The pool isn’t accessible. No elevators.

Don’t let the Wyndham marquee foolr you. This place is old and it’s very dark inside. It’s not filthy, but it wasn’t immaculate. They said they had a gym. The gym was not open. They sent us over to the quality Inn, which they work with. We got there the gym at Q inn was inoperable did not work there either And then this morning a woman was from the quality Inn because they advertise breakfast and they sent them over to our place. The breakfast is a joke that still muffins from target and Tang for orange juice other than that no eggs or anything like that It was very dark, in the room in the AC unit was one of those ones from the 1960s that kept going on and off all night long in the fan in the bathroom rattled a simple $25 replacement but not done

The pool was under construction, which doesn't say on their website. I asked for another key because it had gotten locked in the room and he said no I already gave you 2 keys. Then as checking out he followed us like we were stealing, it was a bag of dirty clothes..Most of the staff was friendly and kind.

Didn’t see one and no pool and breakfast was not for adults waffles and cereal

No pool. Breakfast is terrible. The whole building smells. Prostitution happening out side on a rollaway bed literally.

Pool was closed for updating. However this was not mentioned at all. Person at the desk wasn’t always around or timely Staircase to the 2nd floor was in need of vacuuming. Side door didn’t close so anyone could just walk in the side door and no one would know a person came in. I felt unsafe. There was a key card thing to scan in with the room key. But the door didn’t lock anyone out.

There was 15 of us and we asked before making reservations if they was a pool and opened it they said yes and get there and no pool and they building was very hot and they we should have known.

Biggest complaint, after driving in the car for hours with a 7 year old, excited to stop for the pool, after all paid and room assigned, we were told the pool was not open. It took the staff over 35 mins to get us into our room, because the keys would not work, and while we waited, qe were standing in a non-conditioned hallway that was probably well into 90 degrees. When we walked into our second assigned room, there were no pillows. This place should not be represented by Expedia.

The accommodations were fine for the price. However, they claimed to have EV charging available and they do not have this (as far as I can thell, they never have). Also, the pool was closed for renovations upon our arrival. I did not receive any notice about this prior to arrival. This definitely could have been an issue had I brought my younger children with the promise of being able to use that pool, especially during the hot summer days. That being said, staff was friendly and helpful.

The outside doors did not lock, anyone was able to enter the building. The pool is under construction. The hotel had a strong oder throughout the building. The breakfast consisted of sliced bread and cookies.

This is a non smoking hotel. When we checked into our room, we were assaulted with the stench of smoke and cheap deodorizer in a failed attempt to mask it. We stayed only one night, less than 18 hours. By the time I got back home, all of my clothing, pillows, fabrics, and belongings smelled of smoke, even things I had not even taken from the bag.

I don’t even know where to begin. Just don’t do it. The mattress looked like it had been peed on by everyone who ever slept on it. The room smelled musty, was humid, and the AC did not blow very cold air. There was no parking, we were told to choose between a handicapped spot or a loading zone and were afraid we would get towed. We were put in a handicapped room with a handicapped seat taking up most of the bathroom and the floor was soaked. The towels were like sandpaper and the shower head was disgusting. The carpet was gross and dirty in our room. I wouldn’t have been happy had I paid $20 for this room, but I paid $130 a night, so I was really not thrilled.

Hotel is just in bad shape. Peeling wall paper, smoky smell, bathroom was not very clean (had old shower gel on side of tub and shower curtain. Breakfast was minimal and seating for breakfast consisted of 3 table with two chairs each . My daughter and I sat at a table where the chairs faced the wall and the table was up against the wall so we sat side by side staring that the wall. Anyways. Would not recommend

This hotel was drastically different than pictures. The staff was really nice and helpful but there was black mold on the walls in the room, there was trash all over the floor under the bed, the pool and exercise room were destroyed and not like presented. Lastly, the continental breakfast was not a breakfast. When questioned about where the food was, it was mentioned they needed to go to the store but there was nothing there to really eat for breakfast except for the coffee. I would not stay here. It was extremely disgusting and appeared like something out of a horror story.

