Best Western Ville Platte

NO ELEVATORS!!!.. Other than that it is always convenient being its the only hotel in town. Room are clean. Tub step down is really high up. A/C wasnt very cool either. We did the suite and the room very spacious. Of course ill be back.

We enjoyed our stay just fine. We were in town to visit family and needed a place to shower up and sleep after activities. The pool was great!

When we checked in we were told our room was on the second floor with no elevator. We asked if there's anything on the 1st because one member of our party has mobility concerns. The irritated clerk says they are full and she can cancel our room with a penalty fee. She said that like 3 times. We repeatedly told her we didnt want to cancel and repeated our request. Again , I will just cancel your room and you can pay the penalty. I told her no...the hotel was full with a little league team with nosiy boys, and you can tell she was fed up.

Clean room, affordable rates, free parking n breakfast. My room was clean, but walking thru the door, I smelled what could've been mold/moisture. Please consider installing a sign closer to a drivers eye level, near the main highway. The sign that is there, a driver won't see it until passing up the place. Happened to me every time I left n came back.

The property was located on a quiet strip of road that was set off from the road. Our was good but the only issue was the bathroom faucet was real loose and the bed closest to the wall had bed bugs. As far as outside at night the lighting was good around the building but was terrible closer to the road.

Stay was fine once they found our reservation. Not having an elevator was not convenient due to my husband just having knee surgery. Rooms were swapped around due to this need. However room when reserved was a handicap accessible and upon arrival was not. Was happy that swap was able to be done. And was told if it wouldn’t have been able that they would have had to turn us away.

Older hotel that has been updated and is in a great shape. Very clean, safe, and nice staff!

Small motel but family running it very accommodating. Not fancy but clean. Would definitely stay again.

I’ve stayed here before due to its the only hotel in the town. This time I was not satisfied the room had a strong mold smell and lots of roaches.

The hotel is not inviting. They need new sheets, comforters, and towels. All of the linen looked dingy.

The place was fine. My only concern was the height of the bathtub ledge was a bit scary. The step down out of the tub was considerable further to the floor. It wouldn't work great if your balance wasn't too good.

It was a good place to stay. Only complaint is the bed being so hard. A few other family members stayed there too. We had a wake & funeral not too far from the hotel . They said the same thing about the bed. Other than that was good!

I was charged a $50 fee for incidentals, refundable within 5-7 business days. I’ve never had that happen. A/C wasn’t cooling properly and there was no other room available. No effort to make things right.

Tv didn’t work the remote couldn’t tune tv breakfast was terrible sausage was so greasy eggs was full of water I’m requesting 1/2 of my money back it was worse experience ever had at a hotel

Noise was horrible. Tv remote didnt work half the time. Breakfast was bad. Asked for handicap room and they called me DAY OF to let me know there wasnt one on first floor. Then she had the nerve to ask how was i going to get to room without a wheelchair. What the hell. Had to leave a day early because husband got into an accident she didnt even want to help me with a refund. No customer service

Staff was unfriendly. The rooms need updating. Our toilet backup and housekeeping gave me a plunger to fix it. Management displayed very poor customer service

The only thing i hated was being charged twice for my room stay when it was covered already when i made the reservation a month before

Owners were very nice and accommodating

I got the room with my points and did not accept that. They want to charge me $87 for the night. I did not stay. I left and went to another place. Do I get my points back?

The staff members I met were extremely nice and helpful. I will happily stay here the next time I visit the Ville Platte area.

We called 24 hours before to cancel our reservation. We were told that it had to be cancelled by the manager and she will not be in until Monday. The front desk young lady said it will be processed then and I would receive a call when it is completed. I did not hear anything from them so I called and spoke to Amy who is the manager. I explained the situation and she was the most rude human I have ever met. She should not be in customer service. She lied over and over since this was booked through hotel.com and stated that she never spoke to me so I called her on another phone and caught her 5 times in the same lie. She also stated that she never spoke to hotel.com while on the phone with them and they said we spoke to you several times. She hung up for the 3rd time. I called her back again and requested that she process the refund and she said no bc it wasn’t within 24 hours and it’s passed the day of the booking. She was not listening to what was being said bc I explained to her the whole story from calling 24 hours before to her not being there. She then said hold on I have a customer and number returned. So now I have to make a claim with my bank bc they stole my money. It is said what they have representing their hotels. She needs to understand that without customers she does not have a job. Find some where else to stay. She is a nasty ugly human being. I am so glad we did not have to walk in that place. It is said that a million dollar hotel steals people’s money.

This property is located in an area that is not considered very safe, small town, very little dining or shopping available. Having said this, it is a very good place for the location. I’m a traveling healthcare worker and am glad to have found it! My complaint is that I had a suite on the first night and a very downgraded room the following night for the same rate. I book through Travelocity often- I have not had this happen before. I’m hoping for a rebate, coupon, or other similar to make up for the difference.
