This property needs a lot of help. The elevators did not operate properly and were still in operation even with " temporarily out of service" signs, the washer/dryer died mid cycle and the hotel had to finish washing our clothes for us, hot water for your shower is hit or miss and housekeeping barely came. At one point I had to leave them notes to ask them to replace toilet paper or shampoo. It was hard to get additional blankets or towels for our party. The maintenance guy was a big help but other than that most of the staff was just there for a paycheck. The breakfast wasnt appealing and there's not much near by to run and get food at. Definitely wouldn't recommend this property.

I can’t rate the pool because it was not open. Our stay was very nice, the room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Just one thing I would upgrade is the pillows. They are very small for a king size bed.

Front desk staff was not there when I first arrived to check in and I had to wait 5+ minutes for them to show up from wherever they had been to finally do so. It has never made sense to me that the ability to check yourself in and to bypass the front desk exists but I’ve never been afforded that opportunity. The parking is fine but getting in and out of the lot is difficult because large trucks will park along the road coming in and essentially turn the entry road into a one way road but it is not and it becomes quite dangerous.

This hotel was close to Stone Mountain. The staff was helpful, cheerful, and kind. However, the building needed some care. The elevators were past due on their checkup. The carpeting in the halls, as well as the rooms, needed to be vacuumed. The doors were a bit beat up. Management needed to clean carpets, and do some care on the building. My husband and I are part of a facilities team for a church, and know what it takes to keep a building looking well cared for, and well maintained. This building needs some of that TLC. It was a non-smoking building, but I did see one man smoke inside, and I smelled marijuana. The breakfast was nice, and they had a staff of 2 or three manning it and keeping the tables clean. It was only a couple of miles from 2 grocery stores, coffee shops, and restaurants.

It was very run down. Hall ways and elevators were dirty and beat up. The room was a little better but maintenance was really lacking with some very poor cobbled together repairs. Pool was not functioning. Business center had been removed. One elevator wouldn’t go to the 4th floor because the #4 button didn’t work. Atleast the staff was nice.

Upon checking into the room. The desk attendant was not pleasant, and almost seemed as we were a bother to her. The room was not clean, it was balls of hair, nails, and candy on the floors. The best part of this stay was the cleaning staff, they were extremely nice and welcoming.

The hotel was absolutely filthy. I genuinely was worried about my health - the bathrooms were disgusting, there were roaches and bugs, and I don’t have faith that the rooms were adequately cleaned. I had to be moved from TWO rooms at check-in because of how dirty they were. There were used diapers in the trash can, somebody’s hair and other trash, and the tile in the shower was covered in rust and stains. It was disgusting. The third room was better than the first two at first glance, but when I woke up I saw bugs everywhere and roaches crawling around. The breakfast was subpar and that was the best part of the stay, so that’s saying something. The staff was fine - they didn’t question it when I asked for a new room because they already knew the rooms were dirty. The doors to the building on the side were broken and the staff knew it, saying “oh yeah the side doors are broken” after I had to walk around and couldn’t get in. I will never ever ever stay at this place again. It was a huge mistake.

Staff was Greta; however, the room was dirty. Tile floor was slippery and dirty. Floor in bathroom had P hair and we had to get slippers to wear around. The bed next to window had brown stains all around box spring. Beds super hard and uncomfortable. Ceiling tiles by elevators were stained and looked moldy, dust was come through open areas, at least I think it was dust could have been more mold stains. We decided not to stay the second night, and went home early. Again the staff was great, but hotel needs some work.

I was moved three times because of the poor cleanliness and condition of the rooms. The toilet in the first room had dried pee and dirt on it. The second room counters were blatantly not cleaned. There were dry spilled and crumbs on it. The floors weren’t vacuumed nor swept and the food table tray still had the crumbs from whatever food on it. The bed had a hair and a small stain on it and the tub had pubic hair in it. The third room had hair around the tub and the sink was stopped up. The drain stopper had hair and gunk stuck to it and it was left on the sink

I recently I stayed at this hotel, and it was an absolute nightmare. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that cleanliness is not a priority. The room was is in horrible condition; there was visible dirt in the carpets and the feeling walking barefoot sickened me, and to my horror we found feces in the hallway. I was very disturbed by the fact that when we called the front desk about the issue they told us that, " it will be dealt with in the morning". Something like that is a biohazard. To make matters, there were blood stains on the bed sheet. The overall filth and lack of hygiene were beyond unacceptable. This stay was not only disappointing but also deeply concerning. I would strongly advise against booking here until they address these major issues. The night desk lady was nice though. (P.S we found a liquor bottle under the bed.)

This hotel requires an update. If we had known about the conditions of the hotel, we would have chosen to stay at the Tru hotel down the street for a lower price. The hotel hallways are not clean, and we were hoping that our rooms would be different. Unfortunately, we were wrong. The room was extremely humid and muggy, and the floors and carpet were sticky and dirty.

The room had small black ants all over the room. If you sat on the sofa ants would crawl on you and ants were climbing the wall in the bathroom. An area of about 3 to 4 feet around the air conditioner had the rug wet. The air conditioner did not remove the humidity so everything felt wet. We will not stay at Hampton Inn at Stone Mountain again.

