While I was given a "suite" on the first floor as requested, my main concern was safety and security. I was near an outside entrance which had a card reader that was inoperative, and the lock had been "fixed" by stuffing duct tape in it to ensure it was always open. I reported the issue to the front desk (although I had to call from my cell phone as the room phone did not work). The following day, the lock was returned to the same status. Upon checkout, the clerk was unable to even get into the computer to print me a copy of my receipt. I also was nearly "scalded" twice while showering by someone nearby perhaps flushing a toilet.

Broken exterior doors leaving no security. Never updated from the time it was built. Rooms and entire place was dirty. Possible blood on the wall in our room and something on one of the beds blanket. All light fixtures covered in dirt and dust. Bathroom fixtures in bad shape and ceiling exhaust was falling off. I wouldn’t stay here again and wouldn’t recommend staying here to any of my friends or family. I guess it’s probably what I should have expected for a super 8 at $120 for a night.

It's an excellent motel and shows good housekeeping. The entrance driveway needs a good marker, visible at night. It's almost invisible with early sunsets, too easy to miss.

The stay was good Bed is comfortable . Not that clean the bathroom had hair everywhere and open bars of soap. Easy fix. Cleaned it up and sprayed Lysol. The door on the back of building is always unlocked that’s the only weird thing.

No safety measures in bathroom tub, sink drain stuck, no elevator for second floor, not stated in hotel inscription; the guest was 85, not recommended for elderly!!! Attendant carried suitcases up the steps. Cannot recommend elderly stay at the hotel.

This is a very nicely maintained hotel. Not everything was brand new, but everything was clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and clean. The refrigerator, microwave and morning breakfast were appreciated. The hotel is conveniently located and had ample parking. It was a very comfortable stay and I would consider it a good value for the price. I would be happy to stay here again.

My stay at Motel 8 wasn't well. My room had an unpleasant odor of urine. The air conditioner wasn't clean and had a musky smell when it was running. In the bathroom, the floor towel was used (body hair from a previous guest). Dried blood was on the bathroom wall and door. Ants were in the room. They were drinking water condensation from my water bottle and trash can. The top bedding had stains.

The shower had 15-20 hairs in it all over the walls, shower curtain, and tub when I walked into the room for the first time. I had friends stay in other rooms and one of the rooms had food crumbs and hair under the bedsheets. I had low expectations for this hotel stay to begin with but I still ended up being disappointed.

They were really full, so maybe that’s why we got a room that was poorly cleaned (feces in the toilet and mildew in the shower) and in bad shape (fraying carpet and white duct tape on the shower floor covering up some whole or something). The beds seemed fine and the staff was nice. The breakfast was blah and the coffee was watery.

The bed was super comfortable and we both slept very well; however, the room (228) had a number of issues: - Both mirrors in the room looked like they had been cleaned with oil - The bathtub was chipped - The water drained very slowly. It was above my ankles by the time I finished my shower - The shower curtain had mold on the inside. We stayed here before in April 2023 in a different room, which was fine.

The room wasn't vacuumed and the bathroom floor was dirty. The sink and tub were both partially clogged and would drain very slowly. The walls need to be touched up with paint in certain areas and there was a small hole in the wall by the door.

Do not stay here unless you have no other options. Bed was comfortable, sheets were clean, but the bathroom was NAAAAASTY!!! Snot-rockets fired on the walls that were not cleaned. Various types of hair on the shower (read pubes) and once the intense smell of Mr Clean wore off….. not sure what the ….. that smell was!

There was nothing nice about this hotel absolutely disgusting. Would never stay here again. The room was awful, horrible smell, TV didn't work and had to leave to get breakfast. Do yourself a favor and spend an extra $100 stay somewhere else.

Our stay was just meh. The room accommodated our basic needs. Not much more. The wall outlets we could see were evidently operated by the switch on the wall. The outlet in the lamp was so loose nothing would charge. Wi-fi was out most of ohr stay. Bathtub could use work. Drain plug was for decoration only as it wasn’t attached to the tub, and the toilet ran LONG after it was flushed.

The staff was really helpful and friendly. The room was a little dated. The shower/tub didn’t seem clean and the carpet was damp/room smelled very strongly of either carpet cleaner or air freshener. For the price and a single night it was fine and essentially what I expected.

The toilet water valve randomly came off and started spraying water all over. I went to the front desk to let them know. One of the staff kept asking me what I had done. I was not even in the bathroom when this happened. She was insistent I did something. Very unprofessional. I was told there was only one room left, and I was moved to a room that was disgusting. I requested another room and was finally moved to another room that at least was not flooding or completely disgusting.

From the first impression to the time we left, this was not a good hotel stay for us. The person checking us in was not personable or welcoming personality-wise. The hotel room smelled musty. Our bed literally sloped down from the foot of the bed to the pillows, and was not comfortable at all. The not of sleep was absolutely miserable as the AC unit rattled very loudly every time it ran all night long. Combine that with the sounds of loud semi trucks and vehicles coming through the window like it was open, this was one of the most miserable nights at a hotel that we've ever had. If you do stay here, make sure to get a room on the backside of the hotel. We would've been more than willing to share how bad our stay was with the front desk, but she didn't even acknowledge us on the way out. Only reason why we gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because the room was actually clean.

Tv not working. Phone range front desk for 15 minutes. I finalky had to cone down and take it off hook. Nobody at desk. Out smoking crack??? Desk staff surely and unresponsive. Fire them all!!

The room was fine. The breakfast offerings were limited. White and cheap wheat bread only. No bagels, cream cheese, muffins, donuts, yogurt or peanut butter. Only fruit was bananas. Two kinds of cereal. Biscuits, gravy and sausage links. Fine for a one day stay but I would want a better selection for a longer stay.

For the price, the property was great. Only complaint is the staff didn't keep the breakfast stocked. So a bowl of cereal but no milk. When it was pointed out milk and muffins etc. appeared quickly.

My bath tub drained slowly enough that I was standing in water at the end of my 3 min shower. Lighting was dim through the halls. Sausage gravy was cold, and I arrived for breakfast in the lobby 10 min after it started. Overall, a disappointing experience for the price I paid for one night.
