Holiday Inn Express Crestwood by IHG

Parking was a little tight but i always get a room because of the convenience, cleanliness, and friendliness of staff.

Girl checking us in did a great job. Elevators were broken down, which sucked because there was no air conditioning in the public areas, good thing we were only on the 2nd floor. Air conditioner in room worked but was extremely loud. There were only 2 towels in our room, when I asked at the front desk for more, I was told they were out, and we couldn't get any. This sucked, because we had someone in the shower and our only 2 towels were already used. I improvised and took two from the pool area. The hot breakfast was decent.

I booked this location for the pool and the pool was dry as a bone. Pool has been out of order. Terrible!!! I had things to print out which I normally do at hotels and this hotel’s printer was not functioning. Also I asked house keeping for towels. She came to bring them, knocked on the door and just came right in with her key!!!

The rooms are decent and clean. The hotel’s location offers convenient dining and shopping options. The nightly rate is affordable, but I recommend booking directly through their reservation system as Hotel.com and Expedia charge more. I wanted to experience the hotel’s pool, but unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to. During check-in, I signed my initial paperwork for my initials and signature. The front desk lady then handed me some paper about a weekend ordinance regarding parties and room occupancy. I read it with some dismay, but I was surprised to see that other guests were also checking in without receiving the same information. I asked why I was the only one signing the paper, and the front desk person and assistant manager (who introduced herself as such) stated that they had already signed it in a previous contract. I politely asked one of the other guests if they remembered signing it, but they said no. That was the beginning of my troubles. While on the elevator, it started making loud noises and buzzing, and it stopped between floors 3 and 4. As soon as the doors opened, I got off and started recording my Will on my phone just in case the elevator plummets from the 4th floor while I’m inside. As a result of the elevator issue, we had to take the stairs for the entire stay. There was an out-of-order sign placed on both elevators throughout the weekend. I’ve checked out and 7 days later I still have not received deposit.

The hotel is a craphole. When i checked in, the hotel staff was very nice so no issues there. The hotel seems run down.. I tried to get a workout in and both treadmills were broken and the elliptical didn't work well. Dont even advertise you have a workout room. Since i travel to Crestwood a few times a month for work, i'm going to stay at the DoubleTree instead.

We booked our trip through Hotels.com & paid for our room ahead of time. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were informed there was a $150 hold for incidentals the hotel needed to run on a card. We were not informed of this ahead of time, and had not made the necessary financial arrangements to be prepared for that. We were able to move some things around and make things work, but it was a very stressful and upsetting start to our trip. We also selected this hotel specifically because we wanted access to a pool. Upon arrival, we were informed the pool was closed for maintenance and would not be available for use. There was no notice on the website about that. The hotel itself was pretty average; no major amenities or extras. However, the bed was incredibly comfortable! And the staff was absolutely amazing. They were extremely apologetic about the lack of information and the pool being unavailable. They cut our incidental hold down to $75 for us, and they refunded us a night's stay for the pool inconvenience. They were incredibly understanding and supportive, which made the stay worthwhile.

Room was ok. A bit run down but still ok. Elevators were not working but we were on the second floor. However if we were on the third or fourth that would have not been great. Our first room was not correct. We booked a king with sofa bed and we were originally given just a king bed. We had 2 adults and 2 kids. So changed rooms to 2 double beds. Our first room in the king we only had 1 towel. Then changed to the 2 beds and there were only 2 towels. However the cleaning person was very nice and got us more. The cleaning people did come super early. 8am on our second day the maid came in to clean. We were still sleeping and forgot to put out sign. That’s a bit early but they were super nice and came back later. Breakfast was a little disappointing. Had bisquits and gravy 3 of the 4 days and eggs each day. Had sausage links 2 days. There were bagels, toast, and oatmeal and some cereal. But over all it was ok, just enough for the start of the day. Overall it was ok. We like this hotel because it’s close to family and we have stayed before. For the money it’s ok but compared to others it’s worth it.

The elevators didn’t work my whole stay…

Easy to walk the property. Thankful for the breakfast, although there was no more of your signature "bisquits and gravy". the elevators were a bit suspect and they may need servicing. My wife noted there was no longer a hair dryer in the bathroom. Other than that, all was well

Very very very very dirty room, bathroom! Floor dirty and sticky! Coffee tasteless! It’s was very uncomfortable for sleeping, because smell in the room was very bad! If you respect yourself, please don’t stop in this hotel.

It was ants on my bathroom floor a lot of them.

Staff were unfriendly when we first came in. We had a bit of a mix up that made us worry though the problem was resolved the staff was very unwelcoming. We had checked our room out and found the beds had hair in them and we ended up having to change our sheets of course no big issue but the woman at the front desk had major attitude issues. Never have I ever had anyone but my sister roll her eyes at me when asking for a change of pillow cases! It was crazy. I get that things can be overwhelming and people can be a lot but we definitely weren’t trying to be Karen’s even when we were being treated like that. You get what you pay for though I guess!

The staff was very friendly, and the room was clean. Price was not bad either! All in all, it was a nice overnight!

Staff was very professional and nice. The room was terrible. Ripped carpet, cracked/rusted/dirty looking tub, water around the window and above the sink, walls cracked, funny smell.

Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. The room smelled amazing. Walking in from a long flight to receive my keys was unpleasant. There was a very strong cigarette smell. Every time you walk through the lobby to leave and return there’s a strong cigarette smell. I noticed the hotel allows the smokers to post up right at the entrance.

