I loved the room we were in. My dad can't get around as well as he used to, so being on the first floor was so convenient. The room was clean. We enjoyed the pool as well. The only complaints my dad had were the bathroom toilet/shower area was a little small to get around in and the bed and a/c unit made some peculiar noises. Overall, it was a great experience. Thank you!

We arrived after midnight and the hotel was completely booked according to the front desk clerk so when we looked for a parking spot, all that was left were located in the back of the building which was dark and sketchy with a field behind it. So we unloaded our things by the side door closest to the stairwell to our second floor room, and my husband decided to park near the front entrance. When we got to our room in the middle of the hall, the door was propped wide open and there was a man walking towards us who I thought might’ve been going to the same room. Ends up he was a pizza delivery guy looking for a different room near ours. No one was in our room but I called front desk to let her know we found the door wide open and she assured me that housekeeping must’ve forgotten to close it. When my husband got ice, he said some strange people were loitering around the hallway. Besides that, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We missed the free breakfast which was from 6-9am (we had gotten used to 7-10am breakfast at other hotels). All we really needed was a place to sleep and shower and this was a decent place for especially since it’s conveniently located near the interstate.

It is always good to stay here. We use it as a little get away with the grandkids. Rooms are always clean, easy check in, pools is warm and clean. They have a good breakfast and very nice staff

Likes: very convenient access off of I380 and Evansdale Drive, friendliness of staff, easy check-in and check-out, no stairs to climb for access to our room, nice pool and breakfast area. I would have given this motel a five star overall rating if there had been a hot tub also. Free breakfast included biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, link sausages, make-your-own waffles, cereal, milk, yogurt, orange and apple juice, bagels, toast, fruit, coffee, tea and oatmeal. Dislikes: bed just a little too high and no hot tub

I traveled all night long, was able to check in early (for a fee), the area and hotel was quiet and I was able to take a nap prior to my business that night. The only thing I would have liked to have was to have an elevator to my 2nd floor room due to my age. The pool was nice, the temperature of the water was just right.

After a late check in and showering I went to put my toiletries on the sink. There were hairs all over the vanity that I wiped up or scraped into the sink. The vanity had obviously not been cleaned.

We have stayed at this motel before but not again after this time. We found clothes in one drawer, marina sauce and water bottles in the refrigerator, parmesan packets in another drawer and a big tub of Vaseline by a bed. I don’t know if the room was ever cleaned. Also the light covering in the bathroom was missing and you could see all the dirt and dust up in the ceiling.

Stayed here because it was newly renovated. Was very unpleasant to find the bed spreads were dirty , urine on the toilet seat and floors were very dirt. Told the desk clerk next morning and all she did was just say sorry. Didn’t offer any kind of reimbursement even though I had to clean the room myself .

We had 3 queen bed which was great and there was plenty of space. It was clean as well. The only issue we had is that the bathroom was small and not much room to change or move around. Overall, good stay.

We had reserved three rooms told that we had a late checkout which I had requested but yet at 10:30 11:45 in the morning maid service was pounding on the door and telling us we needed to get out. And mind you it was not just knocking on the door it was a pounding and they stood outside the door until we left at all three rooms.

I like that the rooms didn’t have carpet on the floors. This always seems cleaner to me. I also liked the way the beds sat higher than most hotel room beds. Also, Deb, who checked us in, was so nice and friendly.

Overall the hotel was good, but they wrote down the wrong room number when we checked in. We were abruptly shocked and awoke when a family loudly burst into our room at 12:30am! The hotel staff had double booked the room we were in. Not the stay we hoped for.

Great stay free breakfast was delicious. We stayed 8 nights. The only suggestion I have is to mix up the breakfast a little. They serve the same thing every morning. The other suggestion is to communicate length of stay as we were questioned why we were not leaving a day before we were supposed to leave. Apologies were accepted & everyone was pleasant & nice. Again great place to stay. It was quiet even though it was near 2 truck stops & it was busy the first weekend we were there.

Check in went ok. However, when we went to our room, there was garbage in the trash cans…and not from us. Breakfast was a great variety, but the service was horrible. They were out of coffee, and it took over 39 minutes to get a pot made. The garbage was overflowing, and no glass plate in the microwave with oatmeal all over the bottom. At checkout I asked fir a receipt, and they said they could only email me one. Turns out, I never received the receipt. Staff definitely needs to be trained in customer service and cleanliness.

Comfortable bed. Breakfast could have been better. Got to breakfast at 8 am and had to wait for eggs, sausage, and biscuits for 15 minutes. Eggs were undercooked. Only the desk person was working.

We loved the 3 beds in one room to accommodate our whole family. The manager on duty was not pleasant and seemed annoyed that she had to deal with us to check-in. The bathroom in the room was very tight (and we’re a petite family). Breakfast would have been decent, but they were out of things and the waffle batter was runny, so the waffles weren’t cooking like normal. Not great options, but we didn’t starve.
