Very cozy and welcoming. The view is beautiful and relaxing. They have a social area with a chimney where you can spend some time after your activities and enjoy a good conversation with your family. Staff is very friendly, you would have to request room service if you want but it is provided. Breakfast was very simple during weekdays but the weekend they have eggs, sausage and biscuits. Overall, it a good place to stay. It has a great potential, needs some renovation but still good place to stay..

Parking for seniors was great, we were right by the entrance to the hotel. The staff was friendly and helped whenever needed with suggestions for dining or places to see. The laundry is on the second floor and they have a great waiting area with a couch and two chairs. Our room had an outside patio area which offered some views of the mountains. The bed was comfortable and the staff provided you with anything you needed. Breakfast during the week doesn't offer a hot meal, but at least you could have cereal, bagels, oatmeal and fresh fruit. The coffee is excellent.

We had a balcony with a view of the lake. It was very pretty. The staff were awsome! I could tell the lodge is old, but it's kept up well. There is a nice seating area in the lobby on the first floor and on the second floor.

The lake view room we reserved smelled like mold and had visible mold. They offered another room a few doors down. Had mold as well. Ended up in a less expensive room with no view. Front desk promised a credit we will have to wait and see if that happens. Carpet was worn and dingy. Balcony covered with spider webs and obviously had not been cleaned recently. Mattresses had V in the middle. Toilet was stained and bathroom fan was inoperable. Ceiling tiles in closet apparently did not fit ceiling grid. Coffee pot in the bathroom. Think motel at three times the daily rate and you have a good picture.

This is very close and convenient to the Anderson Music Hall. Our biggest complaint is that our feet were black from walking on the tile and carpet. We needed to bring flip flops!

Very outdated for the price. Bathrooms are the worst of the property - mold in the grout and top outside corner of the shower enclosure, several broken tiles in bathroom that clanked and shifted every time your walked on them. This was our second stay at this property, will be looking for a different property for our next visit.

Property for the most part is nice. Rooms were clean and the AC definitely works. I loves the lake view balcony we have in our room. I would stay here agian. Hiawassee is a mountain town but beautiful.

We stayed in the presidential suite. The TV was so small, my computer screen was larger than that TV. The toilet paper rolls were so close to the toilet it was uncomfortable. I could tell it had been riped off the wall. I would like a partial refund. Thanks Sylvia

Nice place, good location, beautiful view, friendly staff. THE BEDS ARE ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! Don't stay here because if it. It's a shame. They need to in eat in new bedding. They look like soap dishes!!!

Older property but, comfortable and affordable. We stayed in a King suite and probably the biggest hotel room I’ve ever had. If you want clean and comfortable and don’t mind dated fixtures and decorations……. I highly recommend. Good value for the dollar. If I could find any negative, it would be the weekday breakfast. It was a little weak compared to the weekend. We’ll definitely be back. 😎

Our reservation was from Monday through Friday. One in our group, a 90-year-old female, got sick on Tuesday night, so we had to check out on Wednesday, 2 days early. The front desk was super nice when I explained the situation, and we were only charged for the 2 nights we were there. She also held the doors for me when I was trying to get everything out the door on a luggage cart. She went above and beyond!

We always stay at Lake Chatege lodge when we go to some concerts. It is convenient to Ga fairgrounds you can walk. Awesome place to stay and going back for two more concerts and Ga Mtn fair!!

There for a concert at Fairgrounds. Took a short walking trail from our Hotel to the venue. That was pretty nice. The views from the lobby and lake side rooms are beautiful.

Very clean. The ambiance was very restful, log cabin feel in lobbies (1st and second floors) huge stone fireplace with fire, big window views of the lake. The breakfast was real basic, cold serials or microwave oatmeal, packaged pastries. Juices and coffee/tea/coco available 24 hours.

The room and the hotel overall was clean.. We paid extra for a room that overlooked the lake. The view was excellent. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony looking at the lake and the mountains. The beds were okay. We had a double room and one of the mattresses needed to be replaced. The mattress looked like it was sunken in the middle. The breakfast that was included was not good at all. They only had coffee, milk, cereal and bagels with cream cheese for breakfast. If you want any protein for breakfast you are out of luck. Overall, I enjoyed our stay at the hotel.
