Super 8 by Wyndham Nebraska City

The staff was great, super clean place, very comfortable. The bathroom tub faucet was dripping - wasting water away, the toilet dripped, and the “cushioned’ toilet seat was questionable!! There are loose tiles in front of the tub and the exhaust vent never kicked in.

Excellent choice after long, long drive. Quiet, clean, and friendly fast check in. Limited parking area for truck and trailers

Overall the property looks good but some areas are noticably overlooked. Sheets were clean, sufficient towels, abundant hot water. Outer bedding could use a dip in the washer. But that could be said for most hotels. Did appreciate the step in shower over a tub.

An elevator would be nice.

Check in was easy, front desk help pleasant. Upon opening the door to room, hit with a terrible sour/musty smell. Too exhausted to request a room change. Toilet needs a repair, as it ran all night long. Pillow upgrade suggested. Frig was cold, window A/C worked fine. Typical hotel breakfast fair. Hot shower which was our main goal.

I’m not super picky and realize that cheap hotels may not have the works. However, this was the dirtiest room I have ever stayed in. Clearly had not been cleaned. The sheets had blood and toothpaste, there were tobacco crumbs all over the desk, end table, and floor. Hair and dirt in the bed. Overwhelming cigarette smell which gave me a headache through the next day. I would have left but it was too late to safely drive somewhere else.

I have never had such a TERRIBLE experience with a motel-cleanliness in my life. The staff at Desk was nice. When we got to our rooms it was a different story. My elderly Dad and Mom were to share a room and my sister and I another, both with king-sized beds. In both rooms We lifted the blankets and the sheets were wadded up in the middle. I went to the desk very angry and the staff was very courteous and changed our rooms. She said there was trouble with a particular staff person. Well, the new rooms weren't much better. While the beds had clean sheets, the sinks and the showers hadn't been wiped down and were dirty. The tops of the furniture still had glass stains and the bathroom floor had toilet paper on it meaning it wasn't cleaned. We asked for a rag and disinfectant and cleaned things ourselves. Upon reflection in the morning I feel it wasn't as much an issue with staff as an issue with management. TOO FEW STAFF stretched thin caused what we would assume was TOO LITTLE PAY.

For the price you pay just stay somewhere else. Dirty bathroom. No soap at sink. Chair had chunks of pleather missing/worn out. Location is next to a truck stop nothing else happening at that exit. Had complimentary breakfast but it was garbage. Wished I’d stopped at the earlier exit and either saved some money or shelled out a few extra bucks for peace of mind. Stars for Dennis. He was friendly and attentive. Didn’t see any other staff.

Reported bed bugs so we did not stay there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The stay itself was good. The room had black mold on the wall in the bathroom growing out of the Sheetrock the carpet was filthy and needed updating. There is no safety locks on the doors just the typical bolt lock that unlocks with the turn of the handle. The place definitely needs some cleaning and updating. But overall the stay was good the staff was friendly and accommodating.

This hotel is next to a very busy truck stop in an industrial area. Room is dirty and noticeable signs of decay and mold. Only fast food available. Trash all over the property outside.

Woke up surrounded by bedbugs. Told the front desk agent as we checked out and she said she couldn't tell her manager until tomorrow because she was out of town. Didn't really seem surprised.

They were full all weekend and it was quiet, comfy and clean!!

It's a cheap motel, I had low expectations. Not terrible if you just need a cheap room for a night. Truck stop very close so many semi trucks park in the surrounding parking lot. I inquired if they got much trouble with criminal activity and the staff basically told me sometimes they have problems but it's a pretty low population area so it's not super sketchy but I definitely didn't go wandering around outside after dark, if you know what I mean. I had chosen a suite, because why not it's Super 8 and it's cheap. I had an option to upgrade to a "better suite" for a few dollars more and I took it out of curiosity. I wanted to see the best that the Nebraska City Super 8 had to offer, just for fun. I travel all over for work and live in hotels most of the year and sometimes you find some cheap ones in the middle of nowhere that are surprisingly not bad. This was not one of those. It wasn't terrible or outrageous or anything. Generally met expectations for a cheap motel, other than that overall falling apart look. I have zero idea what the upgrade I paid for got me. there was sort of a 2nd sink, like a bar sink and a countertop in the living area. It had a drain and water valves and holes for a faucet, but no actual faucet or handles or hoses. Just a counter with a sink and a drain. And empty bonus holes for a faucet. A large hole near the floor kind of creeped me out. It was ok though overall. Be sure to ask if there is a faucet AND a sink if you do get the suite.

Check in nice. Breakfast area ok and nice selection of items. Room generally ok. Mattress totally worn; one corner crushed and a hollow on one side of the mattress.

Check in host was amazing and so friendly. Bed had a giant hole in the middle of it. Zero water pressure. But for a quick sleep before traveling again it worked for the price

Great stay!! The only issue was because when walking past the bed I hit my toe on the metal corner twice. Other than that no complaints!

One thing was the smoke in our room, was pretty bad.

The bed is on springs not a box spring, mattress very saggy. Chair upholstery in very bad condition.

It was ok. I appreciated it was clean. Our bathroom door didn’t close all the way. The shower head was just hanging from a hole in the wall. Definitely in need of some fixing up.

Very poor upgrades not enough hot water very little water, pressure bed and mattress was a joke

Great location right off the interstate with truck stops and fast food restaurants nearby. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and clean, although a bit outdated. I would stay here again.

The overall experience of the stay was good. The cleanliness could have been slightly better as there a few stains on the floor of our room. We also were not fans of the beds as the frames were simply all metal with no boxspring under the mattress. I did not check in with the front desk person but from what my husband said the front desk clerk was less than friendly. Not completely rude just..not very cordial for lack of a better word. But its a comfortable room and bed for the night.

Good for a quick overnight. Surrounded by the biggest truck stop I have ever seen. One restaurant and a subway within walking distance. Entire area is a truck stop.

It was a decent place to stay. It’s a little run down, but fairly clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a typical hotel free breakfast. A very good value for the price.

Room was nice size and comfortable. Tub and chrome fixture was worn. Breakfast in steamy hot room at 7 in morning No milk. Juice so watered down, no color to orange juice and apple strong. Both undrinkable. Store bought muffin and yogurt good.

Check in was overall a good experience but when i went for the continental breakfast I was disgusted by the fact that there were ants all over the food! Crawling all over the counter and muffins, they were everywhere! Needless to say I passed on the breakfast and just checked out.

Property supposed to have coffee and hot breakfast in the mornings. The first morning we were there. It was plenty of coffee and it was biscuits and gravy available and you could make a waffle. The second morning there, all there was was the waffles for hot breakfast and no coffee! I asked about it and they said they couldn’t find any! Not acceptable.
