Despite a few poor reviews we decided to give the hotel a chance since it was a red lion which has usually good standards. On the ground floor the window was not able to be locked and slid freely the door lock was also broken. Room was not clean and was not repaired from previous damage.

Scary to stay here. Don't think it has ever been cleaned or updated.

Our stay was disappointing, especially considering the price of the hotel. The floors in both the rooms and hallways were dirty and sticky in several places, which made the property feel poorly maintained. The breakfast was extremely limited, consisting of waffles, two types of cereal, toast, and boiled eggs that were not refrigerated. The pool was also closed during our entire stay, which was a major disappointment. We stayed on the first floor and could hear almost everything from the guests above us, making it difficult to relax and sleep comfortably. Overall, the hotel feels very run down for what they charge. We also heard and witnessed several complaints from other guests during our stay, so our experience did not seem to be an isolated one. Unfortunately, based on the condition, cleanliness, amenities, and overall experience, we would not stay here again.

Not the worst and not the best. We only stayed 1 night. Front desk staff person was not overly friendly but nothing bad. Hotel is dated, hall & stairway carpet is pretty awful. Continental breakfast was lacking so we didn't eat. No coffee in room and no hair dryer.
