Holiday Inn Indianapolis - Airport Area N by IHG

Front office was super great! But we were sent to our room that was not cleaned had do wait outside while they cleaned it.. cleaned only some surfaces and vacuumed maybe 1/3 of the room

Hotel was extremely understaffed. The ladies at the desk were working more than 12 hour shifts with only a few hours off between shifts, 1st lady that checked us in was probably there for over 24 hours. 2nd one was still working when we checked out and she had been there for about 18 hours. Paid for breakfast when we booked but didn’t have enough staff to open the restaurant for breakfast

Room was clean and the staff was very friendly.

The air conditioner in our room had clearly leaked at one point and the wall was cracked all around it and repainted in a very slap-dash way. We returned from an event downtown and the carpet under the air conditioner was wet. Also, the bathroom is impossibly small. The shower was nice and large but a tall person couldn’t sit on the toilet and shut the door past their knees. Also, the restaurant is extremely overpriced! However; the lobby was clean and nice and the staff were kind and friendly — from the front desk to the restaurant. Definitely a budget hotel and had pros and cons.