Absolutely terrible- rooms are old, dirty and the whole second floor smelled like weed. The carpet was torn, the bedding was dirty. It was gross!

Very old and dirty, doors are filthy and I had the pleasure of have the previous quests personal towel left hanging on the hook in the bathroom

The dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in! You could write in the dust in the room. The floor in the breakfast area was so greasy my son could slide around in his sneakers. The back tub look like it came from a construction site and the AC sounded like a dying lawn mower. Seriously gross! Not a single carpet look like it had been vacuumed in a while. Very disgusting. Elevator smelled like vomit. I could go on but I feel this is enough.

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were amazing very comfortable. The only issue i had was when we got to our room there was hair on the sink and the bathroom floor and tub from the previous stay.

Not so good, very outdated.

2-night stay in a double room - room looked decent in the dark, but once the lights were on and the sun came in through the window you could see all the dust and dirt spots covering the room. The room smelled fine, but it was in need of a thorough deep cleaning. Toilet paper roll was nearly empty and 3 kleenex were shoved in the holder. Hair dryer didn't work, a light bulb was burned out, and the wifi was out for over 12 hours without the front desk realizing it. The bed pillows were useless and we ended up balling up our flat sheets which worked a lot better. Breakfast was not spectacular - juice machine was broken, coffee creamer was empty, hot items seemed overcooked. Decent selection of carbs. Fresh fruit was past its prime. But the coffee was hot and the fridge items were nice and cold. Front desk staff was attentive and pleasant. Breakfast staff and janitor were engaging. Bathroom towels were fluffy.

In the middle of everything, close to expressway and the bed was super comfortable

The bed was very uncomfortable. It was so noticeably sunk in it was impossible to sleep.

Only one outlet worked in the whole hotel room. The room is outdated except the Tv. Room was very smaller -smaller than your average room. Stains on the carpet. Pool area was nice.

Staff was very polite. Room furniture was very old.

I Holiday Inn an Crestwood is somewhere I visit at least twice a month sometimes so it's obvious that I like it however, this visit was the worst I've ever had. I had just gotten out of the tub and decided I wanted to watch television only to see that the television did not work, I couldn't take a bath because the stopper in the tub did not go all the way down so I had to stick towels in the drain in order to take a bath. When I went to turn on the television, it didn't work so I called downstairs and I asked if they could bring batteries for the remote there was a young lady that told me no sweetie. You have to come down yourself and get the batteries, I said, first of all my name is not sweetie and I'm probably old enough to be your mother and you need to address me as such. She got smart with me over the phone being very combative. There was a nice young man that came upstairs with batteries for the remote and I was able to watch television I've decided to go downstairs to address the young lady for calling me sweetie and to tell her that wasn't professional. She ended up again being very combative. Another young lady decided to join in on her side, telling me how they didn't have to bring batteries up after a certain time I explain to her head rooms been checked you would've known that my TV was not working properly and that my tub did not stop up properly. I ended up coming upstairs very upset, and my whole night was ruined.

All I can really say is the staff was amazing. Worked through an issue on my part and made it an incredible stay. Thank you very much for your assistance.

We had worst experience with the breakfast staff (Angela) , we did not know that breakfast started at 7:3o , the door was opened , we started to serve the food and the employee Angela started to scream to us . It was the worst experience that we had in one Holiday.

The attendant who checked us in was friendly and respectfully worked through an issue we were having with our reservation. All staff was friendly. They offered a good breakfast as well.

This hotel was clean and rooms were nice. But the staff propelled this hotel to the excellent level. Easy check in and ample parking. Always a “hello” when entering as well as “welcome back”. Breakfast was great!

Received a call a few hours prior to check that they overbooked and canceled my room. When I called their manager was extremely rude and would not listen to my concerns. Rather she talked over me. Then, when I told her to stop talking over me and listen she told me she was hanging up. Thankfully hotels.com saved the day and got me a better place and the people there were so kind.

It was close to everything. The staff was very polite. The front desk staff greet me every time i passed the desk.

This was okay stay. The service desk provided me wrong room number in which my key would not work. I went downstairs twice to get my key activated. Once I was able to get in the room there was someone already in room based off a bag in bed and room key on the counter. Thank God the person wasn’t in the room. The manager stated she was sorry about that provided me a new room. In this room the tv would not come on, went down twice for manager to provided me replacement room. This was hot mess of an experience. I haven’t stayed at this location since 2020 but it much better then.

This is our second stay at the hotel. The staff isn't just nice. They are beyond friendly. All of them. The rooms are clean, well appointed and quiet. Propertly has plenty of places to eat and shop. Overall a great exlerience.

Good location.

Room smelled like cigarette smoke. The hotel was gross, the hallways and floors were filthy. My car and 15 others got broken into.

everything was fine during our stay. Staff was nice rooms good and felt safe here. Lots of places to eat along the strip around this hotel.

My stay here was great. Just what my sister and I needed. Very relaxing clean and smells good. Breakfast was great and we didn’t have to pay for parking and it was safe convenient parking. We were truly disappointed by this particular Holiday Inn property. Our room had a poor quality mattress, our bathroom wall had water damage that had not been repaired, and the floor wasn’t even level. At breakfast we went at 9:15 am, when served until 10:30. There were no cinnamon rolls. Even waited for half and hour and only saw the attendant once, to bring sausages, during a busy time. Water needed refilled in the machine, the oatmeal was like thick paste too. Thoroughly disappointed by this property and will not be back.

Place was great breakfast was a plus and staff was really nice.

No air conditioning in the common areas on the first floor. Free breakfast was not good at all.
