Missing eggs & sausage . Room was average but for being handy capped accessible the shower lacked hand bars. Also all lamps had to be plugged in the switches were broken. Other wise ok. Parking was good.

The facility was nenly remodelled, however there was ongoing construction with upstairs ice machine and Pepsi machines not functioning. Workers in hallways near elevator, difficult to navigate around them. 3pm check in was delayed 30 minutes, 5pm the workers were gone, mostly. They were having a camp fire outside the fire exit door downstairs. Surreal. Staff were friendly, room clean.

Coffee Maker filthy, after me cleaning it, tried to make coffee-heating element burned out, had to get another coffeemaker from front desk - also used and filthy. After me cleaning it, I was finally able to make coffee. Property advertising continental breakfast and bar/lounge, neither available due to construction work underway in building which appeared to be of substandard workmanship, and no one working on it. Front desk staff asleep in chair, had to wake him to ask a question. Staff appears sloppy, complacent, and not the least bit interested in customer service.

I was given a room on the second floor and not told the elevator was not working. I had to make multiple trips up and down the stairs with my things. I did not have a microwave in my room. Breakfast: only regular coffee, no decaf, no juice of any kind, the bread was very dry and hard as a rock. It was nice to see the updated deco and lighting in the hallways.

If I was the owner of Wyndham I would be checking into that location, the elevator did not work. People with disabilities had to walk up the stairs. They didn’t have towels and wash rags in each room that we had. It was very little for their so-called continental breakfast the cart that you load your luggage in and out with was broken and held together with string..Someone needs to look into it . I know it’s independently owned, but it still has the Wyndham name attached. It’s giving them a bad name.

The property was under construction, which wasn't stated on Expedia. The covers on the be were stained as well as the bathroom towels appeared to be left over from the guest before.The curtains were nasty. Went to Walmart to but cleaning supplies to clean and a blanket to put on bed along with towels.

Overpriced in relation to comparable hotels in the region, especially when considering there was no breakfast provided due to "ongoing renovations". Stayed at a Super 8 the following night near O\'Hare Airport which was nicer, less expensive, and included a nice breakfast.

I had heard this was a relatively new motel, but the maintenance was extremely poor. The numbers were falling off the doors and taped back with masking tape. Everywhere in the common areas such as halls was dirty and unmaintained.The 24 hour front desk was almost never staffed. The 6:00 free "breakfast" wasn't ready on time and was poor anyway: a few tiny muffins, cereal, self made waffles, toast. Worst of all, there were bugs. The security was poor with the front lobby door open all the time and no one at the desk, and the door on the end being taped to prevent locking.

Very run down and it appears it has started to upgrade the rooms which is needed badly. The room smelled, the shower was disgusting, dirty, and the tub was stained and chipping apart.

I booked 3 rooms and they all had a horrible smell. I changed rooms and the next room had the same horrible smell. We had to buy air freshener to see if it would help and it helped just a little. The rooms were so dirty. The first room we had the sheets were dirty. Even the “do not disturb” sign was dirty! Everything was dusty. My parent’s room had horrible stains in the carpet. The only good thing was the second room had clean sheets. We only stayed 1 whole night that’s why we didn’t change hotels. When we told the staff they looked dumb founded like no one had ever complained before.

DO NOT STAY HERE — ROACH-INFESTED NIGHTMARE I had the absolute worst experience of my life at this Super 8 location (115 Arrowhead Dr, Hampshire, IL). I woke up at 5 AM with a roach crawling on the back of my thigh while I was sleeping. I jumped up, turned the light on, and to my horror — there were roaches crawling all over the floor, especially under my clothes and shoes. I moved one item, and at least a dozen roaches scattered. It was like something out of a nightmare. This place is FILTHY, unsanitary, and clearly infested. I now have to worry about whether any roaches got into my bags or laid eggs in my clothes. I was exhausted, disgusted, and anxious — definitely not the kind of night I expected to have while traveling. I immediately tried to contact the front desk and request a refund, and I will be contacting Wyndham corporate as well. This level of neglect and lack of cleanliness is absolutely unacceptable. Save yourself the trauma. DO NOT BOOK HERE. Spend your money elsewhere. I will never stay at a Super 8 again.

