This place is disgusting the parking lot is filled with potholes and the building looks abandoned on the outside ! The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was helpful and friendly. Elevator was broken when we got there and our toilet was clogged, but they fixed both issues quickly. Nothing fancy, but a good value for the price.

The first thing walking in the room my kids and I noticed the stains on the bed sheets. The towels also had stains. I went down and requested bed sheets be changed. The clerk called housekeeping and told them my request. The lady from housekeeping knocked on our room door and came in. She said “I’m sorry but all of our sheets look that way so it’ll be the same result.” That is unacceptable!! My son and I went to the store and purchased 2 sets of bed sheets and took them to a friends home and washed them and brought them back to hotel room and placed on beds. This is the first time I’ve gone to this extreme. Never again will I ever stay at a Red Roof Inn!!!!!!!!!!

Well place is run down on the outside. Clearly has people living there with animals. Staff was friendly at check in but was not as accommodating when I went down to turn in my key cards and ask for a refund due to having a cockroach in my bathroom. They acted like it was no big deal and refused a refund told me to call in the morning and speak to the manager. Room was not the cleanest and had a piece of molding near the air conditioning unit that was broken. Needless to say we are currently driving home back to New York. I should not have to deal with roaches, means it’s dirty and unkept.

I originally booked his appointment on Expedia the first room that we got was clearly vacant by somebody. The Second room that we got was not the correct room that we asked for and by the third room there was a roach that came out of the bathroom sink. This all happened within a 25 min or 30 min time span. Although I must comend the manager of red roof Inn and all the people that helped me at Expedia. You guys were definitely very great at fixing this issue. You make sure I got another hotel and I didn’t have to put any more money towards it. Thank you

We checked in and got our room key. We unlocked our room and we looked to the right of the doorway. We see live cockroaches on the wall interior of the room! We said nope! Went to the front desk because no way are we staying in a cockroaches infested room and requested a refund, they said nope. Manager refuses to give the refund. Luckily rooms were available at a near by hotel and they had no cockroaches in the room.

Bathroom was tiny. Had 3 feet between the side of the tub and the wall. The desk lamp had no bulb was useless. Also it was broke and just hanging there. Red roof used to be a name that ment quality lodging. Now it just means you are taking a chance on good or lousy accommodations

When we got our room the radiator was broken, the door lock was loose with screws easily coming out, and no microwave or mini fridge. The guy at the desk gave us another room, which was clean and had good heat. However, no microwave or fridge because we would have to pay for a premium room. Otherwise, the stay was pleasant.

Front desk clerk was very friendly. The room was clean and had a microwave and Fridge and the only downfall was the tub was leaning which was kind of weird. overall not to bad for a Red Roof. The maun issue we had was that the key cards didnt want to work most of the time, on several occasions we had to go to front desk to get one activated. The second night stay, I was at work and my girlfriend had key card issues. The desk clerk denied activating one because she wasnt a registered guest. This forced her to sleep in her car on a cold night. I understand the security reason for this but it was a hassle with their key cards or door lock system. Also during the afternoon, the fire alarm was going off for about an hour disrupting my sleep.

The woman at the front desk was very very nice. Check in was 2 they won’t check in early unless you want to pay $40 we arrived at 1:45 I wasn’t paying that for 15 minutes. At 2:00 there had to be 30+ people waiting to check in only 2 people doing check in it took about 30 minutes for us to check in which I understand however it could be much more streamlined. like maybe check people in then just have them come back at 2 for keys. I know there was a big concert and baseball game in town but it was still crazy to have rooms ready but won’t check in until 2 unless you pay $40. The room was a disaster the only lights that worked were the 2 small lights over the bed and the bathroom. The shower sprayed everywhere the floor got so wet it was ridiculous and the toilet only flushed after holding the handle for a full 60-90 seconds. I honestly didn’t care it was just a place to get dressed for the concert and sleep for a few hours. But I would not stay again. The area is not great it looked rundown.

First I called ahead to see if I could check in early. I was told yes and it would be $40 cash. I arrived and as he was checking me in I asked for a receipt for the cash payment. He told me actually no rooms are available yet you have to come back at check in. Which was in 5 hours. After I got my room which was a no smoking room, I walked in and could barely breathe. It smelled like the room had cigarettes smoked in it for a week straight with no ventilation. The front desks resolution? They gave me air freshener! I had to have my bed changed because of all the stains and there was mold in the bathroom. This place is trash and would deem unfit to live in. They have nothing to offer you here. Our room was not ready When we arrived back from the event we attended at 2am our room was still not cleaned! The price of the hotel was way over priced for what the property was worth! Terrible experience

All hotels in area fully booked due to concert. Rates quadrupled normal weekend rate yet did not have staff to clean rooms in timely manner. Room not available for more than an hour past check in time so that we were unable to use room prior to concert. One person cleaning entire floor. If you are going to book the rooms be prepared with staff to clean them.

Avoid this Red Roof at all costs! Luckily I made it out of the parking lot without being jacked. It's an absolute ghetto dump. Beware of their deposit penalty. Drove to Independence, OH and stayed at a different chain.

It's definitely one of those places where you get what you pay for. The hotel itself is not nice, but the rooms were definitely clean and comfortable. The area it's in is a little rough- a lot of people hang out outside of the building smoking, etc., so something to be mindful of if you're a female on your own. They were nice enough to let me check in earlier because I had a wedding to prepare for, but did charge $40USD (which was worth it overall). Lots of gas stations and places to eat nearby. Right off the highway as well which was nice. I do recommend overall, but don't expect luxury.

Advertise breakfast included but there was coffee only. The room had no cups, tissues or hand towels in the bathroom, was missing light bulbs in the desk lamp and had loose veneer of the desk and the bathroom door. The bed was comfortable, the shower had decent water pressure and plenty of hot water. The sink faucet was barely functional.

I've stayed at this hotel 3 times now and it's gotten worse over time. Don't mind that's it's buried in the back of the other places around it, but the landscaping and upkeep is lacking. (stairwells need painting) My clock radio battery was dead, there was no fridge in my room, when I went for coffee in the morning, the one small pump container was pretty much empty. Later there were 2 containers, (Oh Wow!,) which in not enough for the at least 60 units I counted. Only fake creamer and not even packaged muffins. I realize this is a low budget place, but c'mon! The staff was very friendly, sociable and took care of me very well-no complaints there. I will be back in Ohio in this area next year and will likely not come back.

I checked out on day 2 and still have not received a refund for the remaining $342, for the rest of the stay. The hallways stunk really bad. The ice makers were out of service on every floor. Need more hooks in the bathroom. Need outlets next to the beds. The outlet next to the desk is upside down and I had to crawl under the desk to use it. New Beds would be nice too!

Sitting chair cat clawed to death. Dresser had, middle drawer missing, 2 towels for 3 people, nightstand dirty, 6 days had only Luke warm water (7 & 8 days had hot water for showers). toilet Very slow flushing. Carpet felt dirty needed cleaning. Under bed never been vacuumed dirty ( I always check to see if we dropped anything. Beds not comfortable. My daughter had to buy an air mattress to put on top. Bed pillows felt like Walmart $2 special. Also it was scary after dusk. Found out it was a Transition place for criminals. A woman had an ankle monitor cuff. I’ve seen a few stragglers that had drug burn marks on arm. Anyway we didn’t feel like packing and moving since we were with family and friends all day. Offered nothing basically just a place to crash. This was NO 3 1/3 star. Expedia must have been paid off to give this high of rating.
