Toilet over flowed in addition it had a baby seat top that obviously didn't fit and when sat on it, it folded into toilet! Elevator didn’t work so had to use stairs which the hallway was nasty! Someone threw up in there and trash down the steps! Worst experience I’ve ever encountered there! I frequently stayed there when it was Extended Stay. My second time staying there since under new management. Just terrible.

Property is doing some internal refurbishing so little mess. Hallways could be lit better for safety and brightening up the hallways. Front Desk very helpful and nice people. My second stay at this hotel.

The elevator was not working and that kind of bothered me and my girl.

Very dated. Lots of construction happening inside. Weird smells in hallways and then room.

Elevator was an order and had to go to the third-floor first room they gave me was dirty second run they gave me somebody was actually sleeping there third room was disgusting will never stay there again

Elevators wasn’t working and everyone had to use the stairs’ but other than that they pretty Decent and service was great kitchenette, with stove ,big refrigerator and sink for it to not be a five star hotel.

Roaches everywhere Don’t waste your money or time.

The rooms were very dated, dirty, and smelled of cigarettes. The furniture was broken and the shower had mildew.

They have bed bugs and will not pickup the phone when you call with issues.

This was very bad. The rooms are very, very dirty. There was a cloth of blood in the sink with a chunk of tissue in it. There’s a constant smell of weed in the building. Never smelled so much weed in a day, and I live in Amsterdam. I would not bring children here, it is not safe. The parking lot is full of weird / drunk people

Stains in carpet, odor, mildew in shower. Disgusting Had to call front desk to make sure they were aware of massive stain in middle of floor so I wouldn’t lose my deposit.

The whole place had bedbugs. I got bit pretty bad and multiple people were complaining about the same issue. They wouldn’t do anything about it or give anyone a refund. Wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The outside looked decent but the inside needs total renovation. My room smelled like mop water. Closet shelves were broken and everything was dingy. Fridge was full sized but old and leaky. Wouldn’t stay again.

The UNTENABLE condition of the room being dirty, smelly, small creatures in the bed coupled with the disrespectful customer service received specifically from Ricky who was on duty Sunday, June 20, 2025. What should have been a 5 night stay ended up to be 1 night. Unable to connect to the wifi from the room, as such each time I wanted to use my devices I had to make my way down to the lobby. This has been so from check in Saturday July 19, 2025. I had to depart as they had refused to grant me an early checkout due to the unacceptable condition that I had brought to the intention. They have also refused to grant me a refund

Bathroom dirty, carpet hasnt been vacuumed or swept EVER, SHEETS were brown

There was no water pressure and no breakfast. The deadbolt wouldn't lock. But over all it was a good place to stay.

We were without water over night

The TV had no signal the whole time I was there and I wasn’t told @ the time of check in that the signal was out!

Good stay. cons: elevator wasnt working for the duration of our stay; front desk doesnt look too friendly, feels awkward checking in.; fridge does not cool. sushi and milk went bad. large stain on floor in our room. used soaps left in bathroom.

Room door pushed right open when I arrived. Lock doesn't work. After that I discovered the iron was missing and a hanger was hanging on the sprinkle (right in front of the "no hangers on sprinkle" sign. How often are you checking your rooms after "cleaning"?

Everyone’s been nice and helpful. Room is clean. Other guests get a zero for loudness and slamming doors. Otherwise would have been a nice trip.

Friendly staff, room was clean but a bit run down. There was an exposed light fixture, a broken shelf in the closet, and the stove top burners in the kitchenette were covered with rust. The hallways smelled like liver, and the room smelled like a wet rug. Maid service is only once a week, but you can get clean towels and toilet paper from the front desk.

The property canceled my reservation without notification. They said it was because I wasn't there at check in time when it says that i have until midnight. I had no where to go.

The room itself was great and the staff very helpful. My only issue is that we had to pay a deposit when we got there and that was not in the information when booking the room initially. It really put a strain on our trip and worried us if we could get back home safely. But they put it back on there quickly so I will give them that. But they need to be upfront about the deposit you have to pay.

Smells like vomit upon entrance and on elevator. Called downstairs several times they wouldn’t answer. Had to go downstairs and ring bell just to ask a question. Just overall poor customer service

Front desk staff was MIA for 15 minutes at check in. We rang the bell, tried calling several times and nothing. He finally shows up, no apology or anything. It was frustrating.

It’s was very okay and chilled back but the desk service was not good at all i had to wait at least 30 to 45 minutes befor i got into my room not fair at all other then that it was very nice and another thing me and my guest thought that free breakfast came with the room i thought that what it said before i booked online

The service was poor. No daily cleaning service.The rooms were non-smoking but the rooms smelled of smoke.There was a cigarette butt left in the sink.The sheets were not tightly fitted to bed but the bed was clean.The smoke detector had a towel stuffed in it. I can say the refrigerator was the cleanest of all. This hotel will not be my choice when returning to Chicago.

Where to start? The front lobby had an odor like spoiled food. The elevator required you push the button twice in order to fet the door to engage. I get that it’s an extended stay type of hotel but when I asked for additional towels, because they don’t service rooms unless you are there for more than 7 days, I was asked to bring the dirty and used towels from three days prior to the front desk. I found that odd but obliged. When I returned I stood there for over 10 minutes waiting on assistance. When someone did arrive the assistance I received was a plastic bag and a “put the towels in the bag”. You know I would have done that no issue if they had supplied the bag in the first place. Instead I stood in a lobby embarrassed to be there with a load of dirty towels, then was made to put towels into the bag in the same lobby in front of guests checking in. Gross and no respect given to anyone. Oh and for two nights I had to put up with some nut who LIVES at the hotel knocking on my door day and night and asking me to buy them alcohol and give them money. Fantastically disgusting stay and was happy to get my business taken care of and get out. Oh, and the photos of the rooms are pretty misleading as far as size goes and that “full kitchen” is double burner stove top and the sink knobs were really janky too.

I liked the location of the property, but the room smelled bad. I wanted to ask for another room, but I went down to the desk and over heard the desk attendant rudely telling some more guest that asked for another room for the exact same reason, that there were none available. I was tired, so I slept in my clothes on top of the covers and left as soon as my eyes opened the next morning!!

The property is meant for long stays.. so it is not a hotel per se. However, the equipment could have been well maintained. The cleaniness leaves a lot to be desired. There was a roach on the floor when i entered the room. Good points- small kitchen is available. Target is close by. If you do not intend to use it for entire day, then perhaps a good place to crash. Wouldn't recommend to someone without a car (self or rental). I used it to attend a 5 day meeting at Chicago. It served my purpose well.

The location is great. It is right by the expressway and accessible to everything

I never in my life had to pay for towels or housekeeping. No coffee pot or any other amenities.

First of all the hotel was full of people on the outside. I was told by the staff that it is a transient hotel. People have been living there for years. Your listing said breakfast, had NO BREAKFAST. No soap few towels one cup and be glass and I was told they do housekeeping once a week. I’d have to go and buy me some soap and tissue.I also asked to check in a little early I was told it’s $20 an hour for each early hour. TERRIBLE HOTEL. Your ad falsely advertised this hotel.
