Hampton Inn Atlanta-Northlake

We stay in this property every time we go to Atlanta. Location is good and there are nice restaurants close by. Nice pool

The front desk personnel were helpful and the breakfast was good. When we arrived around 9PM, there was a security car in the parking lot and someone walking around the lot to check on things. Would stay again.

They are undergoing renovation of most of first floor right now and mych of the actual hotel. It is torn apart right now, difficult to access (and quite difficult if you are in a wheelchair). No fitness facility at all right now, just not the place it was described to be as I booked it. We slept, but not able to do much more. Even the "provided breakfast" was questionable as they just brought mostly cold food into a meeting room, and that was your choice. I don't know what it will be like in future, but as of April 2024 it's a mess and for the price of badically just a place to sleep, I'd stay elsewhere or call and ask if renovations are completed

Nightstand in room fell apart when I put my drink on it. Also 8 cars was broken into including mine while we was asleep. Security was on break when it happened but it was caught on camera very disappointed

The property was very nice and clean. The staff was nice and we enjoyed our stay. However, two cars were broken into and robbed in the parking lot the night we stayed. I'm unsure if it's the safest area, but the hotel was nice!

The room was clean, bed was comfy. Everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Housekeeping was in the hall during the day (very helpful) & nice ladies always smiling. Weight room was adequate for quick workout and kids were always in the pool. They have a pretty good stock of snacks and drinks at all hours at the front desk. This ladies were super nice and helpful. “Z” checked us in while providing on the phone reservations etc and she was rocking it! The BREAKFAST, wow, food was great! Multiple choices: yogurt/fruit/waffles/muffins/hot oatmeal /eggs sausage potato’s and extras like cinnamon topping for waffles. Well stocked up until 10am. It was easy to find with shopping at the mall nearby, multiple food choices (I recommend fork In the road restaurant) and a 6 mile drive to east lake golf course!

Absolutely horrendous experience. Drove into town from out of state, upon check in the lobby and public area were being renovated, the construction consisted of painting, floor, walls, and ceiling upgrades, the odor of hot tar throughout the wide open doors at every corner. We decided to check in anyways as we had scheduled events to get to. Upon our return at around 1 am we found out that there was no electricity, air conditioning, lights, elevators or anything working in the hotel, there was a mass exodus of other guests loading their vehicles to look for alternative accommodations and with the need for medical equipment as well as my post operative wound care needs we needed light and electricity in order to take care of my needs. I was unable to lift greater than 3 pounds because of my surgery so my wife and young children had to pack the room in the dark and carry all our belongings down four flights of stairs in the dark. It has been two days and I have yet to receive a refund and I had to get a new hotel for the past nights that was more expensive than I planned because of lack of availability of rooms at the last minute.

The stay was amazing it was a full house with minimum parking around the front breakfast was amazing although we didnt stay until breakfast started they still gave us a grab and go bag very quiet and clean i felt safe with my vehicle because they had security in the parking lot

Only had access to one elevator but other than that no complaints

Arrived from Virginia to Atlanta from a long drive and got in at 2 am hoping to get a good night sleep in a comfortable room and did not recieve what we were expecting. Hair in the bathroom , plugs not working , very noisey, and woke up with a headache and stuffy nose due to mildew in the room along with a foul pet smell .

Cleanliness poor, bathroom old & poor condition, stains all over the carpet & sofa. Tv bad quality

Hotel has had some upgrades but overall the room was dirty, hair on the sheets, tub was nasty, coffee maker was filthy and we slept with the lights on to keep bed bugs from crawling out.

Breakfast was good, staff was friendly and area was very accommodating. Saw more than one roach in the room, ice bucket was very dirty with hair and looked like it was not cleaned, rooms could use remodeling and had issues with the door, was getting jammed.

Not clean, bad smells, toilet was not drained well.

Front desk staff was the best. The room looked clean but furniture was sticky from food residue. When leaving looked under bed and used nasal inhaler and dirty under bed.

I didnt like that the rooms were not clean. The floor had trash on it, the sink was not wiped out, the tub had hair in it. The beds was not tight but thrown together and wrinkled. Just was not worth the money we spent on it.

Filthy, smelly. So disappointing. Toilet coming from wall. My daughter and I were booked for 2 nights and just left the first morning and went to another hotel. I thought it was recently renovated……NOT. Wallpaper peeling from the bathroom walls, carpet filthy, hair on the sink, shower filthy. I would never recommend.

I can't see how this hotel got so many great reviews. The service and breakfast were fine, but the carpet in the hallways were gross, especially the stains on the carpet outside the 4th floor elevator. The bed sagged so much in the middle that it was hard to sleep not on a slant. And the door had a space way too big so the hallway light shone in. The trim in the bathroom was so water damaged and rotten. Plus there were hairs stuck to the bathroom ceiling. Wouldn't stay here again.

The hotel has had some updates awhile back, but it’s older roots are showing. Unfortunately, the air conditioning unit did not work well so it was quite warm over night. The door knobs had some issues as well.

A little dated, paper thin doors and walls, but we had everything we needed for a quick one night stay. Convenient, fairly priced, great breakfast (as far as free hotel breakfast goes). Would stay again if we had to be in the area again.