I booked this property over other properties because the listing saud it included a continental breakfast. The room was completely filthy, it smelled, had what looked like blood on the ceiling, hole patches on the walls and ceiling, mold growtg on shower curtain and bathroom walls, dirty microwave, stained furniture and to make matters worse, the fire alarm went off at 7am with lights and siren waking us up after only a few hours of sleep. The host did nothing to remedy any of these complaints. I took pictures to prove this place is a scam. I want my money back. This place is a health hazard!!!!!

Front desk service was horrible. No breakfast as listed in the listing. Room was dirty. Dead bugs in the corners of the bathroom. Shower curtain was filty, stained, and ragged. Bathroom light/fan sounded like a plane engine. They provided the thinnest blacket with cigarette burns in it. Furniture looked like it came from Goodwill. T.V. had l ike 5 channels that weren't sports or news. Smoke detector in the hall way beeped all night long then the fire alarm went off at 8:45 a.m. Sloppy plaster work and paint job. Pictures on listing are no where near what it looked like once we got there with 0 amenities that were listed. Will never stay again.

We found bed bugs in the room immediately packed up and went to the Hampton inn in Huntley. No sense talking to anyone even with another room we wouldn't feel safe. Unable to post a picture of the bugs but they are real. Find any other place

Staff was friendly and helpful. Nicely updated hallways. The room itself was quite comfy, partially updated but they could have updated the furniture. No complaints on the hotel itself.my complaints is the patrons there.let's talk hotel etiquettes we all know that the doors are heavy and they slam so why won't people slow the door down so it won't slam also truckers parked behind the hotel and all I can hear is their trucks still on.. luckily I was able to zoneit out and go to sleep

The grounds was cut had trash and thrown out food around. Not pet healthy. Services catered to people that they spoke their language. Check in was at 3 pm. I checked in at 6 pm room was not cleaned. Moved to another room and key didn’t work 2x had to get replaced back and forth. Next day same thing again key wasn’t working. Room was small and cramped even for one person.

Overall, it was a good hotel. Breakfast was somewhat limited to cereal and waffles. A couple minor issues with the hairdryer not working nor the lamp by the bedside not working. No trash can in the bathroom. Otherwise it’s been recently remodeled and is generally nice.

Even though I reserved my room over a month in advance, they did not have it available and gave me a different room. The TV remote did not work, and it seemed to be a difficult task for the staff to find a working one. Water pressure was almost non-existent. When the toilet got clogged, the person they sent to take care of it did not know how to use a plunger. I stayed two nights; had there been another option close by, I would not have stayed the second night.

Complimentary breakfast was awful. Only 1 wash cloth & 2 towels in rm that was booked for 4. Asked for more towels & was told they didn’t have any as they were being washed. Asked for rooms close together & they weren't. Staff not very friendly either

Upon check in I was told I could not have my service animal. Then I was told the person at the counter had to inspect my service animal. When I refused to let that happen, he said I can’t stay. 2 things here. One they are listed as dog friendly, they are not. Then they refused a service animal. I told the employee to call a manger or the police. Then he came back and said I can have a room this time. Not to mention the person is extremely soft spoken, construction fans running in back ground… then after paying full price I’m told they discontinued breakfast. I pointed out the reservation said it was included… seemed to fall on deaf ears

Staff is always kind and considerate. There were a couple of times where things did not work, such as hair dryer and microwave; however, I blame that on individuals who rent the room because they did not report it. Otherwise, anytime I need any assistance the young lady in the front is always so very kind and thoughtful. A wonderful place to stay!

Location was near the Illinois Railway Museum, the main place we had to visit. And the hotel is next to a gas station and Wendy's (happens to be my son's favorite) it was a pleasant experience. We will stay again if we visit the Railway Museum next time.

Tv never worked. Room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 5pm Breakfast is from 6am til 9am. At 8:30 they had only apples and self make waffles available. I asked where the food was. The attendant stated breakfast is almost over… I said it’s not 9am yet. He then asked would I like some cinnamon rolls , I said yes please.

I am waiting on a partial refund. Was only able to stay 1 of the three nights was told by one employee that I would get a partial refund for the rest of my stay as I did provide adequate notice under the refund policy. Still waiting. Room was very clean, up dated bathroom. Property under construction so no breakfast. Side door left open all night for who ever to enter the property..
