When booking, it should state they are remodeling. The floor was very wet down the hallway from the pool, making it slippery. This should have been monitored better. The bed was very comfortable though.

They were fixing the front entrance of the hotel, so it was difficult to get in and out - a temporary problem. Very little seating for breakfast, so it was difficult to find a place to eat. The elevator had issues one morning, so my 87 year old mother had to walk up the stairs to the third floor.

Room was gross. Pool water was dirty. Fold out bed had food and stains all over. Bathtub was not cleaned in months it seemed like. I will never stay at the Rockford Comfort Inn again. Worst hotel experience of my life.

The property was unkept and everything looked run down and dirty. I honestly regret staying here but I couldn’t get my money back. The room was disgusting. Blood on the pillows, mirrors and window were filthy, there was mucus on the walls. There were questionable people hanging around. I believe other activities happen there. It was nasty. They switched our room, but I would never stay here again.

While this property has been updated, it was a bit of time ago. Rooms were clean and spacious and the air conditioning once we figured out the control panel was good. Bathroom was small and towels and toiletries were on the skimpy side. Still this was a very comfortable room, especially for the price. There was a breakfast, but the hot dishes were barely luke warm. Only real complaint was the door to the room. While it is great that it is a heavy fire door, it was very hard to open and had to be pushed to fully close.

Shower flooded the bathroom floor, sink was way slow to drain. The room above us sounded like a herd if elephants stomping around till after 11pm and right away in the morning. Refrigerator barely kept things cold. The heat was either too hot or too cold.

We forgot some Orthopedic prescription items in our room and called once we realized we left it, maybe 3 hours after or check out. Staff said that nothing was left behind in the room. We know where exactly it was in the room and they denied it was there. Yes it was our mistake for not checking one more time before turning the keys in. But when it comes to this kind of stuff BE HONEST

We booked this hotel last minute because the disreputable Super 8 in Rockford wouldn't honor or refund our pre-paid reservation. The Comfort Inn was a welcome change, treated us great. The room was clean, beds crisp and fresh, all the features that we used worked perfectly, plenty of outlets, functioning microwave/tv/fridge, plenty of hot water and good shower head. Breakfast was deluxe, with waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt, all kinds of eats. It was just a really pleasant stay and also a good price value. I can't say enough good things about this hotel and the courteous staff.

Worst hotel experience I've ever had! The gentleman at the front desk was so rude and kept my whole deposit because my little niece and nephew came to visit and swam in the pool! Will never be back! There was beoken glass and house keeper came in the room and opened the bathroom door with my son using the bathroom!! The "housekeeper" had no name tag on or a uniform and didn't speak any English at all!

While this was not a 5 star hotel, we didn’t pay 5 star prices either. It was a very nice hotel for what we paid. There was pride and care taken in their work. The breakfast was good with a few different choices. Only complaint was the lobby size and only having 6 tables for breakfast.

When we arrived at our room we noticed that there was give to the door when you pushed lightly on it. Upon further investigation we saw that the lock plate on the door frame was missing and it looked as if someone had attempted to pry the door from the inside. We asked for a new room and they abliged. The breakfast in the morning was luke warm scrambled eggs and steamed sausage links. The coffee cups were extremely small which, turned out, was a good thing because the "press the button for bad tasting coffee with floaties" was awful.

We booked this hotel last minute because the disreputable Super 8 in Rockford wouldn't honor or refund our pre-paid reservation. The Comfort Inn was a welcome change, treated us great. The room was clean, beds crisp and fresh, all the features that we used worked perfectly, plenty of outlets, functioning microwave/tv/fridge, plenty of hot water and good shower head. Breakfast was deluxe, with waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt, all kinds of eats. It was just a really pleasant stay and also a good price value. I can't say enough good things about this hotel and the courteous staff.

Stay was good at this price point. Nicer places in the area but higher rates. It was sufficiently clean. Needs some updating. Breakfast was standard eggs, bacon, yogurt, fruit, cereal. Lots of restaurants and shopping close by.

The rooms were dirty got switched from room 2 times still was dirty I used the app was not able to get a refund. Went to Walmart to get cleaning supplies to clean the room my self. It’s not a very good experience note we had drove in from Texas and were all super sleepy just really wanted to sleep check out the next morning. Rooms need to be cleaned before you let someone in the rooms smh.

The exterior door didn't have a latch at all, the hallways looked like they hadn't seen a vacuum all week and the room was a teeny bit better. The power in our bathroom would randomly turn off and only one of four fixtures above the sink had working lightbulbs. The pillows were better than some hotels, the fridge and microwave worked. The AC worked, but had a stale smell. The complimentary toiletries smelled nice. There were some shifty individuals hanging out near the bus stop next door swearing loudly to nobody in particular. The breakfast was fine. Diy waffles, shelf stable pastry, yogurt, eggs, sausage and cereal in a bare bones lobby. We chose to skip the pool and noted it needed some TLC. Convenient for our sport tournament, would choose differently next time.

The front desk kept calling us however our phone receiver was broken so we could not answer the phone. Come to find out the person in the room next to us complained that they could hear the exhaust fan in our bathroom and it was “too loud” for her. She called the front desk to complain about it and also we had our tv on. So we couldn’t shower or watch tv without having her complain. When we told the front desk she had to move or get over it they told us to just not turn out tv on or have our exhaust fan on. Seemed a little bit ridiculous Mold in the bathrooms and sheets on the beds had blood stains and stains all over them.
