Great location. Lots of shopping, and restaurants close by. Very clean inside and out. Comfortable beds. The pool was a nice area. Breakfast had hot menu items had lots of choices.

When online and I reserve a room because we were there for volleyball, and it showed a pool that's why I chose it. A group of girls for volleyball stayed here to have the pool. If the pool is closed it needs to say that online. I could have gotten a $100 cheaper room across the street with no pool. This was ridiculous. That's all my girls look forward to. It should have been given to me at a cheaper price after going to customer service about this

Absolutely beat down hotel. Desperate need of some maintenance and some paint. HVAC system in the room was so loud that we got very little sleep. And they charged $3 to park. Come on, you aren't a downtown hotel where parking is limited. What a joke. My best advice would be to avoid this place at all costs. If it's the only hotel in town available you would be better off just sleeping in your car that night.

Very disappointed main reason for choosing this hotel was the pool which was all locked up and unusable could have gotten a cheaper hotel if i would have known. Staff was nice. We checked in on a friday and out on Wednesday house keeping was never in our room had to go to front desk to ask for fresh towels. Hallways and elevator floors were not clean. However they offer a very good breakfast

I was not informed of parking lot construction and had to park across the street. The street was very busy with constant traffic. This is something that the hotel should have informed guests about upon booking. Also, there staff was very unprofessional or not available.

Swimming pool water was too salty. I have a salt water outdoor pool at my house so i know that the salt used in this pool was out of balance. It should not burn the eyes and have an overwhelming salty taste

Bed was comfortable linens were crisp. The shower was very outdated with mold around the tub. The airconditioner was one of the loudest I have ever encountered. The parking lot had a large portable light post in the middle of it and gave us the feeling there may be some break ins of cars there.

Nice hotel. It was a breath of fresh air going there after having to abruptly leave the hotel across the street because of bugs and poor accommodations. Hotel was clean and i have no complaints. It was a standard breakfast of biscuits and gravy and eggs and bacon. Normal Fairfield breakfast. Muncie isn’t a town I’d visit for anything fun because there is nothing to do and the food in the area is subpar but i know a lot of people go for the college which is why i was there for a weekend. Don’t plan to visit anytime soon but if i have to I’d stay at the Fairfield again.

I had to wait over 15 minutes for the front desk person to show up to check me in. At 6:30 am there is no coffee in the breakfast area. No liners in the bathroom trashcan. The bedding did not smell clean. Absolute joke.

Location was great, and very quiet considering it's in the middle of two busy roads. Room was clean and breakfast good bathroom was a bit dated with some rust and old caulking. The heater was old and noisy, and we endednup unplugging b it.

This hotel needs updating inside and out. The room was damp and musty and the old AC unit in room was no help. In general, this hotel had an overall musty smell that was covered by air fresheners throughout the building. The staff were all nice and the included breakfast was decent.

We stayed in the king suite. It was clean and spacious. It's not nice to have a sitting area. But the TV can't be seen from the couch since it's in a cabinet. The pull out sofa was TERRIBLE! Thin "mattress" with springs poking you. Bring your own bedding, because the blankets are super light. Traffic noise was terrible, so best to be on opposite side of hotel. Breakfast was great. Manager was helpful and nice!

My stay at Fairfield was friendly, clean and safe. I had had a bad experience the night before at a different hotel chain. I told the clerk at the front desk (Valentina) about my experience, and she was very understanding and delightful to talk with. Check-in was a breeze and Valentina even called to check on me later. I appreciated that very much. My room was spacious and clean. It was a relief to feel safe and comfortable. I slept like a baby.

The staff there is absolutely fantastic, we have children and they was very accommodating to anything we needed or asked for. It was a very clean and friendly environment! When we travel back to Muncie we will definitely be staying there again!

I reversed Two Queen Beds for two adult women, the hotel was overbooked & changed my reservation to a King Bed with a sofa sleeper. No call, no email before my arrival & nothing when I checked in. After I walked into my room & noticed the mistake, I went down to the front desk to let them know. Front desk informed me that because of the overbooking, her manager changed my room. A whole baseball team was staying at the hotel so I guess they got priority. Not what I expect from a Marriott. I asked for a credit, but the manager was off that day, I guess nothing will be done. I will definitely rethink staying at a Marriott again.

Although the property is an older property, it is well maintained. There are no musty odors. Everything was colorful. Breakfast is what you would expect for a hotel lobby breakfast. They did have some good selections. Everyone I met there staff wise was friendly and helpful. Wood stay here again.

It was a nice overall and very clean. We had a first floor room and oddly the window was cracked open and we didn't realize it until morning (which made us feel a little unsafe), The breakfast was ok but not great. Overall a good stay that is close to Ball State Univ.

The breakfast attendant was very helpful and friendly. She even brought out a plate of bacon for our aunt when she heard her say she wanted some. This was especially nice because our aunt and all of us were in town for her sister’s funeral (my mother-in-law). This hotel is good choice when visiting Muncie, especially if you want to be near Ball State or the north side of town.

The breakfast attendant was very helpful and friendly. She even brought out a plate of bacon for our aunt when she heard her say she wanted some. This was especially nice because our aunt and all of us were in town for her sister’s funeral (my mother-in-law). This hotel is good choice when visiting Muncie, especially if you want to be near Ball State or the north side of town.

Great location. Lots of shopping, and restaurants close by. Very clean inside and out. Comfortable beds. The pool was a nice area. Breakfast had hot menu items had lots of choices.

Food options for breakfast were great. Everything was clean. Beds were a bit too firm for us but managed. Bathroom was a bit tight. Everyone was nice. Lots of kids being really loud running down hallways on 2nd floor friday night, saturday was quiet though. Close to restuarants and shopping. Didn't use pool or whirlpool but it was open.

Food options for breakfast were great. Everything was clean. Beds were a bit too firm for us but managed. Bathroom was a bit tight. Everyone was nice. Our room was neat and comfortable. TV cable set up is lousy. Breakfast was excellent. Nice variety, Hot food and many drink options. Tea choices were better than usual.

Breakfast was not good. The beds were comfy. The front desk was friendly. No shampoo in the shower and room was so hot. Even with the air on in November.

Great stopping point for our trip. Stayed one night. Breakfast was good too! A/C in the room was a bit off, but turned it way down and it kept us comfortable. We will stay here again.

I had to wait over 15 minutes for the front desk person to show up to check me in. At 6:30 am there is no coffee in the breakfast area. No liners in the bathroom trashcan. The bedding did not smell clean. Absolute joke.

When we arrived we were greeted by a very pleasant cleaning staff. We had to wait 15 minutes for the front desk person to get out of the bathroom. My daughter was waiting outside of the bathroom waiting to use it, while listing to someone watch videos on their phone. It was not until the person came out that we found out it was the manager. There was black mold on the curtains in our room. The comforter had dirt stains on it. When we went down for breakfast, there was very little food. Cold eggs, undercooked bacon, no oatmeal, and no fruit.