The hotel and staff were good, BUT the person's dog who was locked in the bathroom next to our room was barking and whining all night!!!!!! Security had to pound on the door, but no one was there! Must have been out clubbing!! No black-out drapes

Our bathroom sink had no water pressure. We reported it and nothing got done. AC condensation soaked the carpeting. The AC fan would come on for only very short periods of time which was aggravating while sleeping. The ice bucket leaked on the counter and made a mess.

The cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff were great, but overall, the facilities felt very outdated. Using the elevator was almost scary, as it didn’t feel safe. The room was also very damp and humid, which made it feel uncomfortably musty.

Well checkin was a nightmare. Arrived at 2:30pm. Checked in. Got my room keys. We left to go to an event. Came back around 10pm. Could not get in our room. Attenant stated that i did not have a reservation and domt know how i got the keys. Showed proof of payment .. and email from reservation... it was a mess. Will not be staying at this hotel ever again.

Check in & checkout was quick and easy. The housekeeping staff greeted us and even chatted with us about our dog in the hallway. The room was very clean. Our TV had a welcome message with our name on it. There is a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. There’s large bottles of hand soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo, & conditioner in the bathroom. The shower was nice and hot. The beds were comfortable. The AC worked like it should. The area was quiet and felt safe. It was about 8-10 minutes from the Pumpkin festival at Stone Mountain. Lots of fast food restaurants and stores within 2 miles. The gym was nice. Breakfast was good. There’s someone ready to serve you the hot food, which was biscuits, sausage, and egg rounds. The first server was rude, but everyone else was polite. There’s cereal, yogurt, bagels, bread for the toaster, a waffle machine, grits, shredded cheese for your grits if you want, packaged pastries, juice, coffee, tea, milk, oatmeal packets, there’s no sugar free options incase you need to plan ahead if you’re diabetic or just prefer no sugar items. It’s a nice place for a family or anyone else that’s looking for a safe clean place to stay. We’re definitely adding this to our favorite places to stay when we visit Stone Mountain.

Front desk staff was not there when I first arrived to check in and I had to wait 5+ minutes for them to show up from wherever they had been to finally do so. It has never made sense to me that the ability to check yourself in and to bypass the front desk exists but I’ve never been afforded that opportunity. The parking is fine but getting in and out of the lot is difficult because large trucks will park along the road coming in and essentially turn the entry road into a one way road but it is not and it becomes quite dangerous.

Average property. I reserved three rooms! Room 313 smelled like sewage, room 306 toilet was slow flushing and on Saturday asked for clean towels and was promised they'd be hanging on my door when I returned. However, three hours later still no towels. I asked a housekeeper in the hallway, she said someone was bringing thrm up. An hour later, still no towels., went to front desk abd was told towels were comin. We received the towels an hour and a half later. We waited a total of 4 hours for towels. The stay was great overall. When we checked in, the attendant working was involved in a scam that is happening at this property. They will give the direct phone line of your room to a scammer and say that you just checked in, then the scammer will call and ask for your card information. Obviously most will know not to give their info out but the fact that the front desk worker was involved was scary to us. We only saw this worker when we checked in because it was later in the evening. After that, every staff member was amazing. The hotel was very clean and you will always see sanitation staff around working very hard! Food was amazing the kitchen staff were super friendly and accommodating. The housekeeping that was done for us was above and beyond! We were missing our bar chairs the 1st day and they placed them in our room without asking. It's 5 miles away from Stone Mountain, stands in the corner of the bowling alley parking lot and backs up to a school bus graveyard. A sign on the front door warns that doors are locked early and trespassing is not tolerated. Doors are locked at 7p. Lobby lights were not on when we checked in at 6:45. The hotel is old, tired and not clean. Plugs in our room did not work and neither did the phone. The online listing is very misleading - no one should stay here.

I came in town for a wedding and this place was very convenient to stay in. Wedding was about 15 mins away and the area is packed with places to eat and things to do. You’re in walkable distance from a bowling alley ! I’ve stayed here with family before and I’m never disappointed..

This property needs a lot of help. The elevators did not operate properly and were still in operation even with " temporarily out of service" signs, the washer/dryer died mid cycle and the hotel had to finish washing our clothes for us, hot water for your shower is hit or miss and housekeeping barely came. At one point I had to leave them notes to ask them to replace toilet paper or shampoo. It was hard to get additional blankets or towels for our party. The maintenance guy was a big help but other than that most of the staff was just there for a paycheck. The breakfast wasnt appealing and there's not much near by to run and get food at. Definitely wouldn't recommend this property.

Very disappointed. I get it was thanksgiving weekend but was hoping for a tree to be up by the fireplace . We had went to stone mountain and pick there due to it was a little cheaper but not that much and had free breakfast that wasn’t eatable really . Low par . Which I get free . The bed rooms the sheets were stain or at least I hope the were stained and very wore out . I did take pictures and Jones didn’t call because we got back late the first night and was exhausted and the we just slep on top of the one stained sheets with blankets we brought. . Feel could have newer bedding . I mean you get what you pay for and this is a fact .

Hallways in all the floors were dirty no vacuum at all during 2 days stay. Poor breakfast, any time we wanted something it was out. No fresh juices at all. The water at shower and sink most of the times was cold ( was scared to take a shower at this cold time of the year) shower gel was out. We arrived on Saturday. We asked for maid service Monday morning and didnt receive it until Wednesday evening. We got one maid service for a 6 day stay and only after we repeatedly requested it!!!