Room had blood stains and was nasty

DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL. Smells terrible. Poorly maintained. Nasty rooms. I took pictures and videos of it all. We arrived late with 3 kids so we endured the first night of our two night stay but we left early and went somewhere else for our second night. Our room had a broken shower faucet so we couldn’t even shower. There were bugs in the room. Hair clumps, dot, dead spiders on the floor, exposed outlets, blood on the wall, mold all over the shower curtain, no towels or wash cloths. The smoke detector didn’t work. We lost power to our entire room and they switched our room and the second room was just as gross. Sleep in your car before you pay to stay here.

Very disappointed. Room was damp and smelled like smoke from decades ago and mold. Bathroom had dark mold between shower walls and tub and the tile floor with grout was very dated and hard to clean properly. Thankfully I didn't have to use the shower/tub while I was there. Paid ~$107 for the night. Bed seemed clean and was comfortable enough other than sheets feeling damp from room humidity. People were nice enough.

Room was clean but many things should have been repaired. Ceiling falling down, no towel bar(broken off) lock for door sitting on sink, mold in tub.

Most concerning was one of the locks were broken off our door and bathroom was not the cleanest. The building also had a very strong smell there was an employee walking around spraying something by to help cover it but it just kinda mixed. Also just an inconvenience was the pool was not open understand things happen and honestly due to the overall cleanliness of building not sure we would’ve used it but my kids were looking forward to the pool. The pictures from trip advisor were deceiving.

Worst hotel stay of my life. There was a rotting chicken nugget behind my bed, which I found because I had to make the bed myself, and I went to open the extra roll of toilet paper and it had blood on it.

Basic amenities if you just want a place to sleep at night. The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked. Shower was a pathetic little spray but that's not their fault, it's the stupid gov't.

While the associates were friendly enough, the property is in dire need of a COMPLETE renovation. From the ‘80s decor, to the VERY low bathroom vanity where I had to almost squat to brush my teeth, to the polyester dark floral bedspread on the terminally flattened hard mattress, to the funk that immediately hit me when I opened my room door. Despite being a “non-smoking” room, it was apparent that the ghost of Marlboro past and marijuana and flip sweat and donkey rump and body fluids continued to haunt that space. I feared for my pest-free life with every step on the carpet that likely used to be a very gleeful and much lighter color than its current moody suicidal darkness. It was a smell that makes you expect to see critters and hope the stink does not get into your clothes. Ironically, (thankfully) I did not see any critters, the hotel and my room were tidy, and the door locks/keys were electronic. But, unfortunately, my mind had already been sent spinning. I barely slept for fear of something tiny or minute like lice or something. To be clear, there was no evidence of lice, but my mind made my scalp itch all night anyway. I’ll probably end up buying some RID spray later, just in case. Screw supply and demand, the price was not worth the value. Otherwise, my stay was okay and convenient in distance to my friends.

The room was outdated, no hot water for showers, towel rack was obviously broken off previously in the shower, lamp shade missing, coffee pot did not work properly.

Remarkably the bed was comfortable Floors and bathroom were sticky. Tub didn’t look clean -stuff of the walls and lamp shades While air worked the room was so humid-everything seemed damp

Room was nice, but bathroom was well worn; tub & sink look like they need replacement.

This property was OK. I didn’t expect much because I was looking for an inexpensive option but the property had a smell that no amount of air freshener could cover. Also, the WiFi was terrible. There is no excuse for that in 2023.

Pillows not very good and edge of be was broken down.

Out dated. Light bases were rusted and outlets on the light bases did not work. refrigerator was loud. Things were left in the freezer. crumbs were left on the carpet.

Thin walls and cheap beds

The shower head had a Walmart bag wrapped around it and when the shower was running- it still leaked around the bag. One of the light bulbs flickered all night even though it was turned off and there was no shade or cover around the light bulb.

