Great area to walk in , close proximity to several breweries, casino, restaurants etc. even got to see the fireworks following the Indians game from hotel. Valet parking was a different story. Paid $50 per night and 2 of the 5 valet uses were not very timely. Upon checkout I called at 10:50 am and at 11:45 our vehicle was not there yet. I questioned the front desk and they said it was a new system with valets and to speak with them. I spoke with them and they acted confused so I showed them my time mark for my text and my follow up text at 11:25. They apologized a quickly got our vehicle. Unfortunately we missed a dinner reservation the first mishap and left over an hour late with the second one.

Woke up to loud banging on the floor above us and didn’t stop for 5 hours. Asked the desk and they told me it was renovations going on. Maybe someone could have told us beforehand before we checked in? Also asked the front desk to get someone to look at our shower as it wasn’t functioning properly, they didn’t send anyone up. The housekeeping staff didn’t speak much English and when we asked them to turn down our room they didn’t understand and our room was never cleaned or beds remade.

Pros: nice location in the heart of downtown Close to restaurants. Hotel was very clean. Room was very clean. Cons: parking was a nightmare. Valet parking cost $50 when we pulled up they were cars lined all the way to the end of the street. There’s no signage or directions as to what to do with your vehicle. We waited almost 20 minutes to try to figure out how to park, my husband went inside to ask the ladies at the desk. They told them they had no information to help him other than the valet is shortstaffed. There’s a meter man walking by who told me I had to move my car. There’s literally nowhere else to park after 25 minutes I pulled up to the front trying to find the valet man to ask him where to park. He thought I was ditching the line, I was not. He eventually parked my car for me. Once I told the ladies at the desk the next morning of the issues I had with parking and they were very sweet and comped me the $50 for parking. The bigger con was booking through hotels.com. We paid an up charge for a Lakeview room. Apparently this hotel has not had lake views for sometime. I called the front desk because I simply wanted a credit for the difference of what I paid, given we did not have a lake room. And she said I had to call hotels.com. I called hotels.com and they blamed the hotel for not having a current website because that’s where they get their information. I was eventually given the difference in a hotels.com credit. We definitely did not get a lake view room.

Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Traveling with a little one so we got a room with an extra bunkbed which was awesome! Free valet. Good restaurant for dinner. Breakfast buffet was not great. People were taking to go boxes full of the good stuff- bacon sausage etc. Instead of it being put out in the open,we had to ask for ketchup, hot.sauce and syrup to be brought to the table. Attempted to use the pool but thought better of it. Both the pool and hot tub were cloudy, dirty looking. All around a good experience

The hotel advertises parking for $36 a day, but it's actually a parking garage not owned by the hotel, and difficult to find. Ended up having to valet for $50 because I couldn't find the hotel parking (turns out, there wasn't one). If people talk in the hallways, you can easily hear them in your room.

The entire staff was excellent. From check-in to valet aswell as the servers at the restaurant. Everyone was kind and helpful during our stay. The hot tub was a pleasant surprise considering we didn’t see it on the website. The pool was very clean. Our floor was quiet and the room was very nice. Bed was perfect, the wife and I both thought the pillows could have been a tad better. One pillow wasn't enough and two pillows was too much. I know, they're are worse things in life.

The bed was dirty I had no towels in my room the tv didn’t work and the breakfast was not worth what I paid. Horrible experience will not stay again. My kids didn’t want to move hotels so we stayed but we watched tv on our phones because the tv didn’t work and front office stated there was nothing they could do about it. We didn’t even eat the buffet the food we ended up going to McDonald’s.

They do the cleaning every 3 days, so you need to use the same towels for 3 days unless you called beg for clean ones. Carpets are sort of old and dirty. Bfast was extremely poor, never had it, ate next door.

I was honestly disappointed. For the price we paid I wasn’t expecting a shoddy hotel room. The couch had stuffing coming out of a blown out seam, a light switch was missing, there were weird power strips laying on the floor, the lamp shade sconce was broken, the grout around the interior of shower was moldy and the phone didn’t work. We were only staying one night to go to a theatre production, so I didn’t complain, but I was definitely disappointed and will choose a different hotel the next time we are in Cleveland.

Location is great. Cleveland was nice! The hotel Needs updating, lighting in the bathroom is terrible, water pressure not good, bed was terribly uncomfortable, the air conditioning was poor, woke up sweating. Customer service is really great but overall condition of the hotel wasn’t worth the price at all.

Did not get what I paid for - $345/night for room with a lake view but got the side of concrete buildings, broken tv with blue screen and “on schedule for repairs” per maintenance, room temp regulated and would not go lower than 72°. At the end of the second day after 150 people checked out, they finally offered a better room but at that point the impression was already bad. They should have offered me back 50%. The prices of the room dropped dramatically per their website, and very few people were staying during the weekday per the front desk, so why make the customer who IS staying longer have to pack up and change rooms? Fix the air conditioning and the TVs. Give people the room they paid for or refund them. This was a rip off.

I have so many beautiful things to say about this hotel! This was literally the most incredible hotel stay I have ever had and I have traveled around the world. The staff: Kelly, Daniel, David and Latoya made me feel so at home. When I got a cold and was feeling very ill, they, asked how I was feeling and monitored my healing, they delivered what they called a care package of multiple herbal teas, honey and fresh grated Ginger. I have never felt so at home and seen, as they made me feel during my stay. Also, the location of the hotel being right down the street from the local organic grocery store, health line accessible, cleanliness of the lobby and the attention to detail that the housekeeping staff take when cleaning rooms, is incredible! Thank you all so very much! I would definitely recommend this hotel, this staff and this Crowne Plaza location.

