This is a very west suburb of chicago and they wanted us to pay $ 12.00 per night for parking. Unacceptable. Will not stay there again. Next time park 2 blocks away in shopping area. Over nite. Parking available all over 1-3 blocks away

Very nice front desk staff. Room was ok. Bathroom area not so much- peeling wallpaper, runny faucet, and rusted tub. Gym is nice but zero towels, zero water in the water station and all the disinfectant wipes were dried out so no way to wipe down equipment.

The gym was one of the biggest and most well stocked that I've had in a hotel. The downstairs lobby was spacious, clean, and inviting to meet with friends and family in the area. The hotel is in the middle of a vast shopping district but it still in a quiet and calm area. Great option in the suburbs of Chicago!

Checked in and the first room had a fire alarm chime every 30 seconds. Front desk said they'd call maintenance...I called back 30 mins later..."no maintenance today" were they just hoping I'd get used to it? Were they going to call me back and say it? They gave me a second room...bugs all over the place. Third room was ok. Def the worst courtyard I've stayed in.

We changed 3 different rooms because of multiple issues. The hotel staff need to check rooms before giving them to customers. In the first room, there was a cat inside the room, then the second room had serious termites infestation, by the time we got into the 3rd room, we were just fed up.

There were long black hairs on our bathroom floor which were not ours. The room was dusty and the carpet needed cleaning as it was sticky. The curtains were dis-colored yellow with age. The balcony had moss growing on it and the slider tracks were full of muck. Our room was not cleaned after the first night so we requested cleaning on the second day. It was not cleaned on this day either. On the third day we complained again and the room was finally “cleaned” but there were still black hairs in the bathroom. Overall this is the worst Courtyard we have ever stayed at and we will not be using this brand again.

Room was very small and furniture was placed so that luggage cart couldn’t be brought into room to unload. Carpet by bed was stained and dresser had cigarette burns on the top of it. No microwave in room and no free coffee in lobby. We were awakened around 11pm by a rowdy group of people in the hallway and room next to us who were extremely loud and kept it up till after 2 am. Two large groups were staying there for the weekend so we decided to cut our trip short and go home a day early. Not the experience we expected at a Courtyard by Marriott. Will definitely not be booking at another one.

We reserved two king bed room on this property. At the time on checking they did not have any room available. After almost an hour of waiting they provided one room and when we went to that room that room already vacant. We were so disappointed with this incident. Make sure you do not charge for this.

Checked in at 300p went to dinner then to a friends for a New Years Eve Party. Retired at 100am to find us and several others locked out of our rooms due to system being down. No one at counter to deal with customers. Being told today that hotel did not update system. Never got into room. Had to drive home and have someone pick up our belongings the next day. Ridiculous

It was fine for the 4 hours I was there. I had issues with trying to call. I called about 10 times and no one would answer the phone. I was trying to ask about the shuttle from the airport but ended up just having to get a taxi.

Ok hotel but this one specifically have charging issues and then they act like they don't care and its a regular thing. Dulce and others need more training at the register or something..I payed online for my room in full then got to check in and paid 110.00. i was stumped but thought it was a deposit or something and didn't ask no questions..its my fault, being distracted with dulce courtesy talk and swiping extra times before i knew it i was charged with no explanation. Pay attention and use a credit card you will be insured and protected against this fradualant place and will get your money back faster than with debit...i confronted them at check out and all of a sudden theres no record of them charging my card as if im crazy and the printer does not work and everything possible to defer the fact that i was charged as im showing them proof. USE a CREDIT Card. With debit its as bad as cash and your word against theirs. The guy working the front desk at 11am 1/21/2023 had no understand nor sympathy as if its and imaginary charge..if i actually needed the 110.00 id been ass*d out for a couple of days. It was not a very good choice of hotels. There are hidden fees, a parking fee of $12.50 a night. They charged a $100.00 fee for the dog. None of these fees are shown on the hotel website. The room was a handicap accessible room, which we didn't ask for. The door was difficult to open, it would stick. Not sure how a handicap person would be able to open it. The beds were very high. Again, not sure how a handicap person would be able to get in the bed. The mattress was very uncomfortable. It gave me a backache that took several days to go away/. The cafe/coffee shop was supposed to open at 6:30 am on Friday. There were people lined up for breakfast, at 7:00 am we gave up as it wasn't opened yet. We drove to a near by cafe. We didn't even bother with the hotel cafe on Saturday morning. It wasn't going to open up until 7:30 am, we just to the near by cafe that opened at 6:00 am. When I went to the front desk to mention the door and ask about the dog fee, no one was there. I waited for awhile and gave up. We travel with our dog all of the time. Normally, they have us sign a paper to let us know the pet fee and rules. They didn't bother with that at check in. I couldn't believe that they charged a parking fee, we have NEVER paid a parking fee. And we have NEVER paid a $100 pet fee before. We will never stay at a Courtyard hotel again.
