Pool was off. Freezing cold.

The hotel needs to be shut down. It has been under going repairs for years. I’m from the area and it’s still has a few of the same issues. I was notified about the “remodel “ hours after I checked in. Mind you it was no refund. We just got a room to take the kids swimming and left the hotel within hours. The hotel smells like mildew and the room was 10x worse with the same odor. The mattress protector was stained and they didn’t even bother to cover it atleast with a bed skirt. The microwave had food in it from the previous people. It was absolutely disgusting, and the staff was extremely rude, knowing how that hotel looked. Moms around the pool, out of service hot tub full of dirt and dead bugs. Numerous rooms empty around the pool area with rooms full of junk. They didn’t even care to close the blinds. The workout equipment was ALL out of order. NEVER AGAIN.

Very friendly staff, great breakfast, pool area very warm. Hot tub not functioning (was shown in some pictures, so I was expecting it to be working.) Overall nice stay.

No bugs is always my main concern. So we were happy to find no bugs. But our room was not ready when we arrived, stated they can’t have the room ready if people don’t check out at 11 (plus the 3 other rooms that weren't cleaned yet they said). The housekeepers were so friendly. Can’t say about the breakfast staff, didn’t interact with them but breakfast was adequate, not a big variety but I was satisfied. Very nice looking pool, didn’t use it while there. Bathrooms (ours and our neighbors atleast) make this weird kinda loud noise after flushing. And the tub was kinda moldy. The boxspring protector had like vomit or something on the side of it. Room was very humid if showering so the fire alarm will start beeping like a dead battery, staff was aware, first asked if we were vaping, then said that this happens often when showering and told us to turn the exhaust fan on (which already was on). Room was adequate for the price. Supposedly doing construction or renovations so baseboards were gone also.

The staff were all very friendly and the room was clean! No issues there! However, the reason we booked this hotel was for the indoor pool which was not working (don't know why). The hot tub was also not working. I feel this should have been posted/noted. We were very disappointed.

The room was really clean and comfortable and the staff were absolutely amazing! The pool was a great touch, even though we didn’t use it to its full potential!

The food was great. Couldn’t go to the pool after driving all day. Construction over by the ice machine.

Our stay was great. The pool area was very nice. The hot tub was not in service. The room was clean.

The outlets were falling out of the wall, microwave was broken. Whole room ran on power strips. Looked clean but smelled like mold.

Clean room, fresh towels every night, ac was cold as ice, very nice.

Carpet was pretty dirty and sticky. Found a few roaches crawling around. Still not bad for the price I guess

I looked at reviews on Gold Vaults website… it was rated an 8 of 10….. it was dirty.. the carpets haven’t seen a vacuum in months, at least. The shower in one of our rooms only worked with cold water while the microwave didn’t work at all. In the other room there were wet sticky spots here and there on the carpet, dust everywhere and to make matters even worse the night before we left ( pretty late when we got back ) we saw roaches crawling up the wall.

The pool was nice, but the surrounding sitting space was poorly taken care of. Our room fridge was moldy and wouldn't cool. The room microwave didn't work. Our lunch leftover steak and sides went bad. There were dead bugs in the shower and under the sink. The bathroom floor was sticky and had visible dirt.

I was actually surprised at how clean everything was. It does look like an older hotel but its upkeep was exceptional. I have really no negative comments about my stay.

This place was absolutely disgusting I wish that I could insert images and videos towels in the rooms were filthy stains all over the sheets that were on a “clean bed” and when asking for more blankets the front desk attendant starts to go into other rooms to look for more instead of going to the laundry room. There are plenty more things that were terribly wrong with this place and I Was charged 150 in deposit and also paid for the room just for it to be Un refundable and dirty ended up leaving in about an hour I could not stay here. DO NOT DO WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Good rate, bathroom was clean, room was clean. Have stayed before and will stay again

No issues except that the bathroom door would not shut. It was not aligned correctly and would not close. Everything else was great.

Nice staff, although a fairly dated hotel. When I booked it, it was a single king size bed but what was delivered was a queen size bed.

The dresser/entertainment center had all of its legs broken off. It was leaning back with the tv on top. There is no place to hang up clothing. The outlets were so loose that plugs would fall out. They had power strips everywhere in the room. The curtains had mold on the bottom off them.

Very decent hotel. A little aged, but very well-kept and pricing was more than fair. My only dislike was that the rooms are not very soundproof ... I could hear all the noise from the pool area, people in the hallway, and room next to me. I am an early-to-bed, early-riser person, so loud noise after 8pm is sleep disruptive for me.

Room need somewhere to hang your clothes

The property is old and outdated with carpet theoughout. Carpet was green with paint stains all over it. Lamps were dim with no overhead light on the room. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Curtains and shades had holes in them. But the place was quiet and AC was cold.

super convenient to the Ft Knox base - also, definitely a small step up on Motel6 and Econolodge, without much added price tag. The property is older, but clean, and staff is friendly. My room had a view of the indoor pool (a first for me), but I think if I had really wanted an outside view, I could have asked to change. One drag: you definitely have to run the AC to prevent the room from getting muggy, and the AC unit is pretty loud. But that's to be expected at this tier accommodation. Zero roaches spotted, and the floor (carpet) was clean enough to walk around barefoot. Bed was comfortable, sheets were clean, no bugs. Quiet at night, as promised. Would stay again.