OMG!!!! I’ve been to so many hotels and never in my experiences did I encounter such an amazing staff at the Crowne. The ENTIRE front desk staff was amazing! The restaurant was amazing, maintenance was helpful. I wish I can experience this everywhere! Mark at the front desk was absolutely hilarious!!! LOL!! I’ll never forget him! Can’t wait to go back!

The staff was horrible. Went to check in and the employee Michael was in the middle of checking us in when another lady came up and he took her in instead of us and was very rude. The other lady who eventually ended up checking me in was also rude, asking me for a credit card and swiped my card without telling me why or communicating. She just handed me the key card also and didn’t communicate where to go or anything. Overall the staff in general was very rude and it was very disheartening

We were there during the Morgan Wallen weekend. It was extremely busy and staff was amazing. I saw several upset guests that were handled by calm staff. I would definitely return.

We had a great stay. Hotel was clean and check in was quick and easy. We arrived early and they had us in our room by 12:30 and freed up our day. Central location and we walked everywhere that we wanted to go. I highly recommend if you are going to a show, baseball game, basketball game, RR Hall of Fame, or football game. All of those things are 15 minutes or less on foot.

I had a great stay here! The room was clean and cool - and with temps in the low 90s, it was nice to have A/C that was up to the task. I was happy to be able to be able to check in a little early. This is in a great location for the Playhouse Square area as well as just being a ten minute walk to Progressive Field. The staff provided cold water in the lobby for guests which was really nice when coming in from the heat. This was not the fault of the hotel staff, but guests came back late from the baseball games and let their children run through the hallways screaming. I understand being excited, but at 11:30pm, it was a little too much. The valet service was quick and easy.

Great location within walking distance to many downtown attractions. Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms were clean and spacious. Only complaint was the noise from the nearby Jazz concert, but that wasn't under the hotel's control.

My husband and I live locally, but we booked here as a special treat to celebrate our anniversary. We chose this hotel because 1: pool 2:across from Playhouse Square 3:room service. We arrived planning to swim and then shower and get ready for the show. Instead, we waited for hours to get checked in because the system was down. We asked if we could at least use a room to get ready for our big night out and were told to change in the public restroom. So instead of getting ready in luxury or in the comfort of home, we had to change in a dirty public bathroom. While it wasn't the staff's fault that the system was down, they could have done a better job of finding a solution to all of us waiting in line, and focused on trying to make it a better experience rather than complaining that everyone was blaming them. When we could finally check in they gave us coupons for the breakfast buffet, which was something, but we were planning on room service. In the morning we called down for room service, and we were told that there wasn't any that day since they were doing the buffet. Nothing on the listing indicates that room service is only certain days. Since we hadn't gotten to swim the day before due to waiting in line for hours, we asked for a late check out. Initially we were told yes, then called back and told no. So 2 of the 3 reasons we booked here were a failure. We would have been better off staying at home. They made our anniversary worse. Disappointment and waste of money.

This property was great! Location is convenient to Playhouse Square and other Cleveland sites. Bars and restaurants are close by. The staff at the hotel are very helpful. The bar and restaurant in the hotel is convenient and actually very good. I can't think of one negative thing to say about this hotel.

Upon check-in, the concierge was wonderful. He brought our bags to our room, gave us a tour, told us about restaurants in the area, and made sure we had everything we needed that evening. Facility was very clean and accommodating. The next day however, service was mediocre. We felt no one was helping us, and had very little service at breakfast. Wasn’t too impressed with the breakfast in general.

Was a easy check in, front deck nice with checking in and out. The valet a little overwhelmed, they were running non stop but definitely long wait time for dropping off and picking up. The restaurant in hotel for breakfast was ok, says they have Monday thru Friday menu, but they actually only had a buffet which was bland. The manager and staffed seemed lost, they were barely busy too. The location was great, was there for one night for concert. Room was clean.

Bodde en natt och var jättenöjda. Vi stannade bara till i Cleveland. När man kommer dit om man åker bil kan man låta dem parkera bilen men det kostar en slant. Lättare att bara åka en bit bort (ca7min gångväg) och parkera själv. Fint, mysigt hotell med bra service!

The discounted rate was outstanding and the quality of the breakfast and service (at Brel's) was excellent. That said, our guest room had several issues: 1.) the main door lock did not work; 2.) the toilet paper roll bar was broken; 3) there was no shampoo (just body wash and conditioner) in the shower. There also seems to be poor communication between the hotel/front desk and the restaurant. In our rate (secured by Hotels.com), we were told that the room included breakfast for all. At check-in we received two vouchers but were told that we could use this to put food on the kids' plates since it was a buffet. The next morning, however, we found the restaurant only served by the person and that the vouchers only applied to two meals. I explained the situation to the front desk representative who said it was Hotels.com for providing misleading information about the breakfast. We went back to the restaurant who kindly comped us the two kids' breakfast due to the misunderstanding but also said "this happens all the time" and that the hotel needed to clarify their misleading policies. I agree!

Check in wasn't that great. The associate could not write anything legibly, so I had to ask him the room number he wrote down, and later had to call for the WIFI password since I could not read his handwriting. At 4AM, the smoke detector started beeping. They were apologetic and gave me a free breakfast.