The rooms near the elevator are noisy.

The appointments in the run were newer, nice. The details were very meh. Loose TP holder, loose curtain rod on the shower, cool barn sir on the bath but it was chewed up by the peg latch. Since the curtain rod was loose, the shower curtain sagged so the water collected outside the tub. Ewww.

Had to move rooms twice! No working outlets for our iPhones, watches or my hearing devices! Maintenance brought in 2 extension cords! Room was clean but very small. No closet. Hooks on wall behind a curtain was what they called a closet! Draft around the window area on a cold night Not my idea of a nice room for over $130.+. Location wasn’t easy to get to either. The maintenance man was very nice and tried to help as much as he could. I cannot recommend this hotel.

Overall it’s was good. Only suggestion it’s darkening curtains because there was a light post outside that even with the curtains shut, the room was too bright for my liking, as a migraine patient that was not the best for me, but the rest of the experience was good

Check in was fast and easy. Room was clean. View was necessary this trip but the beds were terrible. Every time I moved it made a noise. The mattress was not comfortable at all. Both Queen beds have been worn out.

Our stay was comfortable enough. Everyone did their jobs and we slept well. There were decent restaurants close by and we ate well. The place was clean but felt a little cramped in terms of overall size of room. I guess that's the design these days to make all the numbers work.

The rooms needs little upgrade

The staff in the Mornings were amazing! The bathroom door was not a door. It was a sliding barn door that sat right on the floor. It was horribly loud and inconvenient. Only complaint I have.

Very friendly staff, customer oriented. Our A/C unit stopped functioning after 11 pm, the attendant came to our room right away to try and fix it. Nice breakfast, nothing was missing. All in all a great hotel

The manager/clerk checking me in was very friendly and helpful.

Checkin was quick but the lady working left a lot to be desired. While she said all the correct, professional things, her tone spoke volumes about how she didn’t want to be there. Hotel main areas were nice. Hotel room itself left a lot to be desired. They’ve obviously updated it but whoever they used, def could have cared less about their job. It’s sloppy and just makes the room look awful. Only one nightstand had plugs accessible which was bizarre. When we entered the room, I immediately saw small bits of paper all over the floor of the doorway and bathroom. When I got in bed, I kept smelling a sour laundry smell and finally figured out it was the pillows. The pillows were awful to begin with. Bed was ok. Breakfast was edible, that’s about all I can say. Don’t expect much and do not dare to use the wrong utensils to collect your food or you will be chastised like a child by the woman who sets it up. Sorry lady, I’m exhausted from no sleep in your uncomfortable bed and haven’t had my coffee yet. Why do you need three different utensils for items that are right next to each other?? I caught myself as she was beginning to yell at me. My bad. We checked in at 10pm and were out by 8am.

The staff was very kind and resourceful. My stay was perfect!

If I could give negative stars I would. Showed up to a hotel filled with water from a water leak, couldn’t shower for 5 hours couldn’t flush the toilet. Then when you call the front desk your met with rude customer service when you call Hampton customer service your met with rude customer service then no one was any help. Stay away from this hotel also it’s no pet areas as they claim literally had to walk out pups in the woods with no lighting.

All employees were so friendly and helpful. The house keeping staff did a fantastic job, and the breakfast was perfect to start your day. The area was great as well - dining and shopping was right down the street. Coming back to the area in a couple months and booked again.

Great customer service

My room was ready early which allowed to check-in when I arrived in town. The front desk clerk (India) was very friendly and accommodating. The room was large and clean. No problems at all.

The location right off the highway was very convenient for our travel

Comfortable and quiet. Fantastic shower in King room. Delicious breakfast. Easy access to I-285 and area restaurants.

This hotel was located in a nice quiet area close to where we needed to be. It was clean and the staff were friendly.

It was clean, the staff was pleasant and the food was good. Also, the hotel was just off of highways 285 and 85 which made it very convenient to get to.

We enjoyed the quiet rooms even though this is in a busy area. It is very conveniently located with close access to 285 and 85. We chose to navigate to our destinations without the interstates and found access to be very good. Breakfast was adequate. The breakfast area is a bit crowded. Cleanliness was very good. We will definitely be back.

The hotel and accommodations were fine but I do not like "fake eggs" and the breakfast was lacking.

Very clean, good breakfast service. Rooms were spacious. I loved the pool deck. Staff was courteous. Northlake was nice! Hair salon right up the street.

The breakfast is an issue They rush to get food off the table at 10 am We can probably use 2 waffle makers

Breakfast was good. The Decaf Coffee was luke warm the second day. The variety of breakfast foods was pleasing and appetizing. We had an issue with a noisy refrigerator, which was replaced.

Everything was really good during our stay. Breakfast was delicious and a great variety. Staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and had enough towels, etc. The only negative for this stay was the AC unit not working. We all slept without covers because our room remained extremely hot all night. I did let the front desk staff know, so hopefully it doesn’t happen to the next family using that particular room.

Very nice and clean. Young black girl at front desk was very kind and informative. Busy breakfast and lacking on some things but good otherwise.
