Quaint country motel with wooden rockers on the porch outside your room and a babbling brook just feet away. Unexpected mini fridge and microwave. Appears recently renovated, but the window unit was hard to control with either too cold or too hot. Bed was uncomfortable. Breakfast is only prepackaged breads, granola bars and apples/bananas. Great value near the Smoky Mountains, but for a one night stay…wouldn’t stay longer.

The staff was super nice and very helpful, rates very good , room clean. The only drawback was no chairs to sit in while in the room. Rocking chairs on porch , we really enjoyed. Loved the swings out back facing the stream , so peaceful.

If you want to feel like you are home away from home, The Valley Inn is for you. Sue and her staff are super friendly and do what they can to make sure you have a wonderful stay. The outdoor area by the creek is great with swings, chairs and a fire pit. Comfy bed and very clean. The Valley Inn will certainly be seeing us again!

There was a hair in the ice bucket , the room stank like smoke, the heater smelled like it was burning up, there was a mouse running around in middle of night , and no bottle of shampoo or soap. Just tiny bars of soap.

The office manager is very friendly & helpful. Accommodations were average - bathroom needs renovations, holes in the wall, moldy bathtub. On the plus side, the bed was extremely comfortable and there was a small refrigerator in the room. AC and ceiling fans made it easy to stay cool.

The motel is older but rooms clean, ved comfortable, staff available and respinsive. The room was arranged oddly with the area for hanging clothes above the service bar area. Very old and run down facility. Sofa type bed frame. Damp and smelly. Pillows were splotchy yellow stained. One bedside table. Used the sink at bed side on other side. Lighting was bad. Can’t believe it had ratings of exceptional.

My room was on the back of the building facing the creek, so it was quiet. The room is what you would expect for a motel. Very humid/damp in June. I thought the room was worth the price. The person in the office was very nice and helpful. I had a utility trailer with my vehicle, and he offered to switch my room so I could be closer to the parking lot to see my car/trailer. I declined, but appreciated the thought.

We had the perfect visit with Valley Inn! Our room was clean and spacious, they up graded us when they found we had two dog’s. There is a balcony that over looked a creek, we rocked in rocking chairs and ate dinner every night. Highly recommended

Basic place to stay but to sit and watch the creek at your back door was so relaxing . The staff did accommodate any of our needs and again the listening to the creek was all I wanted and it was amazing
