Hilton Garden Inn Bossier City, LA

Room was average on cleanliness, had missing lamp bulbs. The issue is the air conditioning. We have stayed here multiple times and on every stay, you can NOT get the room cool enough to sleep comfortably. We even brought a fan and woke up sweating. Unfortunately we will be trying somewhere else close by on our next trip.

I paid for the breakfast and waited for 30 minutes to be served and was never acknowledged

My partner and I traveled to Shreveport for his uncle’s funeral. After an emotionally exhausting day, all we needed was a place to rest. Check-in was a red flag, the front desk staff couldn’t complete the process without the manager showing her which keys to press. We were then issued a room key that failed to open the door, flashing yellow repeatedly. We returned to the desk. No apology, no assistance, just a replacement key and “just try it again.” That key failed too. We never entered the room. After the second failure, my partner who was grieving and exhausted, lost his temper. This was a moment for de-escalation. Instead, the manager immediately demanded we leave, made no attempt to resolve the issue or offer an alternative room. When I asked for a printed receipt confirming his verbal refund promise, he refused and called the police. We were removed from the property without accessing our room or receiving any refund. I understand my partner’s reaction wasn’t ideal, but I paid for a one-night stay and were never actually given usable access to the room due to repeated key failures, and then we were effectively removed without receiving the service. I am currently pursuing legal action.

We enjoyed our stay overall, staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is lovely. Our only concern was that one of the queen beds in the room made loud noises when you rolled over or got in or out of bed. It was the bed closest to the bathroom. I think our room # was 1335.

1. The bathroom had dried blood under the bathroom sink in the floor. 2. The tub safety handle has rust around drained down the wall. 3. Called the front desk at night and no one picked up the phone.
