Easy to get to. Plenty of parking. Was located where I needed. Staff quick and friendly. Room, sheets, pillows and towels clean. Interior kinda worn - minor improvements such as replacing the radio (didn't work), some outlets (if you have a computer, phone cord, it will fall out as most of the outlets are old), and shower head (it wouldn't stream as it should).

They must have done a recent remodel. Lots of carpet. Everywhere. But…it was in great condition and clean. Service was good. Nice clean bathroom and had all the amenities one likes for a hotel. Microwave and Fridge. The ice was conveniently located and cable worked great. Will definitely be back.

There was a light breakfast in the morning that was a surprise. We had an accessible room was very spacious. Had a refrigerator and that was a surprise. We had a accessible room was very spacious. Had a refrigerator in a microwave, which was handy and a soda machine and ice of course. Very accessible and close to the freeway. There was a Dairy Queen and a McDonald's close by if you got hungry. We were there for a wedding and it was about five minutes away, which was handy. We would stay there again!

Very nice, 5 stars on everything, property, people and room. Very friendly staff. Easy truck and trailer parking. Easy off highway access, but the room is very quite (we were closest to the highway by request). I definitely recommend making this a place to stay. Small town, nice amenities and friendly people.

Fan in BR didn’t work. Some flies but Onawa seems to have more flies than usual this year outside and a few other places. GreatAC. Especially friendly day staff. Great mattress. Park right outside room. Very Clean everywhere. Carpet in room with stains. Warm blanket. Few minutes driving to church, downtown. Good overall store very close by. Bonguards. Sunrise grocery in town is very excellent for small town, wine, selection of foods. Staff. Recently remodeled.

Located alongside the interstate, the hotel booking is deceptive in regard to the facility type and amenities. Upon arrival, check in consisted of getting a non-functional room key and torn off slip of paper with a room number for a walk-up motel room located in a different building. The room itself reeked of cigarette smoke and smelled faintly of urine. For the price of booking (in excess of $100) I would not recommend even considering booking this hotel/motel. After an hour or so, I decided to repack my car and depart without staying the night.

there's no nice way to say it, the room was very dated and nasty. it was a no smoking room but there were cigaret burns all over the carpet. the room was as clean as it could be ,but the carpet looked and smelled like it had been there since the 70s. It took half the day sitting outside to stop smelling that smell in my nose.

We're on a three week road trip, this was not our first choice, but so glad it became the choice! It was clean, the staff was friendly! The shower head was wonderful, as was the water pressure & temp. The pillows were down and wonderful!

The room we were in was close to the interstate and could here cars and trucks all night long so did not get much sleep. Our room smelled old and musky. The bed was not comfortable. The hair dryer did not work. Will not stay there again.

For a discount hotel, we were very pleased. The front desk was friendly. The room, while small, was very clean, with comfortable beds. The a/c was very loud but we just kept the fan on constant so it wasn’t going off and on. We slept well.

Wasn't even questioned for checking in 2 hours early (I was coming from the Omaha airport) and I once again got upgraded so I was in the same building as breakfast. My only suggestion is to add something gluten free to breakfast. Thanks!

The ac did not work and staff accted like so what and offered no solution or reduction in rate. It was ok as a salvation to their awful campground at Lewis and Clark misoperated by Iowa DNR

Pretty much the only place to stay in Onawa. We were checking in and the lobby was crowded and we started visiting with other people and laughing just having a good time. The lady at the front desk threatened to not check us in if we weren't quiet. Never had that happen before we were all having a good time.

This is a peaceful place to be. I always enjoy returning here in the evenings after a day of bicycle riding. We walk to the grocery store and fix a nice dinner and relax.

I would stay here again. For a small town this hotel was not what we were expecting. We arrived and someone was physically there at the front desk, no deal “0” to get assistance. Our suite room was clean, no musky smell, the bed was very comfortable. The jetted tub was actually what I needed at the end of our week vacation. Breakfast was a little disappointing, but we didn’t starve.
