Cabana Inn - Boise

This place is very basic. There is a cheap microwave and refrigerator. The shampoo comes in a packet like catsup.

Spacious and lots of easy parking

The property looked like it had been an ok motel in it's prime but has not been kept up. The TV didn't work. The bathroom had moldy grout. It was 81 degrees inside the room when we arrived.

Turned out to be much quieter than I expected. Parking was dodgy at best

TV had no sound, and the sink was broken; it worked, but the drain was broken and the sink would not hold water. A sink should hold water.

Easy to check in, 20 minute straight walk to downtown. Park right outside room

It was nice to have a mini fridge and microwave. The bed and room were very comfortable.

Sink didn't drain, hot and cold water reversed on sink.

They should check the conditions of everything in the room before customer check in the hairdryer and heating is not working when we stayed

The building is older but it is kept clean. The staff were so very kind and accommodating! The parking was great until Friday night - people took two spots instead of one and there was someone who brought a large pontoon boat and they took up five spots. That was frustrating but probably wasn’t any fault of the hotel. It was all in all a good experience.

There was strange men in the parking lot asking our names when we came back from main St. The overall stay was excellent and very well priced. Rooms were clean and smelled good. The shampoo they leave for you is actually really nice too. The property manager was super sweet and smelled like she was cooking some good food. Would absolutely stay again.

Infested with bed bugs. Rooms had not been cleaned at all. Would not recommend!!

Simple but clean, functional, nice staff, close to downtown. I recommend it.

Unsafe location. Unsavory characters hanging around on the stairs. Building and exterior in very bad condition. Room recently painted but pillow cases were gray and stained. Towels ripped and stained. Dirty toilet seat. No toilet paper and broken holder. Morning desk clerk refused to give me a receipt though night clerk insisted I give her my credit card (I booked online). This motel feels unsafe and either needs a major overhaul or a tear-down. We paid $187 when it isn't worth above $60. Shame on them for not giving decent value for the high price.

Nice staff and owner but the room was not comfortable or clean. The pillows were worn out, bed was saggy, and there was no chair to sit in. The grounds had litter and it generally felt run down. I wasn't expecting fancy, but it should be clean and comfortable

The area around the hotel seemed unkempt. I was pleasantly surprised that my vehicle still had tires in the AM. The room looked dated and smelled of cigarettes and feet. The only plus of the room was that the shower had a lot of pressure. Unless, this is your last option, I would go elsewhere.

Budget hotel for a flying visit. The room was clean and tidy but it was exceptionally noisy with other guests up to to 3am and traffic surrounding the hotel. If your looking for cheap accommodation and have ear plugs then book it!

A decent motel for a low price. The walls are paper thin. I heard everything that was going on in the rooms next to mine, including someone using the bathroom. Other than that, the property is fine if you are looking for a cheap place to crash.

Older property but looked like they had kept things nice but affordable. Staff was so kind and helpful. Beds were very comfortable. Clean room.

Night receptionist put me in a nice room with a hotel I came in late from my night shift he moved my room to one with a bath! I was so grateful! And he reserved my room until my shift was after3am

It gets a bad rap but room was big, bed was clean, air and tv worked fine. We arrived at airport 4 hours before checkin so I called to ask if they had a place to store our luggage. They told me they would have cleaning crew do our room first so we could ck in early- very nice/considerate.

If you don't need the glamor of some of the higher-priced downtown Boise hotels? This is the place for you. Reasonably priced. Kind staff. Close to everything. No complaints.

The worst experience of my life. I described just facts without my feeling. Day 1: I left $1 of tip and the room had been cleaned. Day 2: I'm not sure if I forgot to leave a tip or if I left it. When I returned in the evening, the room hadn't been cleaned. Day 3: I left $1 on the bed. The room hadn't been cleaned, but the money was taken (only the trash can had been emptied without new towels and no bed makeup). Later, at midnight, I found water socked wet hand towel under the bed sheet. I didn't initially recognize it because the bed sheet covered the towel. I never used that towel. Then, I noticed one more thing: sticky syrupy substances were "sprayed" on top of my stuff (my headphone, plastic bag...). Of course, I never had or used that syrupy stuff. I called the manager and demanded to see the state of the room and he checked it. I asked for new towels, and he brought three nicely folded towels. Day 3: I noticed that the towels were very dirty. It was not just incompletely-washed one but "unwashed" one with a lot of dirt still on them. Day 4: The manager said very unkindly that the genitor just didn't clean the room and didn't know about the dirty towels.

Check-in was fast and easy. Staff was friendly. Hotel and rooms were a little run down but I would stay there again.

Did not feel safe here as a solo female traveler. I had not one but two men hover and sit outside my hotel room. It was very noisy, I didn’t get much sleep. You can hear the traffic right outside and the maid cart rolling down the walkway. I booked 3 nights but ended up checking out after 1 night

Nice rate for staying in Boise. Can't beat the price! Store and laundry mat down the street. Right in downtown area.