Overall I was very satisfied with this property. However the one negative was a pretty big one. I stayed in room 150. I found the air conditioning unit was an issue. The manual control knobs could not change the setting. The unit was blasting very cold air 24-7. I notified the front desk and they said they were aware of the issue and had a maintenance ticket opened to repair it. My issue is why rent out a room you KNOW has issues. I was there 2 nights and nothing was every done to address the problem. I had to use the ironing board to try and block the cold air at night pointing at the bed. The 2nd night I used towels held down by the iron to block the cold air. This was the only negative issue I had. Otherwise I thought the property was great. I would stay there again but next time I would demand a new room.

The stay was fine. The room was comfortable and clean and there was an indoor pool. The only issue I had was only half of the building had functional WIFI, and I got a room that had no signal at all

The staff is always helpful and wonderful.

At check in the guy was rude. Asked for a $100 deposit which was fine but then said it had to be cash. When I asked for a receipt for the deposit he said “we don’t give receipts for the deposit”. The air didn’t work well in the room. Front desk staff are not friendly or helpful

Staff was amazing

The room had blood splatter on the walls, didn't notice it until the day after because we only got the room to sleep while visiting family. Only time we were at the room was to take our stuff up to room and sleep after spending all day and evening with family at their home. Not very long after check out, we get a notification of a charge of $275 from the Inn. So. I call them, they didn't ask me my name or which room I was in, but automatically stated that the charge of $275 was because we smoked in the room. The house keeper said when she opened the door the smoke just about knocked her down. I informed her that we did not smoke in the room, we only were in the room to sleep and when we wanted a cigarette we walked outside to stand and or sat in our car. I told her she needed to check her cameras. There was no manger to speak to of course. Get hung up on. I get to thinking and realized that they never asked me for my name or room number. So I call them back, and the woman said that I told her we were in room 123. I told her I never told her that and 123 most certainly was not our room. She then hung up on me a second time. Few minutes later my phone rings and it's the Inn, I believe they accidentally called me and could hear two people speaking about a credit card and to do this and just leave it alone. I asked what are you leaving alone? Yet again, I was hung up on. Call the Inn this morning, once again no manger is there, and don't know when the manger will be back.

Was booked for a room and found after getting the key that someone was already staying in the room. This is concerning as they overbooked and that someone else can get keys to your room as a mistake which was blamed on a different shift. The service desk was unable to do anything (check for rooms or refund my bill without calling assistant general manager)

Rude staff. Room wasn’t ready. Waited 5-6 hours past check in time before room was ready. Unwilling yo accommodate.

Because I live within a 50 mile radius of the hotel, I was informed at check-in that I was required to pay $100 cash deposit for each room. I had 3 rooms booked. The hotel didn’t have an ATM. I had to drive several miles to a bank to retrieve the cash while my friends and family waited in the lobby. The card keys didn’t work to 2 of our rooms. The receptionist tried resetting the cards twice, which didn’t work. The maintenance men attempted to fix the problem by changing the batteries in the locks, but that didn’t work either. We decided to just leave the doors unlocked so we could at least put our belongings in our rooms and enjoy the rest of the afternoon. We didn’t get into our rooms for 2-3 hours after we checked in.

All of your staff is so hospitable. They go the extra mile to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible.

the site said i could check in at any time but when i got there they told me i couldn't very disappointed. sent a email about getting a refund and they have not responded.

I love staying here. I have several times. But I have yet to recieve my deposit money back and its been over the 5 -10 business days I was told it would take to see it back into my account. I wont be staying here any more if thats not resolved asap.

Hotel is nice and clean with a friendly staff. There are a few restaurants you can walk to and plenty you can drive to. Panning to stay again on my next visit.

Totally fine - friendly staff, safe, clean, super convenient to Ft. Knox. It's not fancy, and the building is older, but it's definitely ok to stay if you are looking for an economical option.

Needed a 2 night stay, not anything to complain about. There is a walmart just down the street and Aldi. Location was good, easy to find.

Convenient location to Fort Knox for my son's graduation ceremony and Family Day! Clean and comfortable room - great value for the money!

Breakfast was not that great, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, and mini muffins. Never had any milk for cold cereal and the waffle machine was broken.

Staff was very nice and friendly. Rooms are outdated. Tub is the older, yellow color. The sink is set low. I am 5'5", and it came right below my waist. Breakfast was sparse. I did not use the pool. No movie channels. For the money, it is a good value. I would not stay herr for a family vacation.

Good value for the money. Older dated hotel, but clean and staff was friendly, would stay there again. Cons were the walls didn't isolate sound well and on a busy road. Breakfast was nice, but had a small selection.

The place was a good place for my son and I to stay. Room was outdated and old. Staff was very friendly. The breakfast was pretty much nothing. We did enjoy the pool and pool area. It was great.
