Had a great time. The cost to park is ridiculous, since it’s a parking lot.

Service was sub par food was very poor not worth the money the pool was hard to find the front entrance ceiling looked unfinished and like it was about to fall apart at any second

The shuttle experience here is one of the most disorganized and unhelpful services I’ve experienced. I would recommend biting the bullet and paying for Lyft/Uber if you can because it’s not worth trying to figure out or dealing with the hassle of the service. In 4 days, I’ve been left early before the shuttle was scheduled to leave, 20+ mins late and now not even coming at all as I’m waiting on my Lyft in hopes of not missing my flight after waiting almost a hour in the lobby. The staff inside and at the front desk were great and were very kind during my stay. The room was comfortable and convenient to be closer to Midway. They genuinely were the only reason i had a positive experience with the hotel.

I was here for a conference so I didn’t spend much time in my room or at the hotel. However, be aware that you will be charged $70/night when you check in. It drops off when you check out. But, I wish I knew that before. What if I didn’t have the extra $210 in my account? Also, my room only had a refrigerator. The microwave was “community” and located in the ice machine room. Be sure to get disposable bowls and silverware from the restaurant BEFORE they close if you need to reheat food (styrofoam to go plates break down in microwaves). Which reminds me, breakfast is not included. I think the front desk said microwaves are only on the even floors… I like that they have their own airport shuttle. The hotel is pretty close to Midway. However, they only have one truck and it was in the shop. I ended up using Uber after all.

First time staying at Oak Lawn Hilton. The lobby, room, and hallway was clean. The front desk staff were great! Nice to have a restaurant on the premises. The room was spacious with fridge. The only thing is the elevator seemed small and older, and the bathroom was cut on an angle, which made logistics more challenging. Would still stay here again, because it is close to so many local amenities and restaurants.

I had a great stay at the Hilton Chicago/Oak Lawn! The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Everything about the stay exceeded expectations. My only (very minor) complaint is that the coffee shop hours were limited, which made it a bit tough to grab a cup when I needed it. That said, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the area.

Parking for $15/day in the suburbs is absolutely absurd. Especially w how much money is being spent on the reservation. However, the hotel was really really nice and clean. Elevators were broken half the time tho.

Parking fees are expensive. Once you pay the fee, you're told that the hotel isn't responsible, then what's the purpose of the fee?

The pool was cold but otherwise everything else was fine

Transportation Shuttle Service Not Good. I Catch My Flight At 5:30 A.M. Shuttle Service At Hotel Do Not Start Until 6:00 A.M Had To Catch Uber To Airport More Money I Had To Spend. Have To Pay For Breakfast $21. HAD VERY BAD EXPERIENCE ☹️. May God Continue To Bless And Strengthen You Daily 🙏😇.

Found blood and or fecal matter on not one but both beds resulting in me, checking out of their as quickly as possible. Not sure what happened to this property, but I've stayed before without any issue like that will never be staying here again. Property manager only wants to refund one night, but the question is who's picking up the tab on the change ticket since if there weren't any unsanitary conditions, I wouldn't have had to change it. For that reason you're getting the lowest rate well I understand this is an older property. That's all the more reason to ensure thorough cleaning is going on and clearly that's not happening.

I had a wonderful stay! The staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I’d definitely stay here again!

The room was not clean, the bathroom wasn’t even wiped or disinfected, you can literally see the water marks and dirt on everything. Tub didn’t drain properly and furniture is dated.

The room smelled of heavy air freshener when I arrived. When I woke up in the morning and turned on the light in the bathroom there was a two inch cockroach crawling across the floor. I will not stay here again.

The room is large and elegantly decorated. The king bed is very comfortable. Very large windows provide a great view. Nice refrigerator. Nice large flatscreen TV. Individual A/C control to allow the guest to adjust the setting. Great place to stay!

