The views of Cypress Bend Resort were breathtaking. All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The indoor and outdoor pools were just what was needed on this hot July 4th weekend.

Made reservations online stated centennial breakfast… called front desk asked what does it start they said they don’t! Offer it 😒:) Online said check in time was 3:00PM. Called the front desk day before arrival and they said 4:00PM The bath tube was extremely slippery dangerously no skid resistant. The large dresser front left leg was visibly broken… the site was on point . The whirlpool had to have the front desk come turn on the sauna wasn’t hot maintenance had to come and…the tube is not a garden style too small to take a soaking bath in not big in size 185lbs

This resort is totally secluded and wonderful. The elevator needed a good cleaning and a power wash on the outside of the hotel wouldn't hurt. But otherwise well maintained. The lobby and grounds were beautiful. I'd definitely stay again.

The place could use a significant update, there was a cockroach in our room, bathroom was leaking so bad the tub was full of old water. Love Toledo and the place could be a really nice place, but seems run down.

Staff was nice. Property nice. Found someone’s chapstick in chair in room after I checked in. Housekeeping never came to my room to clean or distribute more towels or anything. I was there for 2 nights and never saw housekeeping.

Upon entering our room it was clear the cleaning wasn't completed. The bed looked as if it has been slept in. Covers pulled back and the pillows were scattered. There was trash in the trash can and removed clothing tags in various locations. All the dresser draws were opened as in various degrees and the "non" smoking room reeked of cigarettes. We were moved to anothe room. This room appeared that housekeeping had done it's job. However, if you are staying for quality internet service. Forget about it. Also, the cable TV was very limited and the service was like cable from the 90's.

Very difficult to find. Place was nice and clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating. No trash cans in room but they brought us one. We really missed having a microwave. Got in late, got food to go from downstairs but by the time we got to our room it needed warming. Could not even heat up coffee. Vanity needs updating. Be nice to have a few more signs along the way. Beautiful area.

This property is stunning.. The room was very clean. All the flowers were in bloom. Just a great place for a afternoon walk they had a fire pit area that looked onto the beautiful lake and it was perfect to meditate in the morning.

The grounds and the lobby are really nice. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. The Hotel is very much in need of renovating. When you walk in the Hotel, the lobby and elevators are dirty and have rotten baseboards. We stepped into our room and smelled a mildew odor, the carpet was old and stained, the drapes are stained, the tile shower has dirty grout, the shower nozzle was broken and had to call maintenance to replace it.

The resort is grand and impressive, and somewhat remote located on the lake. After an 8 hour drive to get there, the clerk at check in insisted our room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 430 pm..She would call when ready. Hotels.com listed checkin as 3 pm. She could have given us another room or invited us to store luggage, however nothing was suggested. After a while of us asking questions, another clerk figured out that the room was ready. ‘My Bad’ was the clerk’s response. Facility is a bit dated, but clean and beautiful. The grounds and golf course were kept nicely. The bar had appetizer options. We saw a breakfast menu online, however menu service wasn’t available on Saturday morning, only a limited item buffet. The room was fairly comfortable, one light switch wasn’t working, patio doors had dirty glass, and was somewhat dated with fixtures. The tub was lower than the bathroom floor, and seemed a bit slippery.

It was ok. Our air conditioner was so loud. The maintenance guy came out to try and fix it but it was just a loud unit. He couldn't do anything to make it softer. He tried tho. They charged me for extra things not sure what for.

One bedroom king suite was perfect for our 30 year anniversary. There is plenty to do and explore in the area and the food was good, especially the chicken quesadilla. The check in was great and the staff was very nice and helpful.

Beautiful sunset views over the lake, great hamburger from the grill. Only hiccup was the internet had been out for 3 days so I had to do all my work in the lobby. Also, they put me in a room with the parking lot view instead of the Lake. They were obviously NOT full as there were maybe 5 cars in the parking lot. Hardly anybody there during the week but told me there were no other rooms. Disappointing, but nice place overall.

Check in was delayed to 4PM. Property is near the lakeshore with beautiful golf course adjacent to hotel. Hotel is very nice but key amenities are lacking: no microwave in the hotel room forces purchase of expensive resort snacks and meals. Significant drive to external restaurants or grocers stores. No WIFI reception. Cell phone service is slow depending on carrier. TV cable service is limited selection and some stations blacked out by the provider. If you don’t need thise amenities, this would be a great place to relax.

We had an amazing stay. The venue was remarkable and beautiful. The room was clean, the restroom was clean, the showers were hot and the ac/heater worked excellent. The grounds were well kept and beautiful. The young lady at the welcome desk was very pleasant. The only thing that fell short was the service and quality at the club restaurant. The waitress was very new an inexperienced. She also wasn't very good under pressure. We gave her grace and were very understanding, but that portion of the night was a let down. We paid our bill and moved into the bar area and did get better service, however, the bartender had to keep disappearing to help the waitress with her tables. I was not impressed with the quality of the food for the price paid, but I will give it another try on my next visit.

I like how when i had problems with my room how staff stepped in and took care of me. I didn't like the check in time I paid for my weekend getaway online and the time said 3pm and got there its was 4pm and I had to wait, after an long drive there.

We have reserved a room with two queen beds and were told at check in that we were switched by the manager to a king bed. This was AFTER we went to our room. We had to initiate all the conversations with the resort and were never offered any sort of compensation for the room switch. Needless to say, sleeping on a couch instead of a bed is not what I paid for. I would not recommend staying at this resort as they will not address their mistakes and offer to fix them

Arrived at property around 5:30 and was informed that they accidentally overbooked and they had no rooms available and that my reservation wasn’t valid. After going back and forth asked to speak to a manager and all of a sudden they had rooms available I would just have to wait. Around 7:45 finally received a room

The room, staff, and stay in general were all fine. Pretty average. The only complaint would be the breakfast served in the hotel. It left a lot to desire. The price was $15 for the same “simple”(i.e. liquid carton eggs, microwave bacon, and orange juice) but free continental breakfast you’d find at any other hotel. I’d gladly pay a little more for a decent breakfast. Especially when you’re being charged for it. Other than that stay was fine.

Let me first start off and say i should have listened to the reviews. This was my first time staying here and i was there with my family for the major league fishing event. Upon arrival the outside is very beautiful, now the inside is a different story the hallways are disturbing. We stayed in the suit building and didn't have hot water for our entire stay. The heat in the room ran non stop and wouldn't hold 72 degrees in the room. We ate at the resort and the food was wonderful, but clearly they are seriously understaffed. We sat in the dining area for over 20 minutes listening to the staff talk non stop and bs with each other. Finally I went to the front desk and he had to go see what was going on then told us to go sit at the bar which was across the main area. They had one server and she was working as hard as possible but couldn't keep up with everything. Our bill for 5 was over 100 with a very limited selection of food. I can't really say very many positive things about this resort other than the view and the walking path.