Upon check, staff asked extremely personal questions such as "why are u checking in so late", "where's your boyfriend?" and "why hot tub room if you're alone". Made me feel extremely uncomfortable and u safe. Even after I stated that's not your business, he continued asking personal questions. Hot tub was nasty, black spots in the bottom. Had to go buy bleach at the store. Even after cleaning, I had a slimy residue when I got out of hot tub, had to immediately shower.

Once we got to the hotel they did not tell us but charged our credit card another 151.00. When I asked about it they said it would be refunded the next day. Upon check out I was told it would take 7 days to refund it. They weren't very friendly about it!

Dealing with the hotel trying to get money from Expedia. The hotel staff spoke limited English and would not call Expedia to deal with the issue.

room was unsatisfactory. upon initial inspection toilet was clogged and spot in the wall that had a hole was black on the inside and appeared to be moldy. went to the front desk to get a plunger, found somebody in the hall who could help. after plunging the toilet walked around to inspect the rest of the building and decided to checkout due to lack of amenities listed when booked and unsatisfactory room. stood at the front desk waiting for 45 min - a hour waiting on somebody to show up. tried calling and using pager, nothing worked. some guests waiting to check in left.

Worst check in experience i’ve ever had and rude on sight staff. Room quality was not great. I would not recommend staying here!

While we were sleeping in the bed a man allegedly from housekeeping barged into the room without knocking and yelled at us to check out. This was well after we had already requested and were approved for a late check out. He was very rude, disrespectful and pompus. Clearly there is poor communication between staff and management.

Everything you would want in a home away from home. Great staff, friendly, welcoming.

My first room they checked me into was a unmade bed, uncleaned room, 2nd room key didn’t work. Pool & work out room not functioning! Staff focused on themselves verse clients.

This hotel has been our home for a week when my son attended a competition at Ball State University. The location is at the center of many dining options. Very near at Ball state. All the staff are approachable, kind and very helpful. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Convenient to college

There was nothing special in the room or property. Rooms are accessible. Place is very convenient to almost everything food, shopping. I recommend it if you looking for economic and convenient place to stay for a night or two this is the one. I will definitely stay in this place again when I come back to Muncie.

Good cleaning room breakfast was terrible

They didn’t disclose that the pool and the fitness center were closed. The breakfast was hardly a breakfast, they had stale muffins and ice cold gravy. The juice machine and the waffle maker were broken.

Website advertisement said hot tub and pool. There was no indication on the website that the pool was under renovation. There were only two choices for breakfast, cereal or waffle, and no tea or hot chocolate. My daughter described it as a creepy hotel.

My family and I stayed here for one night. We thought our beds were a bit on the hard side. I was not impressed by the breakfast options. Every hotel I've ever stayed in with "free" breakfast always has some kind of hot options, like eggs and breakfast meat. We only had packaged pastries, cold cereal, and instant oatmeal. They did have the make-your-own waffles, which was the saving grace. They also had a juice machine that had zero juice in it. The pool was also closed and my kids were looking forward to an evening swim.

The hotel is worn out. The breakfast? They say you can't take food to your room, good because for what there is it simple don't take anything.

The breakfast sucked, basically just different forms of sugar.

My wife and I stayed three nights in the hotel. We slept very very well. However, the breakfast nook did not have any orange juice, it did have apple juice, but the machine was broken. It was reported to the staff. There was no tea for the hot water, and the coffee was lukewarm - both in the kitchen area and out front. I thought the staff should have checked to ensure it was not empty in the kitchen area, they directed me to go to the coffee thermos up front. As for not having tea - for three days -how difficult is it to run down to the store and buy some tea? Aside from breakfast area, the staff seemed like their hands were tied; they are not mechanics. But on a positive note: The room was very comfortable. We came back - staying a total of three nights. That should tell you something. There was coffee in the rooms , we bought our own tea at Meijer's.

Well rhe pool is closed during summer due too the heater not working. But isee here that it has been that way along time. The breakfast was waffles, stale bread, hostess oatmeal pies, cereal, and 1, yes 1 brown orange. The carpet is wavy and dangerous if you don't see it. No elevator. The desk people are very unfriendly. Never again.