There was black mold everywhere. This hotel was the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I didn’t even take a shower that’s how bad it was. But I was too tired from a long drive to switch rooms. The hotel staff were friendly and nice. The ceiling had multiple leaks, the vanity had dust that looked like it had been there 20 years. There were tiny black bugs in the corners of the bathroom. The bathtub was peeling off near the drain. The carpet was wet and smelled like someone peed on it. I found unidentifiable stains on the carpet as well. I never took my shoes off. This hotel should be shut down until the owner repairs and replaces everything. Absolutely disgusting, uninhabitable conditions. Unsafe and Unhealthy even for the staff to be working there.

Typical stop on othe Southside. Desk help was great, as it always is. Room was clean. It's an old property, so it is showing some age. Bathroom is a little tight, but there is a separate sink area. HVAC unit is old and a little noisy, muffled by an old cap stand that does not allow the drapes to close correctly. Minor issues, but does not allow for 5 stars.

- clean - most of the staff was friendly and one woman at the front desk was rude. She was answering a question I wasn’t asking and this went in circles. She spoke over me multiple times. - rooms need upgrading - expect better from a Hilton - hotel is literal right next to rail road tracks. Heard the train go by multiple times. If you are a light sleeper like me, this is not the hotel for you

The property is definitely showing its age. Very noisy heating and cooling system. We had to change rooms the second night because the AC WOULDN'T COOL ANY COOLER THAN 73 DEGREES. Also the shower in both rooms left a lot to be desired.

Nice area, clean room, nice staff but for it to be a hilton the rooms are extremely outdated. In all honesty if my event wasn't there i wouldn't have paid for it because the rooms were so outdated. The chair even had stains on it, the desk chair was uncomfortable. There was a large gap in the door and the bathroom wasnt the best. But the bed was very comfortable & they have a smart tv you can watch Netflix on.

I was in room 1007. There was a VERY loud humming coming from the walls and ceiling, presumably central HVAC or maybe a water pump, not sure. Machines that are this loud are getting ready to fail (bad bearings, etc.)

I truly loved this stay! The room was big, clean, updated, bed was very comfortable and the view of downtown was an extra perk.

I liked the room being across from the elevator. However, the noise from the workers repairing the roof right under our room at 8 am was annoying

The front staff, in particular, Marilyn, always go above and beyond to make sure my stay and others is as smooth and comfortable as possible. I must say the other ladies ( who's names ive unfortunately forgotten),are also an added plus. very professional, helpful, aand knowledgeable. i love staying here. Really great job grls, i truly hope your hard work and dedication doesn't go unseen. Thank you all for every little detail you put your minds n thoughts to, until next time 6.6 - 6.8.25.. when my company asked if i were ok with staying here or would like a different hotel, i stayed with you guys, now going on, if im not mistaken, 5 or 6 mths? keep it up Hilton Team

My favorite part was how smiling, friendly, welcoming, and warm the staff are at this hotel!! Concierge staff, front desk, lady at the coffee shop, the restaurant staff, ALL were smiling and friendly and welcoming.

I have stayed in many Hiltons before. This experience was the top experience I normally get at the Hilton. Check-in was rough that should have been my warning. At check-in the lady was extremely rude to multiple people while i waited to be checked in. She yelled out your card decline to the lady in front me as if she was trying to embarrass the lady. But it actually was a chip issue.Next a man walked up and was super nice to ask for a WHEELCHAIR to bring in customer. He snapped at him and said i am the only one here and im helping a customer!! I was in no rush she easily could have step to side and gave him a wheelchair. It was so sad and the manners i ever seen at any Hilton i stayed at. She also did not thank me for being a Hilton member nor tell me breakfast times or, about the wonderful in house bar. She even seem annoyed when i asked about breakfast information. I understand there where at least 10 people in line to check in. But we must remember this is a place of business and customer service is a must!! My room was nice and clean. The bar and restaurants were great. The host at the restaurant were fabulous they checked on everyone with a smile. The bar had nice drinks and the best pizza. I stay at this Hilton for a couple of days.. i met over nice people but that one lady set a bad tone for my stay. Im just not use to have a bad time at any Hilton. But i do look for to stay at other locations.

