean it just need some room renovations. There was some tears in both of the chairs. There was no microwave and the refrigerator wasn’t cold. The bed was comfortable and my view was excellent.

The view is amazing & that's why it got 4 stars. You can tell the rooms need updating. This property for this amount of money & not one USB port in the room to be found. Can we update into this century please? Also, self parking should be explained by valet better. I didn't want to spend $60 daily to have my car stored. I asked valet & they said I would have to go into a public parking garage somewhere. The area outside of the property looked sketchy & no way was I leaving my car in the open for our trip. Not being from the area I had no idea where the nearest garage was. All of these added in prices need to be explained better. The carpet in the hallways of floor 37 are ripping. There was no hand soap left in our bathroom so we used shower gel for washing our hands. This caliber of a hotel needs to pay better attention to details.

We had room whit bathtub that was in poor shape. Needs to be taken out turn unto shower. Bathroom was very small. Bed right up to windows and we were on 42 floor. Not good if you do not deal with heights!

We had 1 person not come for our group and another person took the room and it became a 40 minute hassle to change a name even though all 6 rooms were booked by the same person. Had to get the manager involved and what could've been an easy override he argued with us on and then finally did it. Then we were charged for the "free breakfast" and the waiter wanted to argue we owed it. So again had to argue with front desk. Lot of hassle for a simple stay.

We absolutely loved this property and everything it had to offer. The view was stunning, the room service breakfast was delicious and the staff was so helpful and welcoming. My only complaint was the 210 bar where we went to get a drink Friday night and even though they saw us standing there proceeded to ignore us because they were talking to each other. We tried waiting for about 15 minutes but no acknowledgment so we ended up leaving. That’s the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Other than that we had a wonderful time and will be back.

Bar service is extremely slow only drank wine and we waiting 30 minutes both nights to get a glass of wine. Empty glasses sat in the hallway for 2 nights that someone left but no hotel staff removed them. There are a lot of homeless people constantly approaching guests around the hotel property and no security to help it stop .

Will say for the amount of the money you pay for this establishment the overall staff conduct is lacking. Twice I had to go to the front desk with issue with my room and both times there was much miscommunication. At one point the staff where I was potentially losing a perk I signed up for, the staff member was expressing not my problem kind of attitude. That's very frustrating when your paying over $300 a night for this hotel. We will be going back to the Marquis. I wanted to go to the Westin to visit the sundial restaurant and on the day we were planning on going it was under construction. Sad to have such a poor experience when I was super excited to visit.

The front desk staff at check in was very rude and condescending. They tried to charge me an extra $1200 saying I didn’t pay for my stay and tried to argue that it wasn’t paid for. It wasn’t until I showed the Expedia confirmation that they believed me. There was no information as to where anything was or where to find the included breakfast. Prior to finding the Expedia reservation, the man also offered my choice of a room with a king bed and roll away bed for my older child (extra fee for the rollaway bed) or a room with 2 double beds for the same price. I asked for the king with the extra charge for the rollaway bed; upon finding out I booked through Expedia and would not be paying extra fees that they charge, he said I wasn’t eligible for the king bed room as I wasn’t paying hotel prices. I also called ahead of time to ask that a crib be in the room for my baby as we would be arriving late and she needed to go to bed. Not only was the crib not there, but then I had to call and wait 2 hours for the crib to be brought up. Lastly, the key card was not working in the elevator to get to our floor so for 10 minutes we were trapped in the elevators as the only way to use the elevator was to scan your key card. It wasn’t until we pushed the button for help that someone helped us.

This hotel was Excellent and so was the services. The staff were very professional and friendly.The location was 2-5 minutes walk to the train station and also close to restaurants. The Atlanta Aquarium, Coca-Cola Company and the Centennial Park was all with in walking distance. Had a great experience. The only down side is there were a lot of homeless people on the streets and in the park, which the hotel have nothing to do with. They did not bother you at all. The Atlanta government need to take care of that. Overall very nice hotel and staff. Would stay again.

The location for this hotel was excellent. Close to many attractions and Marta station is within a 3 minute walk. The hotel was very secure and everyone was very nice. Definitely will stay there again.

Great location downtown. Clean rooms not overly extravagant. Only drawback (not really the hotel’s fault), but there are a lot of homeless/vagrants around the location. Felt very unsafe on the first day. Spoke with residents in the area who stated that cars are broken into very often. So all in all great location for nightlife convenience if eateries, etc, but did not feel safe.

Overall I really loved my stay. Everyone was friendly and room was clean and as expected. My only is I was planning to eat at the Sundial. It closed early unexpectedly and then remained closed the duration on my stay with no explanation.

They charge extra for wifi. Really? WiFi? Room service took one hour and 10 minutes to arrive, they included service charge (tip for the server) and when I asked what the service charge was for the server gave me an attitude as if she was hoping I will tip on the final bill without seeing it first so she will get a double tip. She has an attitude. Also they charge another fee for “delivery” of the food for their kitchen to my room. Usually when you get a delivery charge is because people are driving some kind of motorized vehicle that requires either energy or gas so the cost has to be covered. But a push cart? Charging delivery? They also have to change the Starbucks employees in the lobby. We waited over one hour not to get our coffees. Over 20 cups of coffee were sitting there from people just walking away tired of waiting. When my daughter approached the employee and asked how long our drinks will take after 40 minutes waiting she replied: they are coming, you just need to wait. It was an awful experience overall.
