Rooms were clean, staff were excellent and the hotel looks very nice but the bathrooms in the rooms let it down. The sink was loose and the tap was hanging off. The shower door was missing so maintenance seems to be lacking. The food at the resturant was very good and good value. The breakfast is good but its not a buffet. You sit down and they bring you a plate with a bit of everything on it along with some bread. I think a buffet would be better, less waste.

The building was beautiful, the location was brilliant, the staff were pleasant and helpful, and there was always someone in reception. The restaurant was good and the staff there were great too. The taxis were just around the corner, shops and restaurants just outside the entrance. My single room was very cute, it had everything, but the TV was a challenge.

The location and place is absolutely wonderful, it's an old castle and has a lot of charm. It's got a beautiful courtyard and the restaurant serves really delicious food. The rooms are spacious enough, but lack some basic interior things like hooks in the bathroom to hang towels, a table or chairs in the room to put things down and not have to put everything on the floor.