I arrived at the hotel to check in and I was told their system was down so they were unable to give me a room. I waited almost an hour and as I was walking out I was told the system was back up but they didn’t have the room I reserved, they only had a room with 2 queen size beds. It was late and I just wanted to get some rest so I took the room. The woman at the front desk did extend my check out time from 12pm to 2pm so I appreciated that.

Stayed there for 6 days Hotel room is dirty kept calling no one is answering!! My nephew throw up no one answered i had to clean by my self until the morning came then i went to the front desk to get someone clean when they came they did some water on top and thats it trash can i had to open and call room service to take it in those six days my sheets didn’t change not even once!!

Jocelyn the front desk clerk was so nice and made sure we had everything that was needed.

Room was comfortable. Never had housekeeping for three days. Front desk not very friendly nor efficient. Diningroom food and service excellent. James and Freddie were the shuttle drivers, and they were incredible! Very accommodating to my needs. Police had to come the first night, and they said that was not an unusual occurrence.

The area Oaklawn is close to Chicago but has a suburban feel and also close to midway airport near shopping and restuarants.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hilton/Oaklawn. The staff was very friendly and my room was clean and comfortable. I like the fact that they still clean rooms and not just at checkout. Great location too!!

Property is very clean and well-kept. Staff is welcoming. The rooms are always clean and smell fresh. There is a coffee shop in the Lobby but the hours are somewhat limited, I wish it was open more throughout the day (closes at 11 AM on some days and 1 PM on others). Beds are super comfortable. Showers always have nearly instantly hot water. There's a lot of emergency vehicles that take the main road by the hotel towards the hospital that is down the street so sometimes it can be slightly noisy but the rooms are relatively well-insulated, you don't hear other guests in the rooms next door (other than the occasional slamming of a door or kids giggling down the hallway).

The hotel overall was very good. Restaurant was excellent

$30 for a breakfast plate from the buffet. I’m counting my tip, is ridiculous.

Front desk clerk was very rude, short & dismissive. had a slight issue with the debit card that I was using at which point she simply handed it back and said we don’t accept this & proceeded to walk away to the back. I was left waiting for 10 minutes while she was on the phone, then when she finally got back to booking my room she didn’t had booked a wheelchair accessible room & she acted as if she didn’t notice it on the reservation. I was initially given a regular room until I asked if it was accessible & only then did she change it. The bed was hard & the deaf housekeeper walked in my room twice because she couldn’t hear me responding to the knock on the door. I ordered food from the restaurant and it was horrible! The only vegetarian option they had was a black bean burger & it was like mush & had absolutely no flavor. My bf had a turkey club that was equally as underwhelming. They charged us &55 for two sandwiches a sprite & a lemonade. We were charged 20% gratuities & they wanted to charge an extra $5 to deliver room service to the room. Upon checking out neither of the people at the front desk acknowledged or even looked up at me. Needless to say I won’t be back.

Hotel was not bad. Bathroom size a little awkward, and everything costs extra; except water as they have a filling station. If breakfast pricing, at $26 per, wasn’t so ridiculous my review would have been better. But free transport to the airport was pretty damn nice.

Ms. Barb the server in the dining room for breakfast was wonderful!! She is personable and exhibited excellent customer service. She has more energy than most seniors you will ever meet! Oh, and by the way, breakfast was exceptionally delicious.

We have stayed at this property many times when visiting Chicago. Sadly times have changed with new fees and charges. We now have to pay $10/day to park in the lot. We now have to pay $20/plate for lukewarm buffet breakfast (used to be included in the room charge). We used to get free bottled water but now its $2-8 per bottle. We ordered room service (a single order of 8 wing pieces, a single club sandwich and order of calamari)....$75 before tip! Crazy! And we had to call down more than once for towels as we were travelling with children. We wont likely return to this hotel. Too many outrageous fees.

I appreciate the Hilton being closed to the event I was in town for. What I didn't like was the tub filling up with water while taking a shower. Otherwise, the hotel staff were awesome and the bar is great.

Nice property. Was not happy with being charged a surcharge for eating in the lounge.

Everything was perfect. Room was clean and staff was amazing. Breakfast was delicious.
