Was a great stay. Wish they had an elevator as a mom traveling alone it was a hassle to get everything up and down the steps. We also wish they would keep tho pool open for longer hours. The sign posted stated pool times 8am until 10pm. The pool gate stayed locked while we were there

Mac, the manager was very helpful as was other staff. The continental breakfast had waffles, muffins, cereal, yogurt, apples and coffee. There was an outdoor pool, we didnt use and a wooden swing, we did use. The downside is dryer was broken, no exercise room and traffic in front of hotel is very heavy. Otherwise, great stay.

Really disappointed I couldn’t use the pool. It was listed as having a pool. Then was told it was for residents only. Never saw anyone in it the whole week I was there. I’m a 52 yr old grandma who just wanted to float in the pool for an hour while in New Orleans.

I have contacted the owner and the manager over my concerns. They charged me for a 2nd deposit when I rebooked a second night and I hadn’t even been refunded my first nights deposit. After waiting for the front desk lady for 10 mins to come to the desk. My BF and I have stayed here for consecutive days in the past several weeks due to his job and never had this problem. Also- was without WiFi for hours. I had to call Cox business to fix it. No breakfast. Staff is friendly. Doors close at 11 to lobby so just feels sketchy if you use side doors that DONT lock. Found risky things by the bushes by the side door. DO better. I want a refund. Also- people in several rooms upstairs blasting music! All rooms smell like smoke and our air conditioner had mold. Our other room was the same kind of room had an armchair and the room this time didn’t have one. Just inconsistent.

The side door to the hotel isn’t secured as it’s supposed to be. The key card reader is broken so the door is always open for anyone to enter at any given time. There’s no elevator to the upper floor. You have to climb the stairs with all of your luggage which means making multiple trips. I left a day early.

Put me in a smoking room after requesting non smoking. Smelt like weed and cigarettes. Dirty rags on the floor left by previous guest. TV remote didn't work. Bathtub had no bottem stripping to keep one from falling in the tub.

We checked in at this hotel before going to an LSU game, the first room smelled like cigarettes so I called and asked to be switched. Got the 2nd room, which was much better. We changed clothes, I did my hair & then we left for the game. Came back to the hotel a little after 10PM, I took a shower and was getting ready to get into the bed when I pulled the covers back and the whole bed was full of BLACK MOLD! Mind you, I am pregnant so it was not safe at all for me, let alone anybody else. Thankfully, we booked through Expedia and were able to get a FULL refund for this booking. We will never stay here again! Ever!

The hotel is simple and inexpensive. Breakfast is very basic so don't have high expectations. Check room before agreeing to stay, the first room option there was definitely a smoker's room or they just stunk like smoke. Any early morning departures between 11pm-5am you have to leave via side door. The owners live onsite which is a positive for any needs. Check the window to make sure it's not unlocked. Overall an inexpensive option so I'm filtering my opinions to reflect.

Stayed here in town to go to a lsu game. It was a decent price for the game day weekend and only 20 min away from the stadium. Front desk people were very polite. During check in the lobby and hallway areas smelled bad like cig smoke and just dirty but honestly the rooms were very clean. Beds were very comfy, AC was cold, bathroom very clean and hot water worked well. I would give 5 stars if the lobby and hall areas didn’t smell so bad but if you’re on a budget this is a great spot to stay.

The bed was not very comfortable and was sitting on a frame that looked like it was made out of a futon. The room never cooled off. The A/C was set as low as it could be and the blower was on high and did nothing to cool the room. The hallways smelt musky.

No-frills is not quite descriptive enough. This is more of a bare-bones place. The desk clerk was friendly enough. The parking lot was well lit. Easy on & off of the highway. The beds & room left luxury to only your imagination. Would not stay here again.

It was horrible!! No coffee pot in the room no coffee made at all in the lobby, no housekeeping was gone all day and came back to the room with no towels at all they took the dirty towels did not leave any clean towels did not clean the room did not leave extra toilet paper did not do anything, and when I went to the desk, I was told to go upstairs to housekeeping and see if they have towels. If they don’t I’ll have to wait it was horrible. They were rude!!!

Our stay here was nothing but great until I noticed it was two of the same charges on my account. When I booked through Expedia, I booked 2 rooms both totaling at $394.42. I get settled in my room only to notice there was two charges of $222.21 on my account, I go to the front desk and the guy says it was a $25 deposit for both rooms. Nowhere on the site it said anything about paying a deposit that was the main reason I booked the rooms in the first place. I hope to receive my $50 deposit back soon. Other than that the trip was decent.

Hurriedly got this reservation for traveling with my 91 year old mother for a funeral. The bed was entirely too TALL to get in and out of for her. It took two people to lift her up in the bed. The rooms were filthy, needed paint and overall unacceptable. The breakfast was bad as well. NEVER stay here again.

Room was clean not spotless. Had a couple slugs but I just poured some salt on em' and went on bout my business and haven't seen anymore.. daily housekeeping as wanted. Breakfast is muffins toast waffles and fruit. It's in a good e area and convenient to stores and restaurants!!
